Went shoe shopping with my daughter. She loves this store and is always able to find something on sale. She found a cool pair on clearance for $ 14. I decided to get a pair for myself, but was floored by their new prices for low top All Stars. $ 49.99. Now I like the style and the brand, but $ 50 for canvas sneakers is ridiculous. I felt better because I had a $ 5 coupon they sent me in an email. That was until they wouldn’t accept the coupon because it didn’t have a code on it. That is what they sent me. Not my fault that they didn’t put a code on the coupon. The clerk even commented to me that this recent price increase was a bit much and that I should send my comments in a survey to Converse. Well long story short, I got my low top All Stars, but at Famous Footwear instead. Found them there, in the same shopping center, for $ 42. We will continue to shop here, but this visit wasn’t our best one.

I’m convinced«Buy One Get One 50% off» is the biggest retail swindle of our time. I wouldn’t even get out of bed for 25% but for some reason seeing it phrased as BOGO ½off still makes me think I’m getting a good deal. On any note, that was the«sale» at Converse and I took the bait. I gave 4 stars because the employees were really friendly and the outlet has an amazing selection. I’m a huge classic Chuck Taylor fan(no heels or knee high craziness) and they have tons of colors and full size runs. White Chucks are my fave and while I don’t mind the scuffed/dogged look, they do need to be replaced fairly often so I’ll definitely be back, hopefully during a «40% bonanza» or something more worth my while than BOGO ½ off aka measly 25% discount

If you haven’t already known, I’m a huge Converse collector. This particular location usually has a good selection in terms of variety, but limited in terms of sizes. On lucky days, you can really score some great unique sneakers/collaborations(Marimekko)/recent models that were released just this past season. Usually, they have ‘Buy One, Get One 50% off,’ but today, they were having all Clearance shoes an additional 40% off — this rarely happens, as with this deal, you don’t have to force yourself in finding multiple pairs to get the discount. I actually walked away with 5 pairs today, so I was a happy camper! :D The SAs were not helpful, as I love the guys over at the Tanger Outlets in National Harbor — here, the SAs might ask you if you need help, but they really don’t check in terms of their stock and the availability of sizes — I just wished they put more of an effort in locating specific pairs for you! I do love Tyler up at the front, though — he was very friendly and professional, and made the check-out process a breeze. +ask for Tyler: D +unhelpful SAs in terms of sizes/styles look-up

Came in the brose the children’s shoes for my nephew and daughter. The staff were extra nice and helpful. They had an additional 40% clearance she’s and a ton of stock. We were able to get 4 pair of children’s shoes for $ 60.

They are the most organized shoe store in the outlet that I’ve seen. They were very attentive and not overbearing. Excellent employees.

Where is the expensive inverse to this Converse universe? It’s been years between visits, but while in the hood I decided to make a special trip in search of some new kicks. How can a simple and classic shoe, made from the most basic materials, be worth this much? Better yet– how can an outlet store sell these cheaply made shoes for this much dough? Hmm. The buy one/get one @ 50% sale was tempting indeed. I found a pair of shoes but struggled to find another pair worth coughing up the cash for. The variety of product is pretty decent, but the variety of prices leans more towards the MSRP. Too bad I walked out empty handed. Shucks Chucks.

I shopped at the Converse Outlet Store in Leesburg for a pair of school shoes for my son. Not one associate asked if I needed any help, and they all complained about the customers throughout my visit. Not to mention they were out-of-stock of the Chuck Taylor Hightops, What? Or that is what the associate said because as many times as I asked her to check for a size she had memorized how many sizes they had in the back, and they were out of everything. I purchased a pair of shoes from a rude associate and thought I would not return again. But, my son did not like the shoes so I went back thinking I could not have two bad experiences there. Wrong! The associate who took my return was even worse. Did not say hi, did not ask if he could help. Grabbed my shoes and said. «give me your card» then turned to his associate and said, «these customers are bothering me, it is so dead in here and I am ready to leave.» He then laid the receipt on the counter and walked away. I left, went to Adidas and received way better service and better prices and my son found a pair of shoes he is really happy with. Converse needs some serious lessons in customer service.

I was surprised to see a Converse store @ the outlet. They have a decent selection of shoes though the prices are closer to mall prices than outlet stores.

So the Leesburg Outlets now has a Converse store. There were more converse shoes(high tops, low tops, all sorts of colors, sparkles, designs you name it!!) than you can imagine at a slightly lower price than retail. They also sell clothing as well. The store was pretty new as I was told by a sales consultant. The sales consultants were not very familar with toddler shoe sizing, but they were very friendly.
