The tri-tip salad is addictive! Food is delivered fast and priced fairly reasonable. Great family environment, but the taste and quality of the food is what keeps me coming back. I love the fries and dipping sauces as well.

I went and got a chicken salad from them on my lunch break. I saw that the chicken was pink in the center and so I took it back. The manager told me that their chicken is always a little pink. I’m sorry sir, chicken is NEVER supposed to be pink in the middle. So either avoid the chicken or perhaps think twice on how the food is being prepared.

Always a good choice! My recommendations include: Wild Rice and Kale Salad — Great lighter option that will still fill you up. The dressing is vinegar based with a refreshing citrus taste. I’m pretty sure I lived off of this salad for at least a month… it’s THAT good. The Pikey — Everything I want in a chicken sandwich. Period. Tri Tip Steak Salad — My husband’s favorite, he prefers it with ranch instead of the vinaigrette. Buffalo Blue Cheese Fries — When my french fry craving hits, these are A MUSTHAVE. ***Tip: If you’re an avid-dipper like myself, request the sauce on the side, you’ll get a large cup of the blue cheese mixed with buffalo sauce, and a better fry-to-dip ratio. The Dragonslayer has a reputation, but I didn’t really LOVE it… If you love a big beefy burger, then you’ll probably like it. I personally like a more balanced tasting burger. I also thought that the buffalo/blue cheese taste would be more prominent, but it’s drowned by all the beef.

Great food and menu, but finding seating at peak times can be a challenge. I would recommend the TriTip sandwich and the bowl of fries with their buffalo sauce. Makes for a great combination.

I love love love Cubbys! I happened upon this place down in Spanish Fork. Ate there and loved the Kale Salad. They since have opened up one in Lehi and Sugar house. I love the natural ingredients flavors. Nothing artificial here. I have eaten here a couple of times trying a few sandwiches but always go back to the Apple Kale Salad.

I have dodged this review for about a year. I have wanted to like this place. I just couldn’t. I don’t know why, but I sincerely hate Bleu Cheese. We ate inside once, and the wife brought it home once. The former I ordered improperly and everything had Bleu Cheese upon it. Blue Cheese. The latter I flippantly told my wife«just get me whatever» when asked what I wanted on her way home from work. Again, Bleu Cheese on it. I ate frozen pizza that night for dinner. Then the Cubby’s truck pulled up at work a few months later. I was hungry and I gave it another try. I Read the menu *thoroughly* this time(I’m smart like that). After some attentive, yet deductive man-reasoning, I got the tri-tip sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce and sweet potato fries(Truth is, The truck guy gave me a tip on the sweet potato fries — but that’s irrelevant). It was delicious. The bread was outstanding, the Steak was clearly a good cut and the sauce and everything mixed together really nicely. Good Flavor! Actually, really damn good! You wouldn’t think sweet potato fries would go together with that maple sauce, but they’re money. I ate the whole thing with a smile on my face. We’ve been back several times now. Once I get sick of that tri-tip, I may venture out into other things, but for now it keeps us coming back. I love the different menu, the fresh food and to the local thing… We love this place. 5 Strong stars Cubby’s! Outstanding food and service.

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because I always have to stand around waiting for a table and then have people stand around me waiting for mine while I’m eating. The food is great, I’ve tried the Rosemary fries, the cockadoodledoo, the tri tip salad and the tri tip sandwich.

We were really happy they were open Boxing Day. My favorite item on the menu is their tri-tip, and I was looking forward to enjoying it. This is the first time in the new location, and once I saw the towering menu, I knew I wasn’t contributing my money to this business any longer. About a year ago, I heard from a friend of mine that the owner of the store had come to the light about the misogyny in classifying the strength of sauces as «girl, boy, man», and intended to change the menu. I expected it would be gone, but nope. The implications in this are based on toxic stereotypes men love to laugh at. If it’s funny to you, it really says something about you. The fact that the owner kept it when he apologized for it, says something about him now. I ended up taking my business to Slab. I recommend that others do the same.

Food is 8 out of 10 Service is 7 out of 10 Restaurant atmosphere 5 out of 10 Foods good. Like their flavor combinations in their salads. Sandwiches are fine but nothing special. Several fry varieties and they are all good. This place is always crowded. A testament to the food. But dining inside feels like your in a crowded elevator trying to tie your shoe. But people like the food right so we all put up with tight quarters. If you love food get a salad or burger. If you want to go safe get a sandwich and fries. And you’ll mostly eat the fries.

