Came here with a coworker for lunch. We stood waiting at the front for over 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us. She finally told us to take a seat anywhere we’d like and we were promptly met with our waitress who took our order! I had the philly steak sandwich and it was good! I ordered the truffle fries based on a high recommendation from my coworker but they were cold and weren’t as tasty as they should’ve been. The service here is extremely slow even though it wasn’t very busy for lunch. It took them 30 minutes to bring out our food. The staff seemed frazzled as well. I wouldn’t recommend coming here during your lunch break if you are on a time crunch. They did have these cool drink cups that you’re able to take home with you!

Classy atmosphere with great service and food. We all loved our sandwiches, especially the Cuban and Philly… And nachos for appetizer. Cold beer with lots of choices too!

This is the third or fourth time that we have been and I feel like they have slipped a little in the past year. I always get the black bean burger and this time around it was way under cooked and not enough aioli. My husband had the Swiss burger and unfortunately the mushrooms were canned and it left little flavor to the burger but it was cooked perfectly. The waffle fries are amazing. And the real reason we go is for the beer they have one of the best beer selection and prices in Kansas City. The service is always fabulous as well. May not go again for entrées but for appetizers and beers. You can also get a flight sample of beer and that is nice so that you can try different variations. On Saturday nights all Kansas beers are cheaper I love that they support local brewers. Have to mention that the burgers are served on Farm to market brioche buns. delicious!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. What is the point of asking how I like my burger cooked if you are going to cook it the way you want too? The same thing happened to me twice here. The second time I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt. I made a big mistake there. From the moment we walked in the door it was a bad experience. They ask you to wait to be seated however, after standing there for ten minutes without acknowledgement we sat ourselves. Then when we finally order, I ordered a burger well done. They bring my burger out and when I cut into it, the burger was pink in the middle with red liquid squirting out of it. Then by the time they came back to check on us my significant other had finished their dinner. I asked them to remake it and it took them another half hour and when I received my new burger it was charcoal. It was dry and chewy. Also, we were ready to leave. We had been there for over an hour already. How does the same thing happen twice? Don’t go here if you like your burger any other way than it mooing at you or a charcoal brick.

Good food, tons of TVs and fun atmosphere. Several games in back room. Wings and prime rib were really good.

Alot of good beers, tvs and the loaded waffles fries are great. The French dip is tough like jerky, probably because they use roast beef instead of prime rib(cheap!). They also have a terrible Reuben which has sliced corned beef with little to no flavor instead of nice juicy chunks. They have a roasted chicken dinner that’s microwaved! Go elsewhere

Good burgers and a decent craft beer selection. Our medium well burgers were cooked perfectly. My hubby ordered the Brew burger and wasn’t really impressed by the beer cheese. I kept it simple with a mushroom and Swiss burger. Waffle fries were yummy!

Lots of TVs, lots of beer, and some pretty good food. I usually order the Wrangler Burger or Wrangler Chicken sandwich. The portions are huge, and we always have fries left over. They have some good beer specials each night to go along with a great craft beer selection. They keep their chalkboard beer list updated regularly, but since the place is so big, if you can’t see it, they have up to date beer lists as well if you ask for one.

Have not tried the food so far, other user’s reviews have good food pics, so it’s just a matter of time before I go for dinner. I will say this, if this was sitting right next door to any other sports bar and I have the choice of which one to walk into-Brewbakers wins every time. Reality is that you usually end up at a sports bar by proximity to your location at the moment you decide to go to the bar — or — you are in a group going somewhere together. The point is, this Brewbakers location might be worth going out of your way for, great beer list dine up chalkboard style

This place is huge, with plenty of staff, plenty of TVs, a patio, and a game room. My chicken bacon cheddar tasted great, and the Tuesday daily special price was good($ 6.99). The sandwich was substantial, with plenty of fresh veggies, delicious bacon strips, and tasty chicken on a nicely toasted bun, but the waffle fries were over-cooked. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The dining area was clean with good background music. Very nice!

We had my friends 30th birthday here last night and it was great! We had Katelyn and she was so sweet and patient with us and was very helpful! The reason I am giving this 4 stars is because it took forever to get our drinks and she did forget a few times when we would order another. But I give her the benefit of the doubt as we were all over the place and it would be very confusing to keep track of us! The food was delicious and came out quickly. I had the southwest chicken wrap and it was really good! Very happy about how my friends night went! I also love that they use a lot of local places for their food and drinks!

Came here after the Chiefs game which I expected it to be loud, but they had the volume turned up so loud you couldn’t hear anybody talk to you, nor could you hear the game because it was so loud. Several people asked to turn it down just a tad but no response. Decent food and fun time but don’t expect to communicate with anyone in your group without having to yell at the top of your lungs

Meh. Way too loud to talk to someone across the table. The food is mediocre. The service was good and the drinks were good. There are just too many other choices to return here.

Great sports bar run by some really great people. Food is generally really good. Sometimes it is a little inconsistent in that the waffle fries, which they feature, can be a little well done or a little cold. We have sent them back a time or two but they were glad to do it and got it right. It’s just a little pricey but not too bad and the TV’s are great and lots of them. They always have the big events on and during baseball season it is a Royals bar and that is a great thing. All in all, Brewbakers is on our short list of best places in the KC Metro. We go there a lot.

I have had their burger, salmon, fish and chips, and one of the chicken sandwiches. All were good. I would give 5 stars but I got the chicken sandwich and wanted mayo. They charge 25 cents for mayonnaise so out of principal I will never eat here again.

This place is great! It can be super busy and loud, but it’s a sports bar really, so it’s expected. I love their burgers, but the jalapeño poppers are amazing! They aren’t the usual breaded kind. It’s a full pepper stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. Yum! The beer list is great. It’s changing, so there are always great options, and you can make your own flights!

Nice place. Lots of tvs!!! Pretty good selection of craft beers. They have a nice meeting space which can seat 20 – 30(i could be off). Large place with a nice patio. Visit this place!

The music is ridiculously loud, you can’t even carry on a conversation. The food is not very good, with little flavor. The only good thing was the drinks and appetizers, otherwise it’s not worth the money.

Brewbakers is a great place in Johnson County to get some craft brews, good food, and watch a game. It’s pretty trendy feeling inside. I’m sure they had your typical Johnson County residents in mind when they opened. Lots of TVs everywhere for when the Royals are on(and the Chiefs)! Really great tap selection with some unique beers on, unfortunately I had already had most of them before(Good or bad thing…) Service was very good and friendly. I ordered the Wrangler Burger and a couple beers. The burger was super good. Not the best I’ve had but the best anywhere in this area for sure! One of my beers was a little stale and I’ve heard from some other beer lovers that the kegs tend to sit a while here. Unfortunately the KC craft beer community is centered far from western Lenexa so I wasn’t surprised. They also had $ 2.50PBR tallboys that I had to finish with. With the meager selection of craft beer bars here in JOCO, Brewbakers is doing a good thing and I hope people continue to give them business. Beware, it is pretty pricey in my opinion…

We stopped in for lunch today and were very pleasantly surprised. Our server, Meghan, was great! Very attentive and a terrific personality – she made some excellent recommendations too. I had the bacon cheddar burger while Mary had a wrap and cup of squash soup. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. They had a couple of rooms for large groups, too.
