Del Taco

As everyone else has already noticed this particular location is the worst. Every time I come here I have to wait in the drive through for at least 10 minutes. I get in and out of Costa vida faster.

I pretty much only go to Del Taco when a weird craving hits. When I do I get the exact same thing every time…2 ½ pound bean and cheese burritos, one with red one with green, and a JUV BRC burrito. It comes out to about $ 3.34, tastes good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and fills me up. I douse it in some hot sauce packets and am content… most of the time.
The main issue is that when you get a ½ pound b&c you are either getting a 2 star dried up beans one, or a 4 star moist one. There never seems to be an in-​between burrito. The moist ones are fantastic, easily one of the best things you can buy for around a buck. The dry ones are okay, but more of a chore to eat.
So that’s about my extend of knowledge on Del Taco… occasionally I pick up tacos or quesadillas or something else. The chicken soft tacos are pretty good, Taco Tuesday is decent, and the quesadillas with pepper jack are pretty good. For $ 1 food it is better than other $ 1 options.

Let me first say that I don’t have high expectations from a fast food joint. We come here all the time. We waited 15 minutes in the drive thru and when I went to pay, didn’t have the order in the system. They had us pull around and wait. We waited 5 more minutes and decided to go in to see what the problem is.
When I walked in the place was disgusting where the food was being prepped. Food, trash, and boxes all over the floor. Gross! Still the order wasn’t prepped.
I asked for a refund and the manager didn’t appreciate my candid feedback and most likely won’t change anything on their end. 25 minutes of my life I won’t get back. The only reason to come back is for the hot sauce.

This is the worst del taco in the whole state of utah! DO NOT COME HERE!!! I have NEVER waited under 15 min in the drive through! Avoid this at all cost! Food is shit!!!

Never been to a Del Taco that has struggled so much. It is extremely slow every time I go. Today I was the only one in the drive through and still waited close to 10 min for 4 soft tacos. That’s it, just 4 soft tacos. Then the tortilla was hard. This is close to my house but will start traveling farther just to avoid this store.

And my friend didn’t even get a beverage to wash down his vile Accutane for his terrible nodular acne!!!

Unfortunately, this location struggled quite a bit. We drove through and they forgot to give us the sauce we had asked for, and when I pulled out one of our soft tacos, a finger sized whole had literally penetrated the package… It was seriously heinous. My best guess is that it had been sitting for so long that the paper was completely drenched in grease? sauce? water? and the employee didn’t bother to replace even the paper when his finger poked through… It was so bad that my husband took it back. Isn’t having to take fast food back to the restaurant the ultimate offense? Isn’t that the opposite of fast food? I didn’t even want a replacement because I was nervous about eating tacos that sat out and/​or employees taking the time to make sure things were clean and quality leaving the restaurant. We will NOT be back. It kind of put a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively) for Del Taco, period.

This is consistently the slowest place I go for food. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night; always slow. I used to think the burger joint next door was slow, but this Del Taco is giving them a run for their money.

I’m rating this place on a fast food scale. it’s 24 hr cheap american (yes american!) fast food, what can I complain about. The branch is pretty clean and service is fast.

I’m leaving with a full tummy as well as a full wallet. I couldn’t be any happier with my meal. I highly recommend the taco in a bun and the orange shake. Simply outstanding!

First, let me say that I’d much rather go to Del Taco than Taco Bell, but I’d much rather go to Beto’s than Del Taco. Now that you know my hierarchy of cheap, Mexican-​American fast food joints, let me continue.
I had to leave home semi-​early on a Saturday morning and did not feel like making breakfast, so I decided to hit up Del Taco. I walked in, peered over the breakfast menu and my eyes caught the words «Epic Breakfast Burrito». My mouth began to water before I even looked to see what was inside of the dang thing! The words «Epic. Breakfast. Burrito» were enough to awaken my taste buds! This beast of a breakfast burrito contains hash browns, scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa, and your choice of bacon, sausage, or steak! I gobbled it down with an iced coffee as I drove to my destination and I was happy! Also, this is a manly sized burrito, so your belly will be full as well as your soul being elated…

It’s a wasteland of mediocre chain places near Thanksgiving point. The fish taco here is one of the small bright spots. This review is for that dish. Nothing else I’ve tried rises beyond OK, but I like the fish taco.

I used to love this place — it was my go-​to fast food choice for years — but sadly the quality seems to have deteriorated. Their meat quality seems much lower, and I can’t for the life of me get a hard taco that’s not completely shattered. They also got rid of their root beer shake (boooo!). I still love their deep fried caramel cheesecake bites, but they’re pretty much a heart attack waiting to happen, so I probably should only eat them once in a blue moon anyway.

On 9÷17÷2012 we were in town for a soccer game. Went through drive thru, purchased two fish tacos. Hit the road for Ogden, opened the tacos and was disgusted to find, the first had hardly any fish, lettuce instead of cabbage and a lemon instead of a lime. The lettuce was so full of water, the corn tortillas were soaked and falling apart. I opened the next and it was just as bad, no pico de gallo, and the lemon wedge stuffed inside the taco. We didn’t eat them, couldn’t force myself to even take a bite, and couldn’t have picked it up anyway since the tortillas were soaked with water and falling apart. NEVER EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
I would give this negative stars if possible

The only reason I like coming to this place is because it has a playground for my kids.

Decent Amerimex fast-​food but Taco Bell is better.

Once you have eaten at one Del Taco you can pretty much expect what your gonna get at the rest. However, the service at this location is phenomenal. Making it deserving of all five stars. But remember this is still a Del Taco so don’t expect to much from the food:)
