I saw the reviews on Unilocal and I decided to give them a try. I called my order in for a Pastrami and Cheese and wow! It was a great sandwich and I fully intend on making it a regular lunch choice.

Not a fan. Seating upstairs felt like we were hanging out somewhere we shouldn’t be. Parking is really tricky. The food was just so-so

Wow!!! The pineapple upside down pancakes are a gourmet version of my grandmas upside down cake. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve ever had and can’t wait to try the other breakfast items. This food makes you feel spoiled. The salad and sandwich are a must stop or if you’re lucky enough to have the food truck nearby. You will definitely crave Pittsburgh Rick’s!

I ate at one of the Primanti brothers locations about six weeks ago and ordered the same sandwich for comparison. I think this one was better. It seemed a little more moist and flavorful. This place rocks if you want to overindulge.

I am a Pittsburgh native and have lived in Va for the past 15 years. I recently heard of this place and was so excited to check it out. When we visit the Burg, Primanti Bros. is always on our to-do list. Myself and family are so happy to have a taste of home so close by now, AND the best part is that you can order a cold I.C.Light to drink!!! I’m saddened that I discovered this treasure after football season but am looking forward to watching a few games with other die hard Steeler fans like myself next year. Roberto was very attentive and welcoming. Thank you Pittsburgh Rick! We will DEFINATELY be back, especially because I woke up craving the half of my giant sandwich from last night only to discover my son forgot to pick up the to go box

First time here, WOW! Never had a sandwich with fries and tart, vinegar coleslaw on it but am now hooked. And don’t get me started on the brownie, it was the size of a brick with ooey gooey goodness in the middle.

Rick was in the house and he’s a super nice guy. They even have Iron City cans. Go, team. Upstairs seating with sports TV was perfect on a dark night. Had a roast beef with fries and slaw on it and some standard white bread. Really quite tasty and right from the ‘burgh. Bread was a bit thin and mushy, but the sandwich hit the spot. Just get lots of napkins! Went well with an Old Ox since I’m not an IC fan!

Heard about this place from great friends. Place is conveniently located in downtown Leesburg. Many sandwiches to order from. The sandwiches are like Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh(with French Fries added in the sandwich). I had the pastrami with cole slaw and with the waiter’s recommendation I added an egg. Great sandwich!!! My wife had the Fish and Chips sandwich which was also excellent. Plenty of room in the dining room area. But come early for lunch or dinner as the place fills up quick. I highly recommend. I will defintely be coming back for more(sandwiches)!!!

Came here for the 1st time for dinner. I got the pastrami sandwich. Based on pictures people have put on here, I got a fraction of the pastrami they did and twice as many fries. I don’t know if that’s because I got there 45 minutes before they closed, but all I tasted were fries. I couldn’t taste any pastrami until I removed 75% of the fries(I’ll post a picture). If I had gotten the amount of pastrami as the pictures on Unilocal,it would have been a good sandwich. Everything worked together once I balanced the flavors. I’m just disappointed that I got so little meat and so much starch. It killed the sandwich. Since I live in Reston, I don’t get to Leesburg too often, so I don’t know if I’ll eat here again or not. I’m on the fence about this place.

The sandwiches are VERY tasty my only complaint is that the bread gets soggy due to all of the toppings that can get a bit greasy. If the bread was different, or maybe toasted… Maybe it’s just me, but soggy bread is very off putting.

The first time my husband and I tried Pittsburgh Rick’s was when their food truck was at the Reston Town Center Octoberfest. We were extremely pleased with the sandwiches and vowed to find the food truck at a later date to have more. Imagine our surprise and great delight to find out they had a brick and mortar location! So far, we have tried the pastrami sandwich, chipotle chicken, kielbasa with cheese, and the Pittsburger. All of which have been truly amazing. My husband really enjoyed the pastrami sandwich and I highly recommend the kielbasa with cheese. Even my toddler enjoyed eating this one! These sandwiches are served on thick slices of white bread with meat, fries, tomatoes and wonderfully sweet coleslaw. The sandwiches are HUGE, these are two-hander sandwiches! We also ordered the Pittsburgh fries, which were rather enjoyable. They come covered in chili(tomato sauce and chunked up yummy meatballs), melted cheese, and bacon! Very decadent. Also, the fries here are cooked to perfection. Most places just put in minimum effort and hand over limp, soggy fries, or overly crunchy ones. But these had the right mix of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We will definitely be back. This is our new go to spot in Leesburg!

