I called to view a house for rent and she told me the next available viewing would be FIVE days later, which was the following week. I scheduled the appointment. She called me an hour before our appointment to say they accepted an application already, the house was off the market. It gets better… She also told me it takes five business days to process an application(go ask any realtor), so the timing worked out perfectly that she scheduled my viewing as her backup, and my appointment was scheduled the day she’d know if the pending application was accepted or declined. She never told me there was a pending application when we spoke. But the timing works out too perfectly. She completely wasted my time, disrupted my schedule, and strung me along for almost a week probably knowing full well we were never going to view this house. Also, she asked for my email so she could email me the application the day we spoke. That never happened. So she lacks accountability in this regard. In summary, I was her backup plan and misled into thinking I had a chance at this property. I don’t like being used, or someone holding a dangling carrot in front of me. This is unethical and why real estate agents develop a poor reputation. I never had an opportunity to apply because she never sent me the application as promised. I also didn’t have an opportunity to apply because she took the house off the market before she«had time» to show it to me, due to the excessive time between when I called her and when she was«available» to show it. My radar went off initially when she told it would be so long to view the property, but now my suspicions are confirmed **if you read her other reviews, especially the flagged reviews, everything is from October 2013… so I speculate the other Unilocal reviews are fakes.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Loudoun County, VA
Vicky recently helped us sell our home. We hired her after interviewing three agents. Simply put, Vicky helped us avoid making mistakes that would have cost us many thousands of dollars. First of all, her suggested list price was 25K higher than the next agent’s. We ended up selling for even more than that. Vicky hired a stager and photographer whose tips and tricks made our home look amazing in time for the listing and open house. We would never have thought of certain decorating tips to make that little house look a bit bigger. We knew there was a non-urgent roof repair to be done prior to listing, and we were about to spend approx. $ 1400 to fix it but Vicky suggested we wait, disclose it as the contract addendum and see if the buyers would accept the roof as-is. They did! Money saved. The buyers were concerned about an item in the home inspection report which had we hired the wrong contractor to evaluate further, would have been a conflict of interest. Vicky helped us avoid that by bringing in an impartial structural engineer. We will never know if a contractor would have suggested costly repairs, but the structural engineer was able to rule out major issues, averting a contract crisis! So yes, we love that she got us the most money for the house, but it was not just about the money. Vicky was always available by phone, email, or text, and very responsive to messages. Vicky had lots of thoughtful solutions to the various issues that come up throughout this whole process. Vicky is an experienced and knowledgeable professional — not someone who is doing real estate in her spare time to earn easy commission. Vicky really works for it and we miss talking to her every day!
