Took awhile to get seated since all the tables were dirty. Took awhile to get our order taken. Took awhile to get our food. To get our check. To pay. Omelette was extremely undercooked with hair in it. I was just passing through, so I doubt I’ll go here again anyways. But it really did take forever. Staff seemed nice, just. not on the ball.

No trip would be complete without a stop at Friendly’s. Sure, it is like Denny’s, but it is so much more to me since I can get ice cream AND clam strips!

I’ve been to this friendly’s 3 times and every single time it takes forever to get our food. So the last time I went, I ordered a salad and it took 45 minutes to come out. Never going there again.

I usually have great service at friendly s like the one in Clifton park NY but this one had horrible service and the food to match plus it cost a fortune could have gone to a good reasteraunt and then to Ben and Jerry’s for less and not waited an hour for bad food why the different standards at different stores?? stay away untill the management straighten s it out

This was my first visit to a Friendly’s in a year or two since I had moved out of the region. After reading the other reviews for the place, I had mixed feelings about eating there. I should have listened to my gut feelings and gone someplace else. The food was passable, the service was marginal. Although it is easy to blame the waitress and the kitchen staff for the issue, in the end the manager sets the tone of the operation. It is a shame to see these regional chains closing one by one, but with that type of restaurant management I can see why traffic in the restaurants of this particular chain is dropping off. What was sort of surprising is the on table kiosks that could be used for ordering food, etc. Although this is a convenience for the operation, these kiosks serve to further separate the waitstaff from the patrons. Bad idea, Friendly’s!

Today I went for breakfast at Friendly’s in Lee, MA& had the the big 2 with bacon 2 eggs, and toast. I loved it. Others had pancakes & French toast & they were also delicious. The service was great & place clean. The coffee was delicious. I would recommend this place to others for breakfast.

How often do you get a dish that looks just like the pretty photo in the menu? We had the best lunch — lobster rolls with fries and cole slaw. Absolutely hit the spot. Service was great — attentive and friendly, just like the old days. We had hot fudge sundaes for dessert, and waddled out pretty happy. I notice that some other Friendly’s have closed throughout the region. We certainly hope this little«flagship» in Lee continues to thrive. Best Friendly’s in the Berkshires!

Friendly’s food is Friendly’s food– it doesn’t seem to matter much which Friendly’s you visit, the food tastes pretty much the same. I can’t say my red pepper chicken sandwich was particularly tasty, and I suspect that’s probably much more of a problem with the menu item itself than the cook behind the counter. I will note this location was especially skimpy on the fries. Long gone are the days of a plate full of seemingly endless fries. Oh, well. Service here was attentive and pretty quick, and all folks working there were pretty friendly. This Friendly’s had a better vibe than other ones I’ve been to recently, where you can kind of sense that the company is at death’s door. Plus, it’s right off the pike. I’d go back.

Waited forever. Finally sat down, waited again. Trying really hard not to be a jaded manhattanite, but we watched a table near us sit with trash on it without being cleared for 52 minutes while people waited. I timed it because every aspect of service took way too long. Love Friendly’s, just not this one.

Visited today for lunch — roughly 1:30ish. Did not seem overly busy for that time of day but overly busy for the understaffed restaurant. After standing by the door cluelessly without a sign whether or not to wait to be seated we sat at a random booth half way around the restaurant. We were greeted kindly by a female waitress. Very attentive & kind. We order all at once due to lack of servers(we scouted the menu ahead of time) Food — was spot on appetizer — they didn’t have waffle fries??? I hear all the rave reviews about their fries & they are out!@!!! we got chicken ques, cheeseburgers, & mozz sticks — awesome! menu — chicken tenders — with fries & coleslaw — great Wait was rather long, service was good when it was around, clean overall. we would recommend!

Service is terrible. Tables rarely get cleared and people wait for long periods of time to even be acknowledged before being sat.

Not bad given the location. The layout of the restaurant is rather odd, but the staff try hard and the food is the usual quick serve restaurant fare. On a side note, I hadn’t been to a Friendly’s in years and was pleasently surprised by their menu changes.

If you enjoy Friendly’s, you will probably enjoy Friendly’s. The waitress(who was friendly) took my girlfriend’s plate while she yet had five or so fries left; that accounts for the missing fifth star. We’re vegetarians, but figured out that the Boca burgers are all really great. The manager was also super friendly. The peanut butter lava cake was amazing.
