Sonic Drive-In

Ordered some chicken strips and tots at about 4:30. Seemed to be a little stale. My carhop was very nice.

Hit or miss on this Sonic. Sometimes they are spectacular and go above and beyond with fast and friendly service, other times they are slow as molasses.
I ordered dry toast one day after oral surgery and it came out literally dripping in butter. I buzzed back in and they said, «I thought you were joking about dry toast» Really??? No I want dry toast. Several minutes later they came back out with my toast, but did not apologize.
Another time I ordered 4 large drinks and various food items and they all can out perfect and the hop was very sweet and gave us coupons because she thought service was to slow.
It really just depends on the time of day you go and who is working that day, if you will get good or bad service.

So I’ve actually been here many times. When it comes to a chain i there can be many things that effect one days of service so I’ve been multiple times and had about the same service.
The GOOD: the reason they get any start is the staff there is super nice and is always willing to fix any problem that happens.
The BAD: most of the times I’ve been there my order has been screwed up in some way. Sausage instead of bacon on a sandwich, forgot a drink, toaster wasn’t toasted. Or at least twice slushie machine had been down.
The UGLY: the are WAY under staffed. I know of at least 3 times where it has taken over 15 min to get order. This last time it took 30min. The only reason I stayed was because I paid with my card. Cash only from now on so I can leave if I want.
But like I said before if you catch what they do wrong they usually are very nice to try and make it right.

The typical Sonic Drive-​in. Convenient and quick. I always stop at these places for a big Route 44 drink. Haven’t had anyproblems here with service or quality.

Cheddar bites are where it’s at.
