The food was great, but the service & atmosphere weren’t. The penne with shrimp and peas was delicious, but the waitress gave me a difficult time for asking to switch the cream sauce to a tomato sauce due to an allergy. The carbonara was also great.

Pricey but was decent food. Dessert was awesome. There are few places to eat in the area so it’s slim pickings. We no longer live here but we visited often when we did.

Simply the best ever. You don’t last 25 years without being good. The pizza is perfect! Yum!

Went here with my husband and father-in-law last night. I have seriously not had better Italian food in a long time, if ever. The appetizers(bruschetta and mozzarella & prosciutto antipasto platter) were SO delicious, super fresh and beautifully presented. They also came out so fast, we were starving so it was much appreciated. For entrée I had frutti de mare and it was OFFTHECHAIN. It was absolutely delicious. The tomato sauce was robust but fresh tasting, not built from tomato paste, perfectly seasoned and in just the right amount. Normally, I would not eat the leftover sauce in the bottom of the bowl with a spoon but I couldn’t help myself. It was too good. The seafood was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The reason this gets four stars is the desserts. The menu was exciting, I hadn’t had a cannoli yet(I’m from Australia) so I ordered that, my husband ordered crème brulee and my father-in-law ordered tiramisu. The cannoli was okay. I wanted it to be crispy but it was hard and difficult to eat. The cream was a bit flavorless. The crème brulee was okay. Good not great. And the tiramisu was more like a sundae, kind of tacky in presentation and not great in flavor. Honestly, it didn’t take the shine off the entrée /appetizer though. INCREDIBLE. I can’t wait to go back.

Three tomatoes is a chain restaurant. They do a good job of curating a decent wine selection. Their bar is nice and well stocked and they have a person making drinks full-time. In fact, I like sitting at their bar when the weather is too cool to enjoy their outside seating. The vibe is very local feeling with a decent menu of classic Italian dishes mixed with some american-ized Italian food. Their brick one does put out some A+ pizzas with good ingredients. The price does feel a little high but you can easily just keep the wallet in check and order simple dishes without an appetizer, a glass of wine and still come out for $ 20 a person. The house wine is okay and not awful which is always a good thing. I think for a first time, their pizza and Bruschetta are must-try.

My family went to Three Tomatoes for dinner last Friday night-we sat outside and ordered our meals of the salmon and shrimp pasta and a special lamb tenderloin with pasta. Our waitress was nice, the food was served within a good time frame, and we both agreed our food was cooked well and tasty. My two year old enjoyed the noodles off both our plates. While the food is tasty, nothing particularly stands out about it. When I think about eating Italian food, my mind will jump to eating at another restaurant like Stella’s. Nevertheless, it’s a nice location-we enjoyed playing on the Green before we ate dinner.

A quick stop for lunch on our way to Burlington brought us here. We shared a margherita pizza and roasted beet salad and both were delicious! We sat outside and it was so windy, lettuce flew off our plates. Not great. Thankfully, the fountain just nearby hasn’t been completed, so we didn’t get water splashing on us. Not a lot of people here for Thursday lunch time. The waitress was very nice and service was perfectly timed.

I’ve been a very satisfied diner for 25 years at Three Tomatoes. The other night I ordered the seafood cannelloni dish which was superb.

I wrote a review about a year ago that the food at Three Tomatoes let me down and I decided to give the it another(few) chances but it didn’t work very well. I have been there another few times after my first bad experience and the best word to describe Three Tomatoes is SURPRISE. During my last few visits, I had a couple of delicious dinners and a couple of disappointing ones. The quality and taste of the food is not consistent, so you never know what to expect. Expect to receive either a good or bad surprise! The service is always bad. One time my food was late, another time my order came wrong. When I asked the waitress what types of noodles the restaurant made, she answered: I don’t know. She didn’t even bother to ask, just stood there pressuring us for a decision! After being tired of surprises, I decided not to go anymore but unfortunately a friend of mine decided to celebrate her birthday there leaving me with no choice. During my last visit to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday, there was a construction in the Lebanon green and the police asked the restaurant to warn the tables about parking restrictions during that time. Of course the staff warned every single table besides ours and we had our car towed. I understand that where we park is our responsibility but I don’t appreciate the fact that everyone received a notice besides us. When we went to the manager telling what happened, all she said: «I’m sorry to hear, but it’s not my fault or responsibility. We warned everyone and did the best we could, your table was too small and we didn’t notice you seating outside». Excuse, me? A table of four is too small? Do you prioritize only a few? Manager was not even polite with us. Well, I don’t like surprise and I hate bad service. So, I don’t plan to return.