Blah… too bland. I got steak and cheese. It is way to bland. All I taste is the oil from the fries. I do like the combination of everything but it is missing some type of sauce. Maybe Mayo? This is the worst sandwich I have ever had.

I would give this a just«OK». My grilled cheese was anything but cheeses. Bread dry, small serving of fries. I won’t be back.

This place is amazing. Our first experience was for dinner and their sandwiches were SO good! In fact, they were so good that we decided to return the next day for breakfast. My whole family loved it(that includes 2 kids… one of which is super picky). We had French toast, pineapple upside down pancakes and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. All were delicious and we can’t wait to go back!

WOW! I had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had here the other day! Chicken, cheese, coleslaw and french fries — who knew?!? Plus, the BBQ sauce at the table topped it off wonderfully! The bread didn’t get soggy and it was surprisingly not hard to eat. The place is super tiny and the parking was a bit of a challenge but the food is worth it. One thing I would say could be improved is the cleanliness of the tables. It didn’t seem like the staff was too concerned with clearing tables and it wasn’t that busy.

The sandwiches were pretty good. My wife and I both had the pastrami and it had a good flavor, the bread was excellent and fresh, and the coleslaw on the sandwiches was very good. The fries are horribly greasy! I ordered a side of fries to go as well. They were given to me in a plastic container with a top on it. The bottom of the container had a small pool of grease and the fries were very soggy and flavorless. After being in the plastic container with a top on, they weren’t good at all. Parking for this place SUCKS!!! Unless you work at the Loudoun County Government Center or some place else in downtown Leesburg, parking is an absolute nightmare. I finally found a spot after driving around for 10 minutes. The parking situation has to hurt their business. If they had a better location, with parking, and stopped putting their fries in plastic containers with a top on, they would probably be making money hand over fist. I would go back, but only if I had a parking place in downtown Leesburg while I was there for something else.

Came for dinner after buying a groupon and had the pastrami w/cheese and a toasted marshmallow milk shake and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich and we ordered a pickle to share. I was taken back by how good all of the flavors worked on the pastrami and cheese. I was slightly disappointed with the amount of grease coming off of it and the small amount of meat. I looked through the pictures on Unilocal and it appears that they just aren’t very consistent with how much meat they put on or some people asked for extra meat. Nevertheless it was a pretty cool place and the sandwich was still pretty enjoyable. There are tons of TVs upstairs, large beer selection, clean and quiet atmosphere. I’ll be back again with or without another groupon.

I bought a Groupon for this place and although the first visit was terrible(we went an hour before their stated closing time, they were closed and the guy inside looked at us and then disappeared into the kitchen), we gave it another try since we have the coupon. So, all is forgiven because the food was off the hook. My pastrami sandwich was juicy, the slaw had the right amount of seasoning and the hand cut fries were delicious. The bread was hearty and supported the content of the sandwich very well so it held together so you can enjoy it till the last bite. Not only that, we ate on the little balcony and the service was excellent, friendly and prompt. I’m more of a NY deli sandwich guy but I can get used to the Pittsburgh style!

If you’re a fan of Primanti Brothers, this place will please you. They serve a perfectly cromulent clone of what PB offers, plus some other nice plusses. I had a breakfast sandwich. It was good. Coffee was excellent too. Bad coffee usually merits a 1 star rating. Atmosphere is pleasant and staff is very polite and accommodating. It’s worth a visit.

Yummy! I got the«Pittsburgher» and it was really good. I thought the slaw and fries on the burger went really well together! It is a vinegar dressing slaw, not mayo dressing so the vinegar taste goes really well with the fries. I didn’t order anything else but my husband liked his Cajun chicken sandwich and my friend liked her turkey sandwich. Overall a really good place. Just be warned the sandwiches are a little messy to eat. You’ll need napkins :)
