Best BBQ in Virginia!!! The prices are very reasonable as well! I wish they had a store/restaurant so that they were around all year

What a fortuitous find! Texas style brisket on the side of the highway in Loudon County, VA! The brisket was terrific and the two guys cooking it up were very nice. We stopped at this place on the return trip from MD to VA. Well worth the stop. No seating so expect to eat standing or in your vehicle. It won’t matter since your taste buds will have bids on your brain capacity. Visit this place. You won’t just be eating delicious food, you’ll be supporting a local business.

I tried the brisket sandwich combo(sides: Mac and cheese and fries). Great sandwich, tender brisket and a nice vinegar sauce. Fries were cut to order, and Mac was tasty.

I’ve driven by here numerous times but never stopped. The sign of «Fresh Cut Fries» made me do a U-turn today! As soon as I opened my car door, the smell of smoked BBQ was mouth watering. I ordered the pulled pork with the Kansas City style sauce and fresh cut fries. The first, second, third and eighth bite were AMAZING! I literally inhaled it! The freshly baked bun was perfectly portioned with the pulled pork and BBQ sauce. If there was anymore sauce, it would’ve been too savory. I was having high hopes for the fries since this was the main reason I stopped. What a disappointment! BUT, I realized AFTER I threw out the fries they had various seasonings… old bay, salt, vinegar, ketchup and mustard. Oops! Their menu offers traditional southern BBQ and fixins… pulled pork, ribs, brisket, smoked chicken, mac + cheese, slaw, baked beans and corn bread… with 5 various sauces to choose from. The guys cooking/serving have proper southern manners… polite greetings and farewells as well as please and thank you’s. Food trucks are the key to my heart! I’ll be stopping again the next time through!