I ordered the Tetonka the first time I came here with the side of Smokey BBQ Bleu Cheese Fries and Macaroni and Cheese. The sandwich was good but not perfect, the chicken was not cooked well throughout and the seasoning was a tad off. The Fries were to die for, I definitely recommend ordering them. The sauce drizzle on them was perfect and they even came out in a nice eclectic bowl. Now, the Mac N Cheese was something, I ordered the first time and definitely came a second time just to have it again. I was a little disappointed the second time since this time it came out watery and not flavorful at all. This is the reason for the 3 stars because quality control is lacking and depending on the day, your Mac N Cheese might be good or just taste like Krafts.

I finally tried Cubby’s after countless personal referrals — I’m glad I did! First of all — I like the atmosphere. Their menu /ordering style is well designed and I love that when you wait in line there are photos of many of the dishes. Their menu selection is fabulous — I had a hard time choosing what I wanted between the delicious burgers and awesome salads and sandwiches. I ultimately chose the Houdini Burger and the buffalo fries(almost every table in the restaurant had them so I figured they were on to something). My friend had a sandwich. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The ingredients were so fresh, the combinations were tasty. I’ll venture to say this was actually one of the best burgers I’ve had. I love that it wasn’t overly greasy. The portions were filling and the prices are extremely reasonable. To top it off, the food came out quickly considering how busy it was, and all of the staff was very pleasant and cheery. I will be back here many many times.

Thank you Unilocalers this was a great find. We were in a bit of a hurry looking for some quick take out. Parking lot was packed and so was the restaurant which scared us a bit. However there were 3 people in front of us. We order a tri-tip sandwich(the bigger size), a chicken sandwich, Fries, small Mac and cheese, and 2 drinks. For a total of $ 20 Whoop Whoop! Ours order came out in about 7min and both sandwich were delicious and huge. Bread was amazingly soft… There was so much meat on the tri-trip. Needless to say fries and mac and cheese were great as well. Wish there was one of these down in San Diego. Definitely coming back when around this area

This is the second Cubby’s location, but just as good as the first and a great meal. I love the cool design of the place and the buffalo bleu cheese fries are outstanding. Always a good spot for when family’s in town!

First time at Cubby’s, and I loved everything we tried (Tri tip salad, pikey sandwich, rosemary fries, & chocolate cookies and cream cookie). Definitely a place I could visit frequently. Everything on the menu looks and sounds tasty. Can’t wait to try more!

It has been nearly a year since I last visited Cubby’s. After 3 or 4 times of standard food and more options opening up, I gave up on them. Some friends wanted to eat here for dinner and I’m glad they did. A couple of things have changed since a year ago. Multiple people no longer ask what your order will be as they did before(that was really weird), they’ve put up a glass pane between the line and the food prep area that wasn’t there before, and I believe they have a new(as in new to me and wasn’t there a year ago) chipotle fry sauce… which sounds like heaven and tasted pretty good too. Some things are still the same, the oddly large chalk board menu that you can’t read without eagle vision, the annoyingly loud noise inside, and the great outdoor seating are still there. That’s okay though. I ordered a Dragonslayer and split some blue cheese fries with my girlfriend. I got a small drink and a cream cheese cookie sandwich thing to share as well. The drink selection is better than I remember… I love when restaurants offer things other than the standard Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite line up. They’ve got Apple Beer, Red Cream Soda, and Squirt here. Not a huge deal, but a nice touch. The food came out reasonably quick, especially for the number of people there. The food was really good. Previously I complained about the burgers being dry. This was fixed. My burger was perfectly cooked, full of juice and flavor, and overall just a really good burger. It’s still not worthy of the name Dragonslayer as it really, really isn’t spicy at all, but it is a pretty good burger. The blue cheese fries were the stars though. I love good fries and I especially love good sauces. The toppings on them were incredible, and they were perfectly cooked as well. Once I got to the under layer of fries I was able to dip them in the chipotle mayo and thought that was really good as well. Overall I was pretty impressed with my meal. They’ve certainly fixed a lot of things over the last year and I won’t hesitate to come back. I’d like to see an actually spicy option, and not having one will keep me away from hear when I’m craving something spicy, but I don’t have a problem coming here again with friends or for work.

