Oh my god! Where has this place been all of my life?! Im so late! Yogurtini was exceptionally good and the guy behind the counter was super friendly. I loved it! Will return very soon.

I only walked in because it was hot outside and the thought of a frozen treat was enticing. The location is huge and there are a lot of yogurt choices and toppings to match. I had a peanut butter Carmel and chocolate yogurt with mini peanut butter cups on top. 3.50 was the total. It was tasty and the owner/worker was nice.

I am addicted to this place. It is real yogurt with the cultures. The texture is smooth and the flavor is high quality. The owner and his son are very nice and if able, greet you eith an enthusiastic, «Welcome to Yogurtini!» I have always found the entire place, including the restroom, to be spic n Span. The dulce de Leche and ultimate choc are my favorite flavors and taste great together. Because it is fat free or nearly so, I don’t put on weight eating here.

It’s just good old frozen yogurt, the same stuff that TCBY made trendy back in the 80s only now they make you get your own and you pay by the ounce. I liked the ducle de leche flavor. Be careful, its easy to get way more than you would normally eat, especially if you mix flavors. I still prefer Sheridan’s but this is a good alternative and perhaps a bit healthier as well.

I am always surprised they don’t ask me to leave for taking too many free samples :-) This is a favorite of mine. I feel like I should go to confession after eating here because there is something sinful about having so many good toppings to choose from. I am usually able to keep my total around $ 3.00 but it would be easy to go over that with so much to choose from. The frozen yogurt is no fat and low calorie but the toppings are where you can get in trouble. They do have very healthy topping choices for those who want them but I don’t think my Kit-Kat, Heath Bar and Cashews fall into that category.

Last time I checked, letting an employee wear flip-flops while working around food is a health-code violation. …and since we didn’t get a greeting upon entering from the flip-flop wearing employee nor the manager on duty, I took a picture of the shoe wearing issue. {see photo}

So typically I hate these self-serve, by the ounce, yogurt places. I mean they are just everywhere and they are all the same and I prefer ice cream. Anyway, I was convinced to go here by my co-workers for lunch(it was either that or eat alone, which I didnt want). Frozen Yogurt for lunch? Dont judge. Its a Friday. Of all the fro-yo places in KC I’ve tried to date I must say that Yogurtini was probably the best. It tasted more like ice cream rather than frozen yogurt. They also had a nice mix of topping choices ranging from several fruits, candy bars, and all the other unhealthy things to put on top of «healthy» frozen yogurt. The store was very clean and tidy(but I think we were the first ones there for the day). I must say one pet peeve was that when I paid he shorted me some change(no idea if it was by accident or not). Ok ok it was just a penny but still… it could have been more. I didn’t even realize until I got back to work. Its the principle of the matter.

It’s alright. Frozen yogurt with dozens of toppings to cover it. Noisy inside and feels like an elementary school cafeteria. Maybe I just don’t care that much about ice cream, I mean frozen yogurt.

WOW! I love this place. The kids go crazy with more toppings than frozen yogurt and I can get the angel food cake with fresh berries and feel a little better about my dessert. We have been on a role and have been here 3 times in 2 weeks. We can’t get enough!

I enjoy that this place is nearby my house, and go there often(Hi, Yogurtini employees, I’m the girl in the gym clothes, because going for frozen yogurt after the gym is ALWAYS a good idea). The good: –Usually spotless(this may be in part because it’s a location that seems to attract fewer of the age 8 and under, topping-scattering, syrup squeezing set) –Really good selection of toppings, and all are well-labeled. –They list the flavors in stock on placards at the head of the line, so you don’t have to wait till you get up to the dispensing stations to do a quick inventory and make your choice. –They also have placards with different«recipes» and combinations — and I’ve tried some of these, and not been disappointed. –I like the pump dispensers of different syrup toppings… neater than squeeze bottles — one question… can they get one with Nutella?. ***EDIT, 12÷30÷11 — was bemused to see, when going in tonight for the first time in a while, that they do, in fact, now have Nutella! ;) Unilocal works, folks! *** –The employees ALWAYS greet you… and not in an obnoxious, Gates BBQ way, either… very nicely. –Love those egg cup-shaped stools that make me feel like I’m in the bottom 3 on American Idol. –I like the setting… people on Unilocal seem to want to make crap out of the Summit Fair location, but I actually think it’s nicely done, as malls go, and have been glad to see it consistently getting more foot traffic. The not as good: –Lately when I’ve been there, they seem to have had a LOT of the dispensers out/not working. I also would like it if they rotated the flavors a little more frequently.

So happy they’re finally in Lee’s Summit. We go to the one on Main by the library but this is so close to my house. It is always bright, clean, and packed! I can get as much or as little as I like. With about 4 different toppings and my all favorite Nutella, I pay 2 – 4 dollars depending on how much I splurged. I also love the fact that the calorie content and fat content are readily available. I would like sugar content too but I guess nobody is perfect. The concept is genius but nothing new. I think the owners of the franchise will be raking in the dough pretty soon when it gets warm. Well, now that I thought about this, I am going there today! Ha, ha! Excellent light desert to a dinner. :)

Charging by the ounce. A concept that is brilliantly simple and hopefully profitable. I’ve been here with my family a few times and have found it to be a delightful experience. On one occasion, my wife and I ate frozen yogurt in front of our 2 boys because they did nothing but whine and complain during dinner. Not only did they not finish their food, but they made sure the whole experience was annoying for all parties. Needless to say, this was one of the more delicious bowls of frozen yogurt I’ve had, which might highlight a dark side of my personality. Don’t turn me in to the authorities for depriving my children of frozen yogurt, because I think the message was clear. Now we can say, «Hey boys, we’ll go out to Yogurtini if we have a good dinner,» and they’ll know we mean business. This place is going to have a soaring business once it gets a little warmer. It’s a good sign when business is fine during winter. Let this be a lesson for businesses: offer a good product at a fair and predictable price in a nice atmosphere and you won’t be boarding up your doors after 2 – 3 slow months. I’m talking to you other Summit Fair businesses that failed. Okay, in retrospect, they probably don’t need my snarky advice. My apologies. I miss you all dearly. Getting back to the by-the-ounce policy, I can’t help but wrack my brain trying to decide what toppings weigh the least. If only I hadn’t been raised in a thrifty family with 6 kids I might be able to serve the toppings I want without thinking, «Oh no, these cheesecake pieces are awfully heavy.» – Heavy cheesecake pieces. This is what consumes my brain. Clearly I need a refreshing serving of frozen yogurt to help me forget my cares and worries. For the record, I’ve put cheesecake pieces on every time. I’m a big spender like that.
