Shear Design is a top notch salon with a warm, inviting and professional staff. I have been a customer for over 20 years and with each passing year, Shear Design gets better. They are a business that has grown with the times and they are always cutting edge! I recommend them to everyone I know!

After so many years of trying out countless salons and never being fully satisfied with the results, I am SO glad I finally discovered Shear Design! Fran is not only a fantastic and very talented stylist, she’s also super fun! I look forward to every appointment. She and the rest of the staff make me feel welcome and relaxed. The salon is meticulously neat and clean. I would recommend Shear Design to anyone in the area.

A treasure in the Berkshires. Shear Design gets 5 stars in every aspect. From Debbie at the front desk, who works so hard to make sure you are scheduled and reminded of your appt, to each of the artists that work there. This a family owned business and every time I walk in, I am treated like family. (The family you LIKE!) Brigitte is my stylist, and she is meticulous about every detail, I recommend her highly, but also know, that no matter who you choose, Fran. Ken, Holly Leah Sarah, Kate and so many more, you will get a stylist who cares!
