Prices are reasonable for a quick breakfast at the casino. They have a decent selection of bagels and a decent sized menu for a quick service place.

We went to a show at Foxwoods last night and this was the first place that caught our eye as we walked in. The pastries they had on display looked amazing and I was happy to see everything’s calories labeled. The 800 calorie chocolate chip coffee cake looked delicious so we bought one. It was New Year’s Eve so we were allowed a little bit of a splurge on calories. Even though they’re in a casino prices were not totally unreasonable. The cake cost $ 2.66 and the employee gave us a cup for free hot water. If it weren’t 10pm I would’ve loved to try their vanilla hazelnut latte.

The coffee cakes are as a good as they look(and they look great). When ordering iced coffee they give you a cup of ice and you are able to make it yourself. The coffee itself is also chilled so it doesn’t immediately melt the ice. Overall, very satisfied.

Since I was staying here we decided to try this place for breakfast. This place isn’t bad and the prices are very reasonable to be inside the casino. I went with the asiago bagel toasted with cream cheese and it was pretty tasty. It didn’t take long to get my bagel either which was good since I was hungry.

Sad Einstein Bagels in a dilapidated food court. The coffee was fine — there were 3 or 4 flavors to pick from, including Vanilla Hazelnut. The breakfast sandwich was something awful, for $ 5.95, I would’ve expected better, but I was wrong. I ordered the egg white turkey sausage sandwich and when I got it, it was a plain bagel with microwaved egg whites, turkey sausage that tasted like a frozen Jimmy Dean’s patty, cream cheese, a half-melted slice of pepperjack cheese, and then a bunch of salsa thrown on the patty. It looked like someone had thrown up on the sandwich. Also, who combines cream cheese and salsa together on an egg sandwich. It looked like someone was trying to use up the leftovers of their fridge + some frozen items. Seriously not impressed for $ 6, and then I had a bit of a stomachache. Next time, I’ll pop over to Junior’s for breakfast or go the safe route and do the basic bagel + cream cheese.

Yay another food option at Foxwoods. It’s a walk from the poker room… a long, long walk where I remind myself that this is a healthier food option and not only because of the walk. Whoops is that bacon on my sandwich? Guess I won’t be taking a cab back.
