Love the healthy options to fit any diet! Loved my meal bowls and black lavender tea.

Love the fresh juices, protein balls and the scrambles. But the staff is so slow & sometimes not very pleasant. Be prepared to wait a long time, Not a place to stop if you are in a hurry.

As a regular, very satisfied Lawrence T Loft customer, I was incredibly disappointed with the Leawood location. My husband and I waited in line behind a single customer for far longer than one would expect with 3 girls working behind the counter. Not one of them acknowledged our presence as we walked in the door or the whole time we waited, most likely because they were too busy talking and laughing amongst themselves. Is that behavior professional? No, it’s not, but I go to T Loft for good juice, not in search of stellar customer service; if I happen to get great, simply even courteous service, that’s a bonus(Though I have to say, I’ve always had rock star service in Lawrence). Our order was finally taken and in response to the total, I handed the cashier a hundred dollar bill. She looked at me like I had 3 heads, finally informing me that«we don’t accept hundred dollar bills». What? As in, you don’t have change for a hundred? «No, we just don’t accept hundred dollar bills. Our manager said we don’t, because it’s just too complicated.» All three of them proceeded to stare at us with blank expressions on their face until I finally plucked my money out of the cashiers hand and walked out the door. Complicated indeed.

This place is so cute! When I arrived a little before 10am, I was the only person there. But a few minutes later several people came in. This definitely seems to be the place for the young to middle aged, health conscious woman. I love fresh pressed juice and will go out of my way to find it when I am traveling. I had the citrus teazer. It was sweeter than what I normally make at home, but I was expecting that based on the ingredients. But it wasn’t too sweet and I could have had another one! It was delicious. I also had the veggie scramble. Good sized portion. Didn’t skimp on the goat cheese. I left full but not uncomfortably so and very happy. Looking forward to the new location coming to the plaza as that is a more convenient location for me.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Just stopped in for a drink. I left my cell phone and they tracked me down to return it, what a great bunch of people.

I have to re-do my review. I think maybe my first visit was a fluke. The juice is amazing and the food is pretty great(especially if you need G-Free). I went a bunch while in OPK for my Husband’s company and was so happy with the experience. It was a relief to go get breakfast and not have to do the whole«I can’t have gluten» song and dance.

This place is lovely!!! The food is great, they have very healthy options. The décor is cute and modern, absolutely love the swing. But there’s definitely major improvements that need to happen. I still have 4 stars bc I was so impressed with the food. Improvements– the wait for the food was crazy long(and that was before they had a line to the door). I had enough time to put in my order, go next door to Parisi, have a coffee, some macaroons, come back and still wait for my food to come out for 3min… The staff– the guy cooking was the best dressed there. The girls looked like they rolled out of bed, didn’t bother brushing their hair or looking in the mirror, put their hair in an Unbrushed top knot and came to work in what they were wearing in bed. Have a little self-respect in the work place people! I believe these things could easily be fixed to provide a much better experience

The drinks are pretty good, the food is way too complicated to order and the customer service is below par for the one visit and probably only visit.

The juice scene and community in kansas city overall is very lacking. Ive traveled to many cities in the US who have a plethora of amazing juice bars at every corner, and the sad reality in kansas city is that we are the land of corn fed red meat eaters. That being said, t loft is a wonderful breath of fresh air. Juices, smoothies and protein snacks all clean and vegetarian or vegan south of the city, what a concept! There was a time when i would drive 40 minutes round trip to city market or café gratitude to grab produce or a juice. Now I finally have an alternative. This t loft is tucked away in town center and theres always pretty girls working and enjoying juices here. Its a comfortable and cozy store, with cool seating ranging from tables, to swings and a bar, with free wifi of course. Check out the almond dream, its gotta be my favorite menu item!

