I’m boycotting Hobby Lobby, not because of its prices or the quality of its products, but because I’m very disturbed by their lawsuit attempting to deny women access to some forms of birth control. Birth control is not the business their in. They need to stay out of their employees’ bedrooms.

This is the new and improved Hobby Lobby in the area, as the old one on 291 and Langsford closed in the fall of 2011 and — as if overnight — a new location opened in the old Hen House facility a mile north on 291. Though I am a huge fan of the Hobby Lobby in Independence by Bass Pro Shop, this one is nearly just as good and big. I love this store for lots of reasons: great location, lots of parking, CLEAN facility, nice-ish staff, and TONS and tons of craft, art, home décor, holiday, and fabric items, most of which are usually 40% off(or you can always use a Hobby Lobby coupon code found on their website). I am especially fond of their jewelry, cake, and fabric selections and make a point to shop here before other similar stores(Michael’s and JoAnn). You can’t help but leave feeling inspired and like you got your money’s worth.
