Wednesday nights are $.60 wings and $ 3.50 import bottles. Pretty delicious deal if you ask me! I tried half Buffalo and half Carolina wings — l preferred the Buffalo. The Paulaner Hefe-​Weizen was outstanding! Just what I needed after a long day at work

Hugh is the MAN! Great bar. Wings are the best in the area! Ask them to be fried and grilled! It’s their specialty. Good prices for the area. Saturday night always good for beer deals.

Really enjoyed this place — half price burgers helped, of course.
It was a quiet, late lunch, and the server was fantastic. Our first visit, and we enjoyed the burgers and the beer!
Definitely a place we will go to again!

I enjoy the daily specials. Favorite day of the week is Wings Wednesday, .60 wings. If you like spicy, prairie fire wings are the way to go!

Been to this Talk of The Town location several times and each time we’ve had good service, food is above average for traditional bar food, decent drink prices and I really like the feel of the bar area, big but cozy and nice outdoor patio, this is our go to place when others in the area are busy. My only recommendation is the manager really needs to change the lighting in the bar area, you can tell they replaced the bulbs with Daylight, not Soft White type when sitting at some tables you get the feeling your in an operating room, lighting in a bar should be soft and dark, not super bright, it plays a big roll in the atmosphere of a place.

I got extremely ill after eating here several months ago with my friend. I will NEVER be back. I don’t know what they do to the food in the back, it’s really concerning. I’ve never been to a restaurant that had such a fast food poisoning response from my body!!! The service was very horrible too because we had to keep begging our waiter to stop and attend to us. Hopefully the health inspector will come in soon and shut this place down. Ewwww.

Came for a Chamber Of Commerce event, I’ll have to come again some time for dinner and give this place a more thorough review then… my overall impression was favorable!
The mini egg rolls I tried were pretty good. I didn’t feel up to walking/​talking/​shaking hands while having the other more taco like items. The staff was attentively serving drinks and smiling. The private room was long and narrow, would have been great for a sit down event, I found it hard to move around in there for a mostly stand-​up event though!

Lovely neighborhood bar/​restaurant. Great happy hour specials. They have a wonderful outside patio with a fireplace and seating. Great casual neighborhood hangout.

Daily specials including half price burgers, which I did today. JP was my server tonight, she couldn’t have been any sweeter. She checked on us, making sure everything was right and that we didn’t need anything during our time there. Hell even the manager on duty will stop by your table before you leave and ask if everything was good & service was on point. Plenty of TV’s to watch sports and enough space in between table so you don’t feel packed in.
Pork tenderloin, wings, fish tacos and burgers are all highly recommended.

I really like the atmosphere at this restaurant. This is the 2nd time I have been here. The happy hour is ok. Food and service are average. My husband ordered chicken wings and I got nachos. He said the wings were ok. The nachos were a little better than Taco Bell’s Grande nachos. I had two cocktails, a cherry limeade and a sangria. The drinks were over priced. Wish I liked beer!

The nachos are great. I get them every time I go in. The service is a little hit or miss. My biggest complaint is they want to charge you for a side of ranch with your fries. That is ridiculous in my book.

I ordered a «classic» cheeseburger with waffle fries ($ 4.00) and a soft drink ($ 2.29) on a half price burger Monday. My order was delivered to my table with a smile in eight minutes. The burger and fries were very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive, the interior was clean and fairly new, there were over 20 TVs tuned to various sporting events, and contemporary music was playing.

You know you ate at a bad restaurant when before you even leave you have an upset stomach. Our waitress was terrible — she took forever getting us our drinks/​food. The food was average at best. Do NOT order the taco salad — super greasy… I’m convinced the meat is low-​grade made from anything but actual beef. We won’t be coming here again!

Try the California Chicken Sandwich. it’s good, real good. The wait staff is friendly, in a suburban, hipster, rebel punk girl sort of way. My friends had the fish and chips and the Baja fish tacos. all good.
we went on a Sunday night to watch rugby and they were very accommodating to fit our viewing needs.

Cold food, cold service, no apologies…
I went here with coworkers for what turned out to be a 2 hour lunch. We sat down, got drinks, ordered food. Another table that sat down 20 minutes after us got their food first. Fifteen minutes later, with no water refills, our food came out cold. We sent the food back and the waitress said the manager would be out. The manager came out 10 minutes later and delivered our food hot. The waitress nor manager never apologized, we were not rude at all during our lunch and we said thank you every time she brought something to us. We did not get any of our lunch discounted, we got no «thank you’s», we got no «I’m sorry’s» for the lunch. Do not recommend coming to this restaurant and will not be returning!

Just had the Best pizza. The Supreme had a not thin but not too thick crust with just the right spice sauce. The toppings were plentiful and they left off the green peppers as I had asked. Ate more than I should. Wonderful!!!
We eat here every couple of weeks and like their Fish & Chips, Overlander, chicken sandwiches, nachos, sides of rice and beans and most everything.
We make a point to sit on the bar side for better service