Impressive juice menu and décor. It’s so bright inside with the huge windows, giant mirror and chandelier. Just what you need for a dull winter day pick-me-up. I’ll admit I had sticker shock, but the quality seems to justify the price. I tried the«Alive & Alert» a blend of fruit juices with kale and spinach. Pretty good. The cocoa protein ball was two bites of heaven. I did like the guilt-free healthy feeling I had when I walked out the door. My overall impression was that this place is like a piece of steamed broccoli being served on a silver platter by a rude waiter. Ha! I agree with my fellow Unilocalers the service here could use an overhaul. Learn to smile ladies, it makes a huge difference!

Had a wonderful experience here! The Wake Up Call smoothie was fantastic and the protein bites are like little balls of Heaven! The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was very nice and clean. My family loves this place and can’t get enough of the Moroccan Tea. Definitely a great healthy addition to Park Place!

Loved this place! Great décor, nice menu. I only gave it 4 stars because I only had tea, so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu. I enjoyed sitting on the swing and chatting with friends and the iced Cleanse tea was wonderful! I will definitely be back and look for an excuse to head that way soon.

Beautiful décor and a healthy, gluten-free and clean eating menu drew me in to try this place while visiting from Tulsa. The smoothies my Mom and I ordered were delicious, but it was a little off-putting that the one girl behind the counter just said hi and walked off after we walked inside. With no one else in there, you’d think they’d be a little more welcoming to a couple customers. It took them a couple minutes to realize we were ready to order and come talk to us… they were busy chatting in the back. The rest of the time I spent drinking my smoothie, I could hear all of the staff talking in the back about stuff that would probably be better off saved for happy hour chit chat.

I am a juice lover and have been craving a juice bar in the overland park area that is not all the way down on state line or downtown(succotash). Sometimes it’s nice to let someone else handle the mess and work of making the juice. When I found out this place had opened I eagerly ran over to try it! Honestly I couldn’t be more impressed. I wish we had more places like this in the KC area. Yes, the music may occasionally be a bit loud but if you worked at a little juice bar and made juices/smoothies all day you’d probably crank the music a bit due to hearing problems from loud machines too! Also yes, the service is slow but juicing and preparing fresh drinks takes time! Patience is a virtue. This place definitely caters to the cliché «Johnson County housewife» with the atmosphere & location but also any random 20 something looking for a light health meal option. My only suggestion(maybe once more established) is to offer glass cups/mugs for sale that if brought in customers could bring in and receive a small discount on juice/tea/smoothie which would reduce the amount of plastic waste from the disposable cups because they are guzzled down and then tossed in the trash. Other than my environmentally friendly suggestion, I love this place! Atmosphere, décor, payment method(emailed receipts, yes please) food, everything. I’ve been there three times now and love it. The girls that work there are informative when I have questions and do their job well. More importantly– the quality of everything I have bought is delicious and leaves me feeling satisfied and nourished. I particularly love the Alive & Alert. I couldn’t be more grateful for small healthy food movements like this that get people trying something different. I’ll definitely be coming back!

From the outside looking in this place should be amazing! The décor is beautiful and it looks like a place I would want to grab a tea or juice with my friends and hang out and chat. Unfortunately, this won’t be the case. The music was obnoxiously loud and the girls behind the counter acted put out when I asked a couple questions about the menu. The smoothie I had was ok… but didn’t taste any different or better than one from McDonalds. The food at the counter looked like it had been there awhile and was over priced. The location is great, but I would go up two doors instead to Parisi Café and get better service with a smile and not have to yell your order to the cashier!

I really(I mean REALLY) wanted to like this place. The juice was great and I may go back for that, but count me out for any of the bakery items or salads. There is just something about ridiculously dry and grainy baked goods I just can’t get over. I have had far better gluten free brownies elsewhere — hell, I would rather make them myself then choke down that hockey puck again(and I don’t bake). And $ 6 for old, browning lettuce… no thank you! The Park Place location is great and I love the décor, but customer service is definitely lacking. This is the type of place I want to go to feel good about myself, not ignored and looked down on by some prissy girls. This might just have to be a post work-out juice place only.