I’ve been twice and had the salmon once and a vegetarian pasta the other time. The salmon was really good – nicely done, with the right amount of sear without being stiff and overdone. I def. enjoyed it. The pasta was«meh». Okay in my book, certainly not something to write home about – and not something that I would order again. Service was decent in that I don’t recall it being rude nor do I recall it being over the top wonderful.

sat for over 10 minutes and all we got was«I’ll be right with you». I know the services are slower in UV but this was the worst.

I really enjoy Three Tomatoes but I went there just recently for a coworker’s farewell dinner and they completely botched the checks when we tried to cover our friend’s bill. It took them 20 minutes to split the check and not only were the items divided incorrectly but they also overcharged us by a lot. Very disappointing for a venue that serves great Italian food.

I’ve been going to Three Tomatoes for many years. I have NEVER had a bad experience, the food is ALWAYS delicious, the atmosphere is energetic, yet romantic and the service is always outstanding. I went in over Christmas with my sister after not going to 3 T’s in a couple years and we sat at the bar. Kim was our bartender and was very charming. We had a fantastic time, as always.

I think you can see from all the reviews that this place is inconsistent. Which is really a shame, because I’ve had fantastic food, and not fantastic food. I’ve had speedy service, and not speedy. Everyone is very nice, and they are really good about food allergies(I’m gluten free and more, and my mom is corn free) and we can all happily eat there. So for that, I’m willing to overlook some issues. I’ve had their GF pasta bolonese, and it’s the best. I snuck a bite of my dad’s tiramisu and it’s worth, for me, getting sick later(not GF, et al). But then, I had the trout special tonight. Who puts a full trout on top of pasta? So odd, so tasteless. I had also gotten a side of sausage and meatballs(probably not gluten free, and they never bothered to ask or check) and the sausage and sauce really helped the tasteless fish and pasta. The meatballs I would not get again. Basically, if you have very severe food allergies, then you have to ask a lot of questions, but they are very mindful. And I suggest you stick to the pasta dishes. They have GF pizza which sounds amazing, but I’ve not tried it yet.

Up here on our honeymoon and found this place via our GPS suggestions. Can’t say enough good things! Food was terrific. The price was definitely reasonable. Our server, Shaylen, was great Always came to the table with a smile! (And even had great advice for us tourists to the area!) Would absolutely come back if we visit the area again! Many thanks Shaylen! Mr & Mrs Pete Petrides Marstons Mills, Cape Cod, MA

Maybe we should have turned around and left when they couldn’t find our reservation for our party of six. It was a Thursday night in the summer. The town was busy with the farmers market across the Green and they rescheduled the Fourth of July fireworks to tonight. Three tomatoes was about 80% full. Our waitress was friendly enough but oh so inattentive and distracted. Drink orders were painfully slow to arrive. Only 3 of the 6 of us ordered drinks and that took 15 minutes. I have never had to pour my own martini from the shaker before. She simply put an empty glass and the shaker on the table and walked away. We sat on a long table yet the waitress brought one basket of bread for us to pass around and one plate of dipping oil. To add insult to injury, she spilled the oil onto the table and into the water glass of one of the diners. She apologized and said she will replace the water glass, which she never did. She never bothered to wipe up the oil on the table the whole evening, simply placing our entrees onto the oily table. Food was slow to arrive but we kept ourselves entertained. I ordered a second martini when my food arrived. I would have ordered one much earlier, if our waitress has come back, but she was nowhere to be found. I ordered the hanger steak, which was lukewarm to cool, at best. Still, it was tasty, albeit burnt on the edges. I was almost finished with my steak when the waitress informed me that the bar was backed up and my martini would be coming soon. I told her it was too late and cancelled it. When the bill was presented, she apologized that she was not on top of her game and she did not add the gratuity because of our party of six. That was the ONLY thing that I gave her credit for. Ugh, what a poor experience. Slow service the whole time. Slow food, slow drinks.

6 years since our last visit and again we were underwhelmed. The Roasted Beet salad was a bed of spinach with a good helping of beets and a smattering of sliced almonds. I like beets but the salad was mediocre at best. No dressing, overly oily beets and onions, and the almonds lacked any punctuation. I ordered the chicken with vegetables and fettucine. The chicken with bland and over cooked, the vegetables and pasta were coated in an oily tasteless pesto sauce. My husband ordered a vegetarian pizza which again lacked any significant flavor. The only reason we went here for a second time was because we received a gift card. If we should ever receive another one, I’m just going to re-gift it.
