Unity Village

My mom works here & it’s such a beautiful place!!! I cannot wait to get my maternity pictures done here. It’s a real gem. if you’ve never been I highly recommend making an afternoon of it. Walking around smelling the flowers an admiring the architectural side of Unity will be well worth the visit, I promise.

Sis and I spent some time this morning having lattes and egg and veggie muffins at the Unity Village Bookstore and Coffee Shop. Then we browsed through the lovely gift shop selections and I discovered a great spot for finding a unique gift for a friend or maybe just for myself. There are many unusual and lovely things that I have seldom seen in other stores in the area, if you happen to be looking for something different.
There are items in every price range and for many different interests and tastes. These include sun catchers, wind chimes, lovely scarves and tote bags, tabletop water fountains, singing bowls, Angel and fairy statues, greeting and note cards, jewelry and a lot more. There is also a large selection of spiritual books and CDs.
I was told that they are open daily Monday thru Thursday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. But they are closed on Holidays.
They offer a few other light snacks, including bagels, sandwiches and baked goods, as well as coffee, tea, sodas and fruit smoothies.
Now that I know what a nice gift shop is there, I will be back.
