Couture Cakery

Couture cakery made my wedding cupcakes a few years ago. I am still getting compliments on them! Not only how awesome they looked, but how delicious everything was too!!! Jasmine was fabulous to work with too. Their are enough stresses with wedding planning, and my desert definitely was not one of them! I gave her an idea of what I wanted, and she produced! She is a professional!

I don’t even like cake, but this cake was fabulous! We had a 50^th anniversary cake made with fondant on the outside and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting inside. It was stunningly beautiful and delicious! I will go back to the Couture Cakery for all my special event cakes!

My order was not ready when I arrived. There was a young boy (owner’s son?) working and another boy who may have been his friend in the shop. They had no idea what they were doing and tried to give me someone else’s order. He tried to call the owner to figure out what was going on with my order and she didn’t answer the phone. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never go back here. I ended up choosing some items from the display case since I needed something for my dinner party. The items I purchased were handled with bare hands which were not washed prior to handling the food. I had heard the cakes here were quite good, but that the owner could be difficult to work with. I decided to try it anyway and I must agree.
