ResQ BBQ Catering

Oh my goodness, this was some of the best barbecue ever. We hired ResQ BBQ to cater our wedding, and it was probably one of the best decisions we made. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was thrilled at not having to eat the wedding staples: pre-​cooked chicken, steak, or fish. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, as well as the «three-​alarm» bbq deal with chicken, pulled pork and brisket. The food was served piping hot (and we had a chilly rainy wedding day, so this was critical), the mac&cheese should probably be illegal it’s so good, and the service was perfect. I didn’t get to sample the appetizers, but from what I gather, people enjoyed those as well. We wanted to do something different, and our guests liked the food so much they went back for seconds, and some thirds. People literally cleaned their plates. If you’re looking to break away from the standard wedding foods and want to serve something that your guests will actually be excited to eat, this is the vendor for you! If you’re just craving some awesome barbecue, then definitely look this place up. You will not be disappointed! Chuck, the owner, was awesome and such a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend ResQ BBQ highly enough!!!

Full disclosure — I am from NC and a HARSH critic of anyone that advertises pulled pork BBQ sandwiches with Carolina sauce. This was actually good enough that I would have it again. My only complaint is that it is pre-​assembled in foil. The bun was coated with grease from the BBQ. Neither attractive nor appetizing. It made the bun soggy and altered the taste of the sandwich. Price is ok for this kind of venue. I will try it again at a food truck … maybe it will made up fresh. The sauce was good … for not being in NC! The coleslaw was kind of dry.

Pulled pork is the best in Leesburg! Sides were terrific, atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.

We love ResQ BBQ! I hired them to cater my sons’ Cub Scouts Blue & Gold event for 200. They quickly responded to all emails (including those from other parents regarding allergy and dietary concerns). We had the pulled pork, pulled chicken, smoked mac and cheese (OMG!) and both bacon and vegetarian beans. Everything was delicious! They gave us a great price and everyone commented on how great the food was. You won’t be disappointed if you use them!

This place is the real deal. We had my Dad’s surprise birthday catered by Chuck of ResQ BBQ. He was great to work with — was able to compile a menu of options based on the number of guests and our preferred dishes. Everything came hot, and they set it up within minutes. The food was AMAZING! I highly recommend the ribs, slaw and Brisket. We cannot wait to use ResQ again for our next party. I would without hesitation recommend that you use this place!
