This place has poor management stick with paying with cash and don’t give your money to these blondes playing to friend you when they’re foul language will show them true colors

We were in the area and looking for a quick drink before heading home. Unilocal led us here. It’s not much to look at… a typical dive bar, but Kimberly was an awesome bartender and hostess, and the beer was cold. We ended up staying awhile because we got wrapped up in talking to Kimberly. I will definitely be back!

A really friendly dive beer bar with great ladies pouring beer, and a friendly owner who always treats us like family. I wish they served food and weren’t located in down town Lemon Grove(no lemons, it’s a shit hole), but hey, that makes the little oasis a standout. Live music that can be good, so it’s a good place to get your drink on. And it very close to an In N Out Burger!

Susana is right… great dive bar, without the frills and no pretense. Dig on your beer and music with a crowd carrying a casual vibe. All the standard issue items, including pool tables of course, but it’s the people… the crowd will make you feel welcome just as long as you’re real. Got to love places like that.

This was one of our stops after a Saturday afternoon motorcycle ride. What a fun place. Kimberly & Amanda were so much fun and kept us there longer than we had planned. We will definitely return there!

I went here the other night for a Punk Rock show. It’s a great little place, and I had a great time. The bartender was great, very personable. Very intimate and the layout helps it feel bigger than it is. Had a great time at the show not only because of the good music, but also because this little venue is one of the best I’ve been to for a small show like this. Not claustrophobic, interesting but not overwhelming décor for the place. I’d go back even if it’s not to see one of the shows there.

A buddy of mine was doing an acoustic music show here, and asked me and another comic to do some time during it… holy shit, talk about the diviest of dive bars, w/a creepy raggedy sofa in the corner. I just called it the rape sofa. I don’t think I’d ever go here again.

Met some friends here for a night out on the town. The bar had side street parking which was fine for all of us for a short walk. The place was rather small but I like that they had good music with an up and coming group. There is a pool table and plenty of chairs. Kinda one of those bars where you can just go and hang out for a few hours. No cover charge and the bartender was very social. The beers were priced fair and if your hungry they have a menu for the nearby Italian place called Lidos that will deliver free of charge.

Cozy little bar with a pool table and plenty of sitting room. The lady in charge is super sweet and likes to bring in fresh local bands to play. Be sure to tip her well! Because Good Guys is not a well-known bar, they do not have much variety in drinks. Mostly beer, wine, and vodka. Pitchers range from $ 10-$ 14. Watch out for the territorial customers who may tell you to get out of «their» bar.

Good Guys rocks on! Dano has given this place a thorough face lift, and it’s a cool place to come and chill. Now they are hosting lots of local bands so if you like your music loud and local, this is the place! Check it out.

I love this bar! There are not too many true cool dive bars left out there. The Good GuysTavern is definately one of them. The new owner has spiffed it up a bit, but it still has it’s old school feel. Lots of Great beers, awesome jukebox and a pool table that can tell some tales! The bartenders are the friendliest in town! It’s worth the drive to Lemon Grove.