Got the Tri-Tip steak sandwhich with rosemary fries and my wife the beet salad. Both were very tasty if a tad small. The sandwhich meat was tender and mixed with the right amount of chopped onion. The spicy BBQ sauce I chose had a nice hotness with some balancing sweet. The bread was ok. Soft and fresh but nothing to write home about. My wife enjoyed her beet salad and it did feature ample beets, nuts, cheese and crisp, fresh spring mix lettuce. The portions of fries were huge. The Sweet Potato fries were accordian-style, very cruncy, and lots of that sweet potato flavor without too much residual oil. The rosemary fries were solid, well-seasoned and crisp. Too many crunchy little nubs in the bottom of the bag for my taste, but that may be a bonus for some. Finally the side of Mac n Cheese: the noodles were firm, and the cheesy taste(3 cheese blend) was more sophisticated than the runny, velveeta-style offerings at many places. Overall a pinch on the pricey side, but with free soda refills, highly tasty eats and a simple, clean evironment it is well worth it.

There are so many new places to try at Thanksgiving Point! The tri-tip sandwich was really good here. My high expectations were off the chart which can lead to disappointment but how can you go wrong with tri-tip topped with bacon and just a little barbq sauce? As good as the sandwich was the Buffalo fries will be what brings me back! Just fries served with a crazy good sauce. The menu wall is just as annoying as reviews detail. At night it was difficult to see and mostly ineffective. Service was lack-luster. It wasn’t extremely busy the night I visited. I ordered takeout, arrived promptly at the time given, paid and waited another :20 while people walked in, ordered and were served prior to receiving my meal. Frustrating because it would have been :10 quicker had I walked in and ordered rather than call ahead. I was offered a free cookie for the delay but it didn’t make up for the wait. There are many food options so parking can be really difficult at busy times of the day. Heads up the bill for a sandwich and fries was around $ 15. Food quality 4.5, service 3, value 3 = 3.5 stars

I had a fun lunch date with my sister, and boy did we hit the jackpot! She ordered the ever-so-famous Tri Tip Steak Sandwich with a side of Rosemary Peppered French Fries. I got the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad(exchanged the mustard vinaigrette for the raspberry one – I’ve never been a dijon lover) and a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Let me tell you, straight up delish, all of it. The Tri Tip Sandwich, like I said, is what Cubby’s is known for. And although it was fabulous, I also wished I would have gotten the Cockadoodledoo chicken sandwich, I hear that one is even better. So, pick your poison(it’s really not poisoned, it’s delightful), and if you decide to get both chicken and steak, that’s fine with me too. The Sweet Potato Fries were killer. The reason I liked it so much was that they actually gave me a nice handful – as opposed to other restaurants and their stingy selves. The Rosemary Fries were different, I enjoyed them with a side of sweet BBQ fry sauce, I know it sounds weird, but just trust me on that one. The man sitting next to our table was eating the Buffalo Fries, and those looked incredible too. It took all of me not to just reach across and help him finish his basket. It was crowded, LOTS of people waiting for tables. Luckily, we were able to get a table right away, as there was only two of us, but just beware. Maybe send a runner to scout out possible seating arrangements while you order their food. I did love the atmosphere, a fun and upbeat restaurant with some fun and upbeat waiters! TIPS&TRICKS: * Reservations can be made, but only if you are with a group of 5 or more. * Chipotle fry sauce and good old fashioned Regular fry sauce(where I’m from though, we call it pink sauce ;) * The BUMmer part – there are only 2 restrooms in the whole restaurant.(Did you like my pun?) It doesn’t help that it’s always packed and people can’t seem to hold their bladder, just go somewhere else unless you really feel like waiting 10 minutes.

I really wanted to love Cubbys after hearing great reviews from friends and on social media. But I left feeling like, «eh». Nothing terrible, but nothing that stood out either. Came at 1:30 for lunch and it was packed — line moved slow and there was not enough tables for how busy it was. We had to hover over a table waiting for them to finish. Ordered: tri-tip steak salad(this was the best thing we ordered and the dressing was great, but the salad base and ingredients were just okay), sweet potato fries(over cooked), kids mac & cheese(disappointing– lacked flavor), kids hot dog(didn’t try myself but my son seemed to like it — but is it hard to mess up a hot dog?), tri-tip steak sandwich(too much sauce), oatmeal coconut cookies(eh).
