Coffee is good. Awesome atmosphere and location. Close to the parking garage. Their internet is very frustrating! This is my only complaint.

This Parisi location is similar to the other café inside Union Station except that it is super Johnson County-ed up. Inside of the über-chic Park Place shopping area adjacent to Town Center in Leawood, Parisi serves up normal coffee shop wares. Hot and cold drinks, specialty non-coffee drinks, and an expansive food menu highlight their offerings. They also serve wine and beer at the bar-style end of the café. The opulence of this coffee shop is unlike any I have tried in Kansas City. The only place I can liken it to is Intelligensia Coffee in Chicago — super hip and very proud of their space and product. I’m typically good with wood paneled or stone walls and flannel wearing baristas. Parisi in Park Place is a bit haughty at times — lots of folks in and out to and from nearby yoga, spa days, or shopping. Their coffee is often too good to pass up when you are nearby and that lure keeps me coming back. I’ll continue to pick up a morning cup here from time to time, but would ultimately prefer Union Station’s ambiance and consumer diversity to this locale.

Two things I’ve always loved about Parisi Café: Their drip coffee game is on point and if you’re not sure what kind of drink you’re looking for, their helpful baristas can almost always steer you in the right direction. This café is anchored in the middle of Park Place, and has easy access from most places in this pop-up village. It’s a nice change of pace from the acres of Starbucks in the area. It’s a crisp, clean atmosphere that is easy to work in, and on nicer, warmer days, it’s nice to snag a shaded patio spot. They do Italian sodas, have an impressive tea selection, and generally impressive drink menu throughout. It’s a bit pricier than some other options, but the quality is obvious. This would be a regular in the rotation if I lived closer, but in the meantime I’ll look forward to popping in here when I’m by it.

My absolute favorite coffee is Peet’s, but Parisi comes a very close second. Dark, rich, and decadent, this is what the coffee experience should be like every time.

V60 coffee is great but with poorly roasted beans there is no hope. I have used a V60 for many many years. The bottom line is that Parisi coffee roasting is sub par. And doesn’t compare to places like counter-culture or madcap coffee. Maybe Parisi could visit with one of those companies and get some tips on roasting.

Damn, that’s good coffee. I’ve been meaning to try this place since last November, but was too stuffed from 801 Chophouse to eat/drink anymore. After dinner tonight, I went for a long walk around the mall and swung by and picked up a Specialty Café Latte for a small $ 4.50. Keep in mind, I’m actually a caffeine light weight(Camomile Tea keeps me up), so I rarely drink coffee. Man, this coffee was smooth and very aromatic. The coffee was served at a perfect temperature. Not too hot, so you can actually drinking it right away. The barista was also totally hitting on me, too. He arranged the froth into little hearts before he gave it to me. Still got it. Overall, this place was good. If you don’t mind seeing lovely, dovey hipsters sucking on each other’s faces, you’ll like this place.

Cute lounge-like coffee shop in Park Place. It’s a good spot to get some work done or catch up with a friend over drinks. Love the pastries — the honey walnut scone is on point. The coffee, however is just okay. I like strong coffee and it tends to taste watered down most of the time, while other times it will have a weird metallic aftertaste. Staff is great though because whenever I’ve mentioned the aftertaste issue to them, they’ve quickly replaced the coffee.

Delicious coffee and tea selection. Excellent quality and service. Seating can be limited at times, as can the parking, so go in the early morning. I like the music they play too. The baristas are all very knowledgeable and passionate about the art of the cup. Wonderful café!

I come to Kansas a lot for work. I stumbled upon this elegant Paris inspired coffee shop this morning. Staff was friendly, and very knowledgeable of what coffee concoction could wake you up from a coma. The food ranges from oatmeal to pastries, and later in the day when doesn’t doesn’t take off the edge they have craft beer… sign me up! All and all great place highly recommend!

We grabbed a couple lattes to go and one bag of beans! It was nice to go into a place that can make a traditional latte and not some beverage that is a ton of hot milk with a shot of espresso! Well done!

We popped into Parisi last Friday after a nice dinner around the corner, looking specifically for the macaroons(which are Gluten Free) as a dessert. The poor girl behind the counter couldn’t quite get anything right — 1) she had no idea what flavors the macaroons were that were in the case. 2) we asked for 5 of them and she only got 4 out of 5 correct but it was too late to go back after we realized the mistake. 3) when giving back my change, she didn’t give me back the proper amount and had to correct her. I must say the macaroons were pretty good though and the location has a real nice café feel and was a nice place. Please note, on Friday’s/Saturday’s parking is a little dicey but they do have a parking garage which is centrally located and makes it easy to walk to the local establishments.

The five stars is for their chai tea latte alone. The baristas are talented and the coffee of high quality, I drive out of my way, however for their chai. I forget how the barista described to me that they brew it, but I do know it is made from fresh tea and is wonderfully spicy. Totally worth the five dollar + price tag to make it with soy … And sometimes a shot or two.

Superb coffee and a nice atmosphere. Be wary though, it is often difficult to find a place to sit.

I’m definitely an espresso snob, so bear that in mind with this review. The beans are old, the espresso machine needs to be descaled and the grind is off every time I’ve come in. No crema on the shots and a bitter metallic taste. Milk is steamed well and they make a good microfoam. Pour over is probably pretty good, can’t speak for the food.

Great atmosphere, busy morning spot. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Only complaint is not enough seating. We made due with the counter, which worked too.

Been here several times. Hubby and I each had a pour over coffee, both quite good. I had a couple macarons, they were ok. The peanut butter & jelly one was the best! Hubby had a slice of tiramisu, was quite good. Barista said their bakery items were from NYC. Need to come back for a fig and honey latte!

Best coffee shop in the city. Artful, delicious, a little pretentious inside, but it’s a coffee house. Try their cioccolato: Basically a melted chocolate bar inside of a tall shot glass. All their seasonal coffees are incredible, and they look so dapper. I feel like I’m touring a factory that manufacturers hipsters, but they make good coffee so I don’t care.

Looking on Unilocal for an alternative to the uninspiring breakfast at our local hotel, we can upon Parisi and gave it a try. Laptops in hand, we enjoyed their delicious coffee, pastries, and pleasant, calm atmosphere for two hours. Liked it so much we came back the next day for more great coffee and breakfast. Coffee is very well done, and a nice change from hotel and chain options if you are visiting the area. If I lived here I would be a regular!

Still loving this little gem! Last night sat outside with a decadent little cup of ciocollato and whiled the evening away listening to their funky blend of music and visiting with a friend. What a nice place to unwind. P. S. Cioccollato will change your life!
