Authentic Korean food ! This place is really good. People who work here are very accommodating.

Lives up to the legend. Clearly a family venture – dad in kitchen, mom waiting tables, daughter on register. If you are a newbie, try the soft tacos, one of each from beef, rib, and chicken. Meat is delicious, but somehow they also get a little bit of toasty char on the soft shells that takes it over the top. Definitely proper food.

got the bibimbop, they couldnt omit the spicy sauce/kimchi in the bowl [im a whimp when it comes to spicy] but i was able to eat it just fine! Granted, I drank a TON of water, but still amazing! About $ 12.50 for it, loved it. Definitely going back!

I really like eating here when I’m visiting. If you remove the walls, the resturant really gives you a vibe of a street vendor in asia. Some of the food aren’t too my liking, which is just my personal taste. So don’t take that into account. I haven’t tried any of the western version, only the traditional food. I haven’t been disappointed in any of it. However, the flavor sometime are a little different each time. I’m not sure why, but I still enjoy eating them. The customer services that we get are usually 4 stars. They seemed to know customer services etiquettes, which is rare in small resturant. However, I sometime feel rushed by them. I eat like an old traditional asian person with all different main and side dishes. While my partner in crime may be full… I’m still eating. So sometime, they will ask if you want to get boxes to go. Which is nice that they pay attention to you. Whenever, I eat at the location, I never feel awkward like someone is watching me while I am eating. Once I order, they disappear behind the wall until they bring my food or check on me. They always seemed to know when I enter without that annoying doorbell. My only complaint is the price for some of the foods are over priced for the amount you get. I also wish they give you more amount on the side dish. When I go to other states for the same thing, it is a lot cheaper than here. They tastes about the same. Except for the spicy rice cake. This is the only place in the usa where I will come just for spicy rice cake. It’s sweet and spicy! Every other place is only sweet. Plus, they have eggs and veggie mixed in. It taste so good when cooked again for some reasons, and eaten with souju. A great midnight snack or for sobering.

I love this place. The food is fantastic and prices are fair for what you’re getting. It’s very small so I wouldn’t bring a big group and better to hit during non-peak hours. Self serve water and hot tea, but the food is the star. I love the galbi and the bulgogi, tried the stir fried tofu with vegetables last time and it was great. The sweet potato noodles are very good as well. My friend gets the Bi Bim Bop every time and loves it. If you’re new to Korean food and feel a bit intimidated start with the bulgogi, it’s simple but incredible marinated beef served with rice. Try this place soon!!!

Overview: One of my favorite Korean restaurants! Food: The food here is absolutely wonderful. Everything is well spiced and incredibly flavorful. I have been here a number of times and tried quite a few dishes. The bibimbop is a classic and wonderful. I particularly like the seafood soondubu jigae, which is a spicy seafood stew. The bulgogi is also awesome. For lunch, the bulgogi burger is great, but I’m particularly fond of the Korean tacos! Recommend: Soondubu Jigae/Bibimbop. But honestly, everything is great. Atmosphere: Tucked into a little shopping center next to the West Shore Farmer’s Market, it can probably be easy to miss. But it’s definitely worth finding! It’s smallish inside, with wooden tables covered in plastic table cloths. Everything has always been clean and well-maintained. Service: The service here can get a little sparse as they only ever seem to have one woman working the registered and serving all the tables, however she has always been extremely kind and comes as quickly as she can when called.

First the positives, place was clean and the food was edible. That’s it. The server couldn’t have cared less that we were there and barely acknowledged our presence. The food was bland and microwaved. We had the buligogi, the marinated beef burrito, and the vegetable pancake. Out of the three the buligogi was the best but had no taste, no soul to it. The vegetable pancake was greasy and limp with a off putting flavor and the burrito was garbage with no flavor at all. I mean don’t get me wrong the food wasn’t disgusting just disappointing and not worth 30 dollars. Korean food let alone fusion cuisine requires passion and care not the not the work ethic of a person on their tenth year at McDonald’s. I love trying new things and have a love for all foods but this was a total disappointment. Some serious changes need to happen here.

Authentic Korean food that feels like a friends mother made it for you! The KimChi is excellent, as well as the other sides. Had the spicy Chicken entrée for lunch, and it was really impressive. They use a ton of vegetables with the meal, all very fresh and homemade. Great texture and spice. Set your expectations right. This is NOT a fine dining restaurant. Getting pretty tired of bad reviews because the tablecloth or chairs are cheap. This place is a homey dive Korean place tucked in a strip mall. If you are expecting Mortons-level service, go to a Morton’s-like place. Service was excellent today, but I would guess it can take time to get food or service at times. Its family-owned and they don’t have a big staff. You come here for amazing Korean food at a decent price — you will be VERY pleased.

