Carl’s Jr. has an excellent chicken salad for $ 5.99. It was late when I went and I was the only customer. The kids working there we full of energy and bouncing around, talking and laughing. It might have irritated me on some days, but today it filled me with joy and gave me hope for the future.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the double bacon cheeseburger combo. Not bad, it was hot and ready and out in a few minutes. I also ordered two bean and cheese burritos which in the past was a meal in itself. Was very disappointed with the product that Green Burrito is putting out these days. The burrito was flat as a pancake! Minimal beans and just a trace amount of cheese. It’s not only this location. I’ve noticed the same trend at other Carl’s Jr/Green Burrito locations… sad.

The douche bag in front of me ordered a bunch of stuff at the drive-through. Waited behind him for 15 minutes. Instead of having him park in the front like most places will do these guys had him stay in line.

I made a quick stop last weekend to hold over some guests for dinner. I really wish I had gotten the names of the two young ladies I interacted with, they gave OUTSTANDING customer service. They actually seemed to enjoy their job and wanted to be there. I didn’t order anything for myself, but the order was right and no one complained about anything.

I haven’t had the opportunity to try the Big Carl which is basically a double cheese burger with secret sauce. I made it a combo with fried and an iced tea, but I had them serve me the secret sauce which highly resembled something of a Thousand Island dressing, not that there is anything wrong with that. The burger was not to bad. However, it was not as juicy as I remember Carl’s Jr. burgers to be. These meat patty had the texture and moister level as if they were precooked, but on a good note, the meat patty tasted good and had mild charbroiled flavor, as advertised. The sesame bun was moist, the lettuce was crispy and fresh, and apparently the Big Carl does not come with sliced tomatoes and onions. The applied a little bit of the secret sauce which tasted pretty good and like I said early, reminded me of a Thousand Island dressing. The French Fries were quite good. They arrived piping hot and gad a crispy exterior with a tender soft center. The were well seasoned and remained crispy throughout my eating experience. The employees were friendly enough. The girl who took my order was a little shy but was friendly. I would say, I was glad to see them making an effort to keep the place clean. At least, there was one employee picking up the place as I ate my meal, and it happen to be the same girls who took my order.

I order a oreo shake and when they gave it to me it was water down and tasted like chalk. when I walked back in to get my refund the manager clearly knew exactly of what I was talking about. he even said yea the machine is premixed. so ummm and still served it to me. never again.

This is the worst location ever! The drive thru person was super rude and kept trying to cut us off when we were trying to order. When we pulled up to the window still rude. When we got home we opened our bags. They gave me the wrong burger and needless to say I didn’t trust eating anything that we got cause I felt like they spit in our food. Will not becoming back to this location ever! Don’t come here!

Went to get some lunch the other day and got an old school Double Western. This place did not disappoint. This is my favorite Carl’s Jr spots. I have not had bad luck with the food here. But I have experienced not getting the correct order a long time ago… Great food!

I’ve visited mainly in the morning. Anyway years ago I paid $ 20 and didn’t realize I was given only a few bucks and some change. The next morning I made my order the cashier in the drive thru remembered me and returned the extra $ 5 or so dollars she owed me. No complaints besides it’s location.

Decided to increase stars after a positive visit. Carls Jr now has a grass fed burger! «The Natural Burger» I’m pretty impressed. I’m quite sure this is the first drive thru that offers grass fed beef. Impressive Carls Jr. It’s actually tasty! I recommend no mayo, no pickles because they do put sweet pickles on it & that’s just wrong. Anyway try the new burger! Happy to see higher standards at at least one drive thru.

I’m not sure why this Carl’s Jr only has two stars, but they got our order right and they were open on Christmas. Add that to the fact that the staff all seemed happy, even considering they were working on Christmas and it was a nice experience!

I usually avoid Carl’s Jr., especially this one. They always get my order wrong, but it’s been a while, so I had hoped they got better. They got worse. I tried going through the drive through to order two combos, not even anything complicated. They lady kept on moving on to drinks and sizes before I was done telling her what we wanted on our burgers. When we finally got her to take down the details, we moved to drinks and couldn’t seem to wrap her head around«Barqs», a kind of root beer. Every time we said Barqs, she’d pause and ask again what we wanted to drink. This happened multiple times until it finally clicked and she questioned«root beer?» YES. YESROOTBEER. dear god At this point, I was already giving up and contemplating leaving. Then the unthinkable happened. We looked at our order on the screen and noticed that everything was large after we had said specifically at the very beginning(more than once) that it was going to be small combos. When we brought up the mistake, they deleted one of the combos completely, set the other to small and asked if that completed my order. Oh, I was done alright. So very done. I had given up on this place changing. Fortunately, In-n-out was very close, so we went there instead. Would give 0 stars if possible. I will not be going to this Carl’s jr again. And I will hesitate before going to any other Carl’s jr.

I like it but I do not love it. But I do gotta say I been here 5 times since I arrived her in San Diego but I just absolutely love the fried zucchini I got them every time but you gotta get it extra crispy though and I always get the famous star it is good and it is cheap and it is big and I tried the sea salt caramel milkshake malt thing and I loved it very different and distinct

Thier drive through time is the worst 10 – 15 minute’s is way too long. Then every time i go there they get my order wrong. But yesterday was far the worst. I ordered a teryaki chicken sandwich seem’s easy enough wrong. First they gave me a teryaki burger went inside waited another 5 minutes by then had to rush to work by then had 20 minute’s to clock in for work. I go to bite into my sandwich and it was a turkey burger. I called them immediately they tell me the cook’s in training. Well if they don’t know the difference between chicken, beef, and turkey. Maybe thier training should start with pictionary. Over all worst carl’s jr ever.

Such a bad experience, after going through the drive thru. We continued to wait for close to 10 mins. I know we are just talkin about minutes, but time is money and we just wasted our lunch break waiting. As we waited and waiting seeing other cars pass by with their food. We decided it was time to go inside and see what was taking so long. By this point we had been waiting for close to 16 minutes. Finally went inside and the wrapping on our food was just tossed. When spoke to the manager, she personally re did our food. She apologized for the wait and gave us our money back. However once we made it back to our destination, our order was all wrong! Yeah we received free food, but we were willing to pay for what we asked. Now since it was free and it was the wrong order we decided to just go to the taco shop. Never going back to this place again!

Terrible service! Came through the drive through here at 8pm with not a single person in the inside and no one in the drive through… Ordered 3 spicy chicken sandwiches they told us to wait in front and we waited there for 10 minutes until he went in to get our food ourselves. Will definitely not go here again

I went for a quick lunch and found the store clean. I ordered the Southwest Turkey Burger it was as good in the poster. I ordered the side salad and one dressing was the perfect portion to cover the salad. The place was very clean, Jesus could have have a ironed uniform shirt. Will go back they were polite and the order arrived to my table fast!

I only eat here when I have the free coupons in the mail. Other than that I am not a huge fan of this chain. The prices are slightly higher than the casual burger chain but still within reasonable price ranges. They mostly offer burgers and chicken specialty meals, neither of which stands out significantly. Their shakes are pretty good though. Sometimes it takes a long time for them to bring you their food when ordering from inside. I never used the drive-thru so I don’t know about the wait time for that. I will continue to eat here as long as I continue to receive free coupons in the mail.
