We went a «warmer than usual» day and the ice was half-melted. When I asked the staff(consisting of a bunch of teens in the corner, hidden behind a rack of skates, who were doing something together that took their attention away from the front counter) if there was a discount for the rough ice and large puddles they seemed shocked I would even ask. When I asked if there would be a refund if the first-time skaters got all wet the first five minutes they seemed just as shocked. The good news is there is a bathroom very close by(at Ingredient Restaurant) and the views of the nearby«low-rise» buildings was very pretty. For $ 10 a person, it just seems that there should be newer, evenly spaced laces and happy, helpful people helping the customers.

Nicely run spot for a first or second skate with children. In a nice mall/complex. Bathrooms nearby. It’s all good.

Visiting family in Kansas we took our two boys to this small and intimate outdoor ice rink for their first ice skating experience. Skate are available, music playing and they even have a Zamboni.
