Sonic Drive-In

Another fast food place but what’s special about sonic is the drive up ordering and roller skating servers. They have a wide variety on the menu-​from burgers to popcorn chicken to grilled cheese to milkshakes. They are known for their limeades which you can mix and match the flavors of your choice. My favorite is the strawberry limeade. You can also get drinks for half price during happy hour (typically 2 – 4). I rarely get burgers from Sonic (not a huge fan) but the tator tots, corn dog, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches are pretty solid choices. The milkshakes are also pretty good. Although I tried the garlic Parmesan hot dog this last visit and it wasn’t good. The sauce they used was way too watery and soaked the bun. I also ordered a cookie dough milkshake but they forgot to put the cookie dough in it. It was a late night food run so I let it slide. I don’t usually have problems with Sonic. I recommend trying it if you haven’t before.

It was the first place we saw after coming down Highway 90 starting up on the BRP… Crossed Edgemont and Mortimer. Anyways the folks here were friendly and fast. They all went round and round in roller skate. I think the place next door is a family billiards.
