Alright. So as far as buffets go, they can be questionable. I have to say. This place is great. It is very clean and they make sure the food it out and fresh. Even when the place is packed, they do a great job with their service. I can not say all of this chains restaurants are this way. But this locations is great. The things that I really like here are. Their fried chicken is delicious, they have some good sliced meat options, and their fresh rolls are very good. Most everything tastes good and is fresh. A great place to take the family.

My girlfriend is out of town for the week, which means one whole week of ½ off, lonely dinners! For some reason I decided to start the week with Chuck-A-Rama. Somehow this was my first time eating here, I guess my family was just a Golden Corral family growing up. Anyways, I had a hunger and decided to take it out here. I paid my $ 15 to get in, which included unlimited drinks as well as the food. Then I walked into the buffet. I was surprised at how small it was. I kept thinking I was missing a room full of more food. The seating is all off in other small rooms as well. It felt really crowded and closed off. I honestly don’t really care what your décor looks like, as long as it’s clean, but this place somehow managed to really dated, like it was made in the early 90’s…which is weird for a place that is just a year or two old. It was quite an impressive feat. The important part is the food. I’ve found a good rule of thumb for buffets is to stick with the uncomplicated things that are rarely made wrong. Things like pizza, fries, rolls, scones, and mashed potatoes. Once you start drifting towards the«fancy» stuff you’re in trouble. I tried some sort of fish, it wasn’t good. The texture was really off. I tried some meatballs in mushroom sauce… not great. I tried herb baked chicken and spicy chicken and found too much muscle(or is it tendons? The hard to chew/eat stuff) in both compared to normal chicken. I tried some turkey and some of a roast and they were both pretty dry. However, the drink side of things is excellent. First off, they’ve got Iron Port. That’s a star right there. Then they’ve got Horchata, Pina Colada, multiple juices, and both Coke and Pepsi products. They’ve got ICEE’s, ice cream, and more. They advertise around 30 drinks, it’s great. Desserts were okay. Cookies, puddings, brownies, ice creams, some cakes and such. Nothing earth shattering, but okay. Overall it was a decent trip. Of course like just about all $ 15 buffets I stuffed myself and regretted it on the way out to the car. Stick to the basic stuff and you can’t go wrong… try to stay away from the«fancy» stuff. Enjoy an Iron Port. Or better yet, decide on what type of food you want and eat somewhere dedicated to that food.

Chuck-A-Rama in Lehi is new, clean and has a reasonable selection. There was no pressure to leave. The service was friendly and perfectly balanced, not over or under board. Price was around $ 12/person. I don’t go to buffets often but would return to this location.

Person charged me an additional $ 30 dollars because they typed in the wrong amount. Spent 3 hours trying to figure it out on the phone. The store lost my transaction. They won’t fix the amount. Had to dispute the transaction with the bank. I showed them my credit card statement with the charge and they still didn’t believe me. They never thought to just give me the $ 30 dollars they overcharged me. Obviously never coming back.

Yep it’s a buffet. If you don’t like buffet then you probably won’t like this place. Overall, the food is good, it’s fresh, they have plenty of drinks options and an OK dessert bar. The service has been great at this location so therefore this buffet I believe is as good as it gets.

Chuckarama is a great«Go –To» place for large groups(my family) and celebrations… graduation gatherings, birthdays etc… We love to go to Chuckarama because we are always on different pages when it comes to… «What do you feel like eatng?»… This establishment solves the problem. From fresh veggies… sugar free options, fresh out of the oven rolls and selection of side dishes that compliment the carvers table Roast beef, Turkey & Ham… Trust me Im picky and OCD about cleanliness … Desserts included not just one sometimes 2… Not an intimate romantic dinner out but lots of fun and can accomidatle large grooups on short notice.

As a person with a seasoned palate and an affection for variable tastes, I dined here last Sunday, anticipating a savory meal with all my cravings satisfied and a full stomach! INSTEAD, I left and only 2 hours later with my stomach turning like a piston from a low-oiled engine and my bowels on the brink of requiring a ‘Depends’ undergarment. I called the manager on duty and told me I needed to speak with the district manager, Mike Johansen! I called the very next day and he assured me that he would look into this matter promptly! I indicated to him that due to my having owned my own company for 15 years and having worked with the media, that I understand that no business is perfect and that I ONLY wanted my money back and nothing more. I called back the following day a few times(to NO avail) out of concern as to what it could’ve possibly been because I wanted to know if the food from that day had done this to anyone else. I never got a call back! I called THISMORNING and spoke with Mr. Johansen, as he informs me there were no other complaints from that day! Well, just because someone doesn’t end up in the EMERGENCYROOM, doesn’t mean others didn’t have a similar experience that day! I just happen to be a person that holds someone accountable and if food I consume isn’t agreeable to me, I simply want my money back! MIKEJOHANSEN told me that there’s NOWAY they’re refunding my money for my meal! THIS is not a place I would ever go to again! Feel free to peruse my other reviews showing GOODTHINGS about great businesses! To my dismay, I will never feel comfortable dining at Chuck-A-Rama ever again!

It was a little bit of a wait and I thought they had a bigger selection of food(at least for kids). The food that they do server is really good. Meat is really good and same with the coconut shrimp! I also like the fact that you can get your own drinks and it come with the purchase of the meal. One other thing I like is that the price of the buffet is determined by age. So you pay less for each of the younger ones. The younger they are the cheaper it is.

Brand new and nice, right off the freeway in Lehi makes for a fast sit down dinner! You know what you are getting when you come to a Chuckarama, and this one has plenty! Nice and clean, servers attentive and fast with drinks, plenty of fresh prepped food. Would like to see some better salad bar topping like crumbled bacon, mushrooms and black olives though.
