Fosters Freeze

Great meal, fast service a definite upgrade over the normal Burger spots. I will choose the food here every time.

Longest wait at drive thru ever! I hope that means it’s cooked EXTREMELY fresh.
Prices have gone up astronomically, unapologetically. 2 medium chocolate malts (plus extra malt because they skimp) comes out to over $ 11!
If you want to splurge and get some food, when ordering a combo I would recommend a size of fries bigger than what comes with it normally. It’s almost laughable. You only get like 13 fries which sucks because they are soo good!
So obviously this review is not about the food. It’s the prices and service.

Usually a bunch of kids working, so don’t expect amazing service. BUT I go for the food… great treats.

Awesome place! Store needs some updating but the food/​ice cream is on point and who could complain about $ 1 Wednesdays any size ice cream!

Love them! Is a nice yummy treat. I just wish the banana split didn’t come with that weird pineapple sauce. We usually go through the drive thru but once we dined in and they had live music! It was so cool

I love their icecream cones, and the food is great. every time I have been there the service has been awesome and quick to serve.

This Foster’s Freeze is amazing. I have never been disappointed and we went here for years!
For the longest time, we only came here for frozen goodness. We came through the drive thru so much one summer, that they actually knew who we were by our order. One day we realized they served food too (lol). So, we decided to come in and have dinner.
The inside is clean and the staff is super friendly. The burgers and fries were amazing, we couldn’t believe we had never thought to come in. The have a TV and the place just seemed older but nice.
A few years back we learned that they do $ 1 Cone Wednesdays. They do it every week of the year, including in the summer. And it’s not just a small dinky cone, you can get any size you want. Small, medium, large… it’s a buck! Chocolate or vanilla or half and half. You get to pick. Want it dipped? Pay a little extra and you can have it dipped (we never did). The ice cream here is hands down my favorite in the entire Hanford Lemoore area. It is so creamy and smooth, it’s perfection.
So, 5 stars and keep up the excellent work, Fosters!!!

Their «twisters» are delicious. I always order the oreo one. The food is «eh», hit or miss, but the ice cream makes up for it. Oh yeah, the staff is always pleasant, so that makes a difference and it encourages me to make repeat visits.

I ordered the Original Combo w/​Cheese (you have to ask for onions if you want them). The burger came out and was nice and hot and so were the fries.
The only thing that disappointed me about the burger is, when I took the bun off to arrange my toppings I noticed my patty seemed to fall into 2 pieces… it looked as if the cook was unsure if it was done so they cut it in half to check.
My only other complaint, which was fixed as soon as I brought it to their attention, was that after my meal I ordered a jr. strawberry shake. When it was brought to my table, it was like drinking strawberry flavored milk. Took it back up to the counter and they were very apologetic and explained there was someone new. They gave me another one and it was perfect!!!
I will continue to go here cause they have good food and sometimes have good deals. They tend to be on the expensive side though and I think they should turn on the AC during the hot summer months ;)

I went for a chocolate milk shake that was pretty good. Every one had ice cream and there really was no complaints. It is just an old place if you want to get something to eat and run.

I love Fosters Freeze, the burgers are fantastic, way better than anything else out there. They are very tasty and have that slight crunch from the grill they are cooked on, they have that mom and pop joint taste to them, delicious. Plus you can’t go wrong with their dipped ice cream cones.

I love coming back to Lemoore and visiting this yummy spot. BLT and a double dip, half-​n-​half ice cream cone for desert. Yeah, man. Place hasn’t changed and I love that! Aww, good times. oooh ooh I just remembered their Fry’s are awesome too, dip them in ice cream, perfect salty meets sweet… Okay Def heading there tmrw now.

I only go for the sweet treats here.
Double-​dipped chocolate ice cream cones are just plain awesome, GOSH. The soft served ice cream is nice and light and not overly sweet. Some people prefer a single dip but the chocolate breaks and melts faster. The double dipped gives the ice cream a hard coating, meaning more deliciousness and longer lasting treat. They make some pretty good strawberry shakes and twisters here, too. They are really sweet and you can clearly taste the strawberry flavor or whatever flavor you picked.
The burgers are not that great, though. The shredded lettuce is almost always too much and the meat is under-​seasoned and thin. I’d rather drive 10 minutes to buy burgers and fries over at White Top.
