I’m a relatively new customer to B Lewie Salon in Lebanon, and during my first few appointments there, I’ve developed pretty strong opinions about the spa. They have a ton of products available for sale in the lobby, although the prices are a bit steep. Actual service prices are comparable to other salons. My first visit was amazing. I was«That Girl» who decided at 11 o’clock in the morning that«today» would be the day to chop off all my hair. Fortunately, they rolled with my impulsivity and got me a 7 pm appointment. Kelly spent an hour and 20 minutes with me at the end of the day, giving me a drastic haircut that I LOVE! Tall order for someone who doesn’t know me or my hair and is told, «Chop it all off but make sure I don’t look like a soccer mom at Walmart or I’ll cut you with your own scissors.» I left with a welcome swag bag and a ton of sample products for being a first time visitor. I’d give the hair services a 6, if I could. My second appointment was for a shellac manicure. This was not as impressive as my hair experience. The area where manicures and pedicures are done is really narrow and cramped, barely bigger than a walk-in closet, where they’ve squeezed in two pedi chairs, a mani station, and a hair drying station. If yo’re claustriphobic or don’t like clutter, you won’t find this a relaxing setting. The girl who did my nails was very pleasant and did a decent job. Not the best manicure I’ve ever had, but not the worst. The real let-down for me was the poor selection options they had in nail colors. It’s January — I wanted a rich, vampy burgundy. They didn’t have burgundy!!! Bright red, hot pink, or purple — those are as close as they could get. This portion of the salon only gets a 2 from me. So I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer for my hair. I’m getting ready to schedule my next appointment this week(we’re going even shorter, Kelly!) and to be registered to win a gift basket, I’ll be prebooking my NEXT appointment then too, which is a fun perk they offer. But nails — head elsewhere. Four stars.

I took my mother out on her birthday to celebrate her 88th birthday. Beautiful salon. Not wanting a haircut my mother simply had a trim, shampoo and style. Sadly, it did not last. The curls fell straight out within two hours. I had a blowout. Normally my hair is dried using a round brush. Not so here at this salon which caused my hair not to lay the way I like. Within two days I had to rewash it, dry it and do it myself.

I’ve been going here for years and they always do perfection to my hair. They have all kinds of top hair care products and a very clean salon. I have tried a lot of hair salons in Cincinnati, but I am willing to drive here to Lebanon for their salon. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good color or highlight.

Bought my Wife a gift certificate to here while on vacation and visiting friends nearby. She came back looking more beautiful than ever, and said she really enjoyed it. Thanks B Lewie for not letting me down! :)
