Park Edge Apartments

We had a short stay here. (Only about 3 months). While we were there the entire staff is super friendly and helpful! It has a great location to Shawnee Mission Park, especially if you have a dog that likes excise! The only things I didn’t enjoy was, we were on the first floor and had a HUGE problem with spiders. I probably killed at least 3, every day. You pay for pest control in your rent, but they just spray outside, so I’m not sure how helpful it is for inside. Also, we had a dog, and yes they provide bags to pick up after them, but the trash cans were all really far away from each building. Never really in a great location, and you don’t get your pet deposit back, which is a bummer. Parking wasn’t great either, but I’m not sure you’ll get great parking at any apartment without a fee. But, overall our apartment was very spacious, staff was very friendly, grounds were well maintained so I can’t complain too much.

My wife and I used to live here, and quite frankly, it was awesome. Super close to Shawnee Mission Park, right off 435, new developments near by. The staff was awesome and always friendly and helpful. The property was always well maintained and maintenance was prompt. The indoor-​outdoor pool was sweet but crowded on the weekends. The workout facility was «meh». It was all fairly older equipment that wasn’t maintained except for those of us who used them and the room was too crowded and often a sauna. My biggest, and only true complaint was parking. PARKING WAS AWFUL. Unless you wanted to pay a lot extra per month. Would still recommend as long as they didn’t raise rent. As of this post we paid $ 1100/​mo for 2 beds-​2 bath, pet fee, water, trash, pest and no parking.
