I don’t understand the bad reviews! reviews for being overpriced are ridiculous unless you shop off of the McDonald’s dollar menu. Overall for the food is good quality and the prices are shockingly low. The fries are wonderful and made from fresh potatoes. So bad reviewers go back to McDonald’s from where you came.

Hmmm. The burgers use actual hand formed hamburger. They toast the bun. It’s seems to be all the right things. It’s local people. I want it to be great. But, the burger is somewhat overcooked. The facility is a little dingy and the lack of people means they are understaffed. It was 12:30 on a Saturday. We were one of 3 tables with people at there. Indeed, as another reviewer noted, the salt shaker top was pretty oily and crusty. The person at the counter forgot our malts until the meal was about done and we asked when we were getting them. The«malts» follow the pattern of actually just being ice cream in a cup with syrup mixed in. The cup is overflowing, so it is placed in a larger cup. I love ice cream, but only found I was willing to eat about half the malt. My wife finished less of hers. All in all, the food was pretty good, but at the same price of Smashburger, I just can’t get excited.

We love this place! Every time we have gone the staff has been really nice and the food is fantastic! I haven’t noticed the cleanliness issues some other reviewers have complained about, so don’t let that deter you. We usually get the burgers and they are great quality for a good price. One of the best places in Utah county to get a cheap lunch/dinner!

Went here on a group outing with some friends who had been before and loved it. Took a while to figure out what I wanted because the menu had no descriptions of what the burgers and sandwiches were. I finally had to ask one of the employees to tell me what was on a few of the sandwiches so I could tell if it was something I wanted. I ended up ordering the Rodeo Burger(I think), which was actually pretty good. I have no complaints about the actual food. My friends raved about their homemade root beer but I tried it and just thought it was kind of… blah? But they also had Pepsi products, which is always ok with me. Everything in the place was just kind of dirty and I was legitimately afraid to touch anything. The fry sauce pump(which was empty) was broken and looked so gross that, had it been full, I probably wouldn’t have even gotten any anyway. The salt shaker on the table had about four layers of grime on it. And I know I tend to be a little OCD about public places but this was a bit much for me. So maybe if you’re interested in trying it out, just get the food to go. The food was good but I wasn’t impressed by too much else.

Excellent service and the food is really carefully prepared. However, I always get stomach pains after eating their food! I believe it’s the grease they use for their fries. However, they’re local to Lehi and are a great asset. I hear their ice cream is amazing!(I don’t eat ice cream)

We’ve been in here twice before, and the location is very close to our house, so when the opportunity came up to purchase a Groupon, we jumped at the chance. It was my husband and myself with our two young children. We ordered a burger, 5 chicken tenders to share, and some sodas, also a hot fudge brownie sundae(which we’ve gotten all 3 times we’ve come). The kid at the counter didn’t know how to read the Groupon so he originally tried to apply $ 10 off instead of $ 20. Then we only got 4 chicken tenders instead of 5(a big deal when we were sharing and my kids were especially hungry). They brought us 3 more to rectify it but the tenders were laden with oil and not that tasty. I liked my burger, but without the lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo, it would have been very dry. The bun was fantastic. As far as the cleanliness goes, they weren’t that crowded(even though it was the last day to use the Groupon — so I was surprised there weren’t more people in there), and still most of the booths were dirty and in dire need of cleaning. There was melted ice cream on more than one table, and napkins shoved between the seat and back cushions. We finally found one that was acceptable. The Pepsi dispenser didn’t work, so I had to settle for Dr. Pepper. I saw only 3 kids running the place, and none of them seemed very competent. The sundae was good, but even that wasn’t what we remembered from our first time in there. My husband noticed the ice cream didn’t seem mixed very well; part of the scoop wasn’t very sweet, so I guess the homemade concept is true. We were disappointed. I don’t think we’d bother coming back.

Stopped in for lunch with my family. I really enjoyed my Avocado Bacon Burger(with fries) and a Carmel Cashew Shake. The others in my party had the chicken fingers(which were just okay — too much coating), Shrimp(very yummy) and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich(also very good). The steak fries were hot and fresh and very good. Prices were reasonable($ 35 for the four of us). Bathrooms were clean as was the whole place. They have TVs(no wireless) and a number of tables and booths — but cannot provide seating for more than about 30. They also serve ice cream — didn’t have any(other than my shake) — looked good for their limited selection. Overall, we enjoyed E’s & E’s — don’t know when our travels will bring us back to Lehi, but if it does, I know where we’ll be going!

As much as I want this place to be good, it just isn’t. The food is okay at best. Nothing stands out. The prices are high and the portions are small. The shakes and ice cream are okay, but you can find better for less.

