Anyone can sell you a bike, it’s the service that keeps me coming back and being one happy biker. Service Manager Doug and his crew really take the time to understand what’s going on and get it right. Oh, and after you buy that shiny new bike, make sure you schedule a bike fit session with Jeff; he will make sure you achieve optimum comfort on your new rig. If you are a member of Cycling KC bike club, you get a 10% discount. If you sign-​up for a supported ride in the metro, chances are good that the Bike Source guys are the ones wrenching the bikes and keeping things rolling; so it’s great to support them knowing they are out there supporting the biking community.

I’ve never had any thing but great experiences at this store. Great product selection and a very friendly and well-​informed staff. The sales rep I’ve always dealt with is one of the nicest and perkiest I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and he has a nice butt too so there’s that…

Bought my first brand new bike here, at the time (2011) great service and friendly staff. Taken the bike in on numerous occaisions to get tune up and check things out.
Flash forward to 2015.
So sold on the place I convince my boyfriend to buy his first road bike there. We rode the harley out and were in our riding gear (other biking) and there were 5 salesmen, walking around, talking to each other, and one other client, and NO ONE would approach us.
The girl at the counter asked me once in the clothing department if I needed help, but when we walked over to the bikes we were totally ignored.
Even when we were standing next to the saleseman with the customer, it was like we were invisible.
Will not go back to this location, the staff has obviously changed for the worst.
Went to the store on 135th and were greeted right away and talked into a really good bike for what he wanted.
Sad to say but I won’t be back to this location.

This location has been open about a year now. It is a clean, spacious, full-​service store. Decent amounts of apparel and accessories. Bikes from $ 500ish to about $ 10,000. The store is dominated by Specialized bikes, so you should know that before going. The staff is super friendly and helpful, as well. There is a full service shop in the back, and that is where my rear wheel is now. :)

I worked with 3 different people here during my 2-​day bike search, and everyone was very helpful, knowledgable, and patient in explaining my options and answering my questions. I feel like I got a good bike for the price, and I like that they do basic tune-​ups and simple maintenance for free on bikes they sell. They offer competitive pricing, and were actually the cheaper option for similarly-spec’d bikes at other shops in KC. I started shopping as they were transitioning from the 2011 to 2012 model bikes, so my choices were a little more limited, but it was worth it for the price.

We have bought 3 bikes here over the last 6 months. These guys are great and don’t seem to mind that my 3 and 5yo bike around the aisles on their floor models the entire time we shop. They can outfit you for any type of bike from the occasional user — me, to the more frequent biker — hubby in multiple price ranges. But they also have some extreme/​high end bikes — but I didn’t look at those. We also got a bike rack for the car that has worked out really well and we both got new helmets (they last one I bought was in 1985!). These guys love to bike and are super friendly. They will also do routine maintence for free, and if there is any issue they can take care of it for you too. If I can find the card of the guy who helped us I’ll update the site, but I’ve interacted with several of them (since it is just up the street from us) and have enjoyed talking to all of them.
