I went to meet with a good friend of mine to share a special day with her for a dress fitting. I just happened to get there early and what I experienced before she arrived and during our visit was not pleasant. I was not greeted when I walked in. Although it was obvious to the employees I was sitting by myself at a table since no one asked to help me. I even got up at one point to peek around to see if my friend was there yet. I also sat and watched others being helped in front of me. even one person of which was seated and given paperwork to fill out. When my friend. The bride to be arrived. she was not greeted either and waited just as I did. Also not given paperwork. The… I suppose manager if the store finally woke up and realized were there… finally gave her paperwork to fill out and then had the nerve to question her about the fact that she was interested in a Grey wedding dress. As if no one ever got married in a dress other than white before. Keep in mind this friend had a scheduled appt. And found this dress in her book on the table. I swear this scene could have been taken from Pretty Women when the snotty lady at the fancy store wouldn’t help Julia Roberts. This would describe the manager with the dark hair. whatever her name was. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately. When we were finally helped… not only were they not helpful. they didn’t bother to even lift a finger to help us. no help with the fitting itself. and then she had the nerve to go help other customers and even sat down with them at a table for a whole rendition of whatever they had going on with them. completely ignoring us. who she had an appt. With and only spent 5 minutes with us. All the group had to help get the dresses because the employees in the store were useless. In addition… Oh Yes There Is more. When I Asked If She Had A DIFFERENT Size In A Dress She Was INTERESTED in. She Got SNAPPy. And SAID she has only has one dress of each kind and one size. And it would take like 5 to 6 months to order the size. Oh. And it was a big inconvenience for her to be bothered helping others when it was us she had the appt with. Let me say she probably would have sold this dress to my friend because she absolutely loved this dress. but due to the lack of assistance. The rudeness.and non observant employees. we ended up leaving. Went to David’s Bridal in Lenexa KS. I would strongly recommend them… they were very helpful and SHESAIDYESTOTHEDRESSANDBOUGHTIT. I would steer clear of this Geri’s Expressions. HORRIBLESERVICE… If I was the bride to be just would have been even madder than I already am. Thank goodness for a Davids Bridal saving the day. I hope this other place loses her business because her customer service skills sucks.

I called to ask about the price of a dress in the window and the lady who identified herself as Geri, the owner was super rude. I am all about buying local however I have no problem driving elsewhere to get better costumer service. I would avoid this place if you enjoy good customer service.

Went in the store on a whim. I’ve been wanting to see a blush dress in person so I thought this would be my chance. Took awhile for them to help us but eventually they bring out the only blush dress they have in the store. It was a 100% not my style and what I would call pink, not blush. The sales people weren’t horrible but did attempt to sell us this dress, clearly just trying to unload it. Bothered me as I was upfront and said all I wanted to do was see a blush dress in person. I then asked how it would go if I wanted to see a blush dress in person, they offered no suggestions/solutions. Their only answer was to order/buy one. In general it wasn’t a great visit and instead let me know one place I can mark off my list when I am ready to order the dress.