Took the family for the first time to support a local business. I ordered the Halibut & chips. What I got, for $ 7.99, was a piece of halibut about the size of my little finger. It was not only very small but mostly covered with a thick batter. I complained and they gave me another tiny serving of Halibut. Never get the Halibut. The burgers my family got were OK, but they all said we should have gone to JCW’s. Never going here again!!!

i ordered the double cheeseburger which was cooked great and seemed to be fresh meat not frozen. The fries were good too. Seemed a bit pricey but was well worth it.

I realy wanted to like this place considering it’s a nice little mom and pop shop with friendly owners, but the food just wasn’t that good. Serviceable is how I’d describe it. The burger was okay but the fries were not good at all(think limp).

I don’t know why anyone would go here with all the other great burger options around. Very bland. Overpriced. Slow.

Excellent Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki sandwich! Fresh cut French fries are great! If you have a large appetite you can try the burger or sundae challenge! It’s a family run business, with very friendly service. Nice hidden little gem in a small quaint town!

Stopped in here with my sister to give the place a try. We were really hungry, so everything looked good. The restaurant was such an interesting mixture. It’s clear they’re trying to hop on the, ‘we only use fresh ingredients’ train, but then the ambiance says… mixture between the famous golden arches and small-town hole-in-the-wall hang out. It was sort of confusing. I guess it’s a new place trying to feel like the old place you remember. I went with the mushroom swiss burger, but asked for it with the garlic burger patty. They charged me an extra 50cents more than the higher of the 2 burger prices to combine them. While the burger was pretty tasty and I ate every bite, it wasn’t worth it the extra money. I would just stick with the mushroom swiss. Kudos to them for them for using real cheese. Many a burger has left me disappointed due to the use of that cheese food stuff. One ‘beef’ with the menu(pun intended), everything is priced ‘including fries’. I can see their thinking, but I think it does them a disservice because folks just see the price and feel like it’s super high. And this is something that would keep me from making it a top stop for me because I rarely order fires, because I’m cheap. I wonder if they would discount it if you asked for it without fries… I also tried a regular chocolate caramel shake. It was good. Thick. Creamy. But yes, it was also a bit pricey. My meal was $ 11, which isn’t an obscene amount for a specialty burger, fries and a shake, but it’s more than I would have spent generally, especially if I could have left out the fries. But don’t you worry, I made the most out of it and ate EVERYSINGLEONE.

I really like this place even though they are pricey. We go here and there just for something different. The burger I love is so good with swiss cheese and a grilled pepper across it! It’s not on the menu anymore and I forget the name but I just decribe it to them and they make it for me!

The burgers are pretty good. The fries are ok. The ambiance has a good, clean hometown feel. The halibut in the fish & chips are tiny. They should call them halibut nuggets.

Food is consistently bad, I have been here 4 times now and am always disappointed when I leave. Service has always been decent, but I go to a Restaurant for the food not the service. Ice cream here is good but way overpriced.

My husband and I try to be as frugal as possible(especially since we eat out all the time). We are always looking for coupons and it is a good way to try new things anyway. Well, we got a buy one get one free burger/sandwich coupon for this place, so we headed there for lunch. We ordered the Rodeo Burger, the 3 Alarm Chicken Sandwich(no cheese), French Fries, and Chili Cheese Fries. My husband enjoyed his burger, but he said the BBQ sauce wasn’t the best. I enjoyed my sandwich quite a bit. It came with wing sauce which I got on the side just in case I didn’t like it, but it ended up being alright. It wasn’t really spicy… Utah makes some weird sweet/sticky wing sauces, and this was one of those. The french fries really didn’t do it for me. They weren’t crispy enough and they just weren’t very good. Their chili(which was on the chili cheese fries), really wasn’t very good either. It just didn’t have a very good flavor, and we ended up not really eating them. I know people really like their ice cream, so maybe that is what keeps this place in business. We didn’t get any, but they had a huge selection(their ice cream menu was just as big as their food menu). Finally, this place is just a bit too expensive for what it is. Even with the coupon it seemed expensive. That means that without the coupon it would be ridiculous. Usually I don’t mind paying a little big extra for good food, but since it wasn’t really that good, I just don’t think it is worth it. I don’t think I will be returning… there are too many other options in the area(JCW, Parkers, etc.).

It’s the Utah burger craze embodied within four walls and a roof. Shakes are great here, fries are diner-licious. Corn dogs, burgers, everything you could want. Love is in the food. Love, and care, and attention to detail. You have the owner’s and staff’s best shot at making a meal. I’m not a huge fan of the Utah burger joint mentality, but all things being equal, if you are, come here.