The food is pretty good. it’s the only Korean restaurant for miles and miles so I’ll take it. I do wish they’d rip out the old diner carpeting. Anyway I’m glad they’re here and I hope they last a long time because I can’t stand the thought of not having Korean food in the area.

Very good bi bim bop and bulgogi. No frills hole in the wall with reasonable prices and very good food. My favorite kind of place.

Stopped in for quick bite for dinner based on the previous reviews of Unilocalers — I wasn’t disappointed! A small family-run restaurant, a number of customers in the dining room gladly offered up suggestions as I waited to order. The staff was very friendly all dishes are cooked to order in the kitchen behind a bamboo screen that separates it from the no-frills but quite comfortable and clean dining room. I ordered Bi Bim Bop — and it was delicious. Very comparable to the best I’ve had. Very good Kimchee as well — although I should have ordered it a little hotter and spicier. The only ding I could possibly give this place is that the menu pasted on the wall didn’t fully express all of their offerings. Great stuff. I will be back if I’m in the area!

This is my 3rd time here and this time I had the Bulgogi. Needless to say it was delicious. Every time I’ve been here the food is excellent. This is a hidden gem and that I wish more people knew about. The service is good and the food is excellent. Authentic as they come.

I had a Korean friend come from out of town and this was a must stop on the visit. Not being a Korean food expert I thoroughly enjoyed everything that was brought to the table. My friend said he had to travel 400 miles to get some authentic made to order fresh Korean comfort food. We ate like KINGS. I look forward to returning to this clean friendly atmosphere. This place will make it on to my list of regular stops.

Pros: Authentic Korean food, tacos, and the kimchi. The food here is great, especially the tacos. The kimchi is also very good and they do sell it to go as well. Cons: Drinks, and atmosphere. I ordered water and it came out with absolutely no ice and lukewarm. The water had a weird taste to it, almost as if the plastic cup soaked in some of the flavors of the food when getting ran through the dishwasher. The atmosphere is terrible. The tables have this cheap plastic tablecloth on it and the chairs are less comfortable than a plastic lawn chair. I’ve been in here a few times now and am just now writing a review. Every time I have visited I usually get the food to go but today was the first day I decided to eat in. The food has always been great, the tacos especially. Today I got one of the soup bowls and it came out in this black pot and the soup was still boiling when it was brought out. I went with the spicy version of the soup because I’m combating a cold and it cleared my sinuses right up! Nice and spicy without being inedible. The service was nothing to complain or praise about although I will say that after our food came out no one checked on us at all. Overall I would rate this place as pretty average with the food being delicious and the rest of the details(service, atmosphere, etc.) to be sub par.

Wow! Straight up AWESOME. I had the bulgogi beef(pictured) and it was fresh hot and what I would expect from my mothers kitchen — epic. Side dishes were great and included healthy and yummy cucumber radish etc. The people working here are Korean and very nice and cool. Pretty sure they own the place which was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back.

Korealicious is great. The food is delicious, both the authentic and fusion choices. Prices are very good for the quality and portion size. I have never had anything here that I was disappointed with. Kimchi pancakes are awesome. Service is incredible, as well. The owners are friendly, and always know my order as soon as I call it in. I always do take-out, simply because the restaurant is a bit lacking in space. It can get really crowded, easily, and navigating through can be awkward. Don’t let that stop you though. It’s only a small complaint along a long list of things I couldn’t praise enough.

I have never eaten Korean food, nor had I ever laid eyes on Korealicious before we decided to make a trip here. 4 words for you… OUTOFTHISWORLD. It sits in the back end of a small strip mall and we couldn’t even see it from the street. When we walked in, there was a group of young 20-somethings waiting for their food. The atmosphere is very cozy and the smells are delicious that emanate from the kitchen! I cannot for the life of me remember what I ordered, but my fiancé ordered the Bibimbop. The food arrived rather quickly and looked AMAZING. Very large portions and steaming hot. It was everything I anticipated and more. Service was out of this world. Our son started to get a little fussy… probably because he wanted some of our yummy food… and the owner came out from the kitchen with Cheerios for him! I’ve never had anyone do this before, and it was much appreciated and affirmed that they support a family environment. I can’t wait to go back!

I have eaten here countless times now. Everything is fresh and tastes great. The owners cook and serve. It’s like eating in their kitchen. Home cooking with pride and very authentic. Prices are low for the portion size and quality. My favorite place in the area.

What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up with its owners’ charm and excellent flavors. I’ve now been here 3 times and each time it was excellent. The first time was the Bibimbop, which was a scary, while exciting, mini cauldron of delicious food with a fried egg on top. My second time was the burrito(spicy chicken). A little overpriced for its size, but delicious. The most recent visit was Japchae an amazingly huge pile of noodles, veggies and beef along with kimchi and two other cold salads. Enough for two. Don’t come here expecting a «nice» restaurant. It’s a bit of a hole-in-the-wall and lacks décor and ambiance. That being said, the food I’ve sampled so far was great.
