I stopped in here to grab a sub to go — went with the 8″ Italian sub — three kinds of meat, cheese, onion, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo — I asked for hot peppers — but not sure what they actually put on it as I could not detect hot peppers. While I was waiting for the sub to be made, I asked where the restroom was. The other guy got up and handed me a key attached to a piece of wood and directed me outside. It was a hot day outside and this restroom had zero air conditioning or even ventilation that I could detect. It was disgustingly hot in that restroom — I will never step foot in there again. As far as the sub goes, it was very average. I prefer subs that have that crunchy sub bread. This was all soft and doughy. There are tables inside to sit and eat at — but the air conditioning in this place appears to not work. It was very warm inside, bordering on hot. There are also tables outside to sit and eat — but it was a hot and humid day, so I ate in the car.

I order the Breaded Old Bay Wings fairly often. Love the chicken and the price. You do have to plan ahead and out think them, they try to finish while you are there so it’s piping hot. This may present a problem if you are say, on a schedule like a specific lunch time. I tell them a pick up time ten minutes earlier than I need and then just show up regular time. The only reason I dropped a star is because of wait times, the food has been very good.

Decent tasting chicken but puny in size. The batter is light, crispy, the chicken is tender, and not too greasy. The biscuit is light and fluffy and compliments the chicken. Deli on the Rocks serves decent fried chicken for that craving while out on a ride. The only knock is that the pieces are on the small size and could definitely be larger.

I think the pizza and wings are pretty good. I think this place is still solid for a quick bite to eat, especially in an area where there aren’t many other options.

Looks like a hole in the wall, GREATPIZZA. The customer service was great as well. Do not sell this place short based on looks, it is a serious gem.

There is no food selection in Point of Rocks. It’s either this or Aroma House for food. The only real reason to come here is if you were on the Potomac hiking, fishing, or biking or driving up 15 and starving. Deli On the Rocks is like a gas station, but without gas. It sells all the packaged food that a gas station sells, but they also have a kitchen that serves fried chicken, fried fish, burrito bowl, sandwiches, and fries. The food’s tasty and the portions are nice. Deli On the Rocks is quite spacious, but they have very limited seating. Point of Rocks is just a slower pace of life. City slickers won’t understand this lovely, quaint town. I like to come out to Point of Rocks when I want to escape people.

Came here for breakfast sandwich on a Thursday morning sign said they were closed and would open at 10… On the website it says eight and on their to go menu it says open seven days a week 7AM to 8:30PM they need to figure this out!

I’m in VA(about 10 minutes from this place) and finally gave this a try due to the fact that it’s one of the places that deliver. BLT and bacon pizza were made with processed fake bacon. The menu talks about«fresh cut» fries… not even close with obvious frozen fried. Pizza was pretty gross and obviously pre frozen(not fresh dough) crust and thrown together ingredients. But I saved the best for last… I mentioned I am 10 minutes from this place and was told when ordering that it may take 45 minutes. It took them a full 1 ½ hours to bring my delivery. If I knew that I would have driven to pick it up. Either way I now know the quality of this food and won’t have to worry about delivery time because I won’t be ordering from here ever again. Skip it, trust me.

Its better than Aroma House, but menu is waaaay too large for them. Pizza is good but you can taste that they dont clean the oven as well as they should as the pizza has a slight burnt taste without being actually burnt. Had wings too, but could use some definite improvement. They didnt properly drain the wings before putting them in the container leaving a pool of grease and breading soggy. I would like them to make their menu smaller and concentrate on quality, not quantity. They should specialize and people would flock their in droves. Also, they should be at Art at the Point, the once-a-year, art fest! Build a rapport with the community!

Doesn’t look like much fro outside but food was fresh and tasty. Perfect lunch after a hike at sugarloaf before hitting the ice cream shop.

Super close to the Canal Trail(less than .25 miles), this place serves up good sandwiches at a reasonable price. I had a roast beef sub that really hit the spot… great bread. Deli On the Rocks is a lunch stop for those leaving from DC in the morning. They also serve good breakfast sandwiches.

Good friendly service but not much in the way of facilities I had a steak and cheese which was pretty good it is worth a try if your driving by they open at 6am so it would be a convent stop for breakfast before going fishing on the river.

I had the chicken wings and my boys split a pizza. The wings could have been larger but were delicious. My boys are super picky about their pizza and both were pleased with the pizza and asked to return to have pizza again. The customer service was great. Nice little place.

This is in the neighborhood and not much choice in the area. But compared to the other restaurant down the road, I much much prefer this place. Started out a little dingy, but in the one year I’ve been frequenting this place(~once a week) they have made gradual cosmetic improvements. There is now seating available, and a tv running constantly. The staff is very friendly and accommodating of special requests. The food is consistent in taste and quality. Have tried and liked in no particular order — Philly cheesesteak, grilled chicken sub, buffalo chicken sub and today, the burrito bowl. Their fried chicken is great, but I do not care for their fries. Overall, I would continue to come here and try more menu items instead of ordering my favorites again.

Update: This place has been taken over by new owners and the food is pretty good now. I prefer the wings here to the restaurant down the street. The pizza is very tasty as well. My wife wasn’t a fan of the meatball sandwich because the menu said it was stuffed with bacon and cheese but it wasn’t. Look forward to trying more things here. The food is light years better than it was under the last owners.

We stopped there one night and had a great meal. I had shrimp and fries, they were perfectly cooked and were very tasty! This is a nice little place, huge menu selection. Great for a quick, cheap meal.

Skip this place. Not clean, food is awful. Inside looks like the most run down gas station you could imagine. Really disappointed because this area could really use a nice place to grab a quick bite.
