We’ve fallen in LOVE w/the Leonardtown Pub. Being a long time resident of Leonardtown I had gotten so used the mediocre restaurants we have in town I was leery of giving the pub a try. I’m so glad we decided to give them a shot. We are definitely impressed and now addicted! Their wings are probably the best I’ve ever had! Super crispy & meaty. They have some great sauces or dry rubs to go w/them. Our personal favorites are the General Tso’s sauce, the Old Bay dry rub, & Steamed Crab(wings sprinkled w/Old Bay then tossed w/hot sauce) Their blue cheese dressing is made in house and is delicious… although w/it being made in house I’ve found some days its a little more flavorful than others. Crab dip is great, its a large crock filled w/bubbling dip & a nice large French baguette. Perfect amount of bread to dip ratio!(I hate when you go somewhere and order dip & they don’t give you enough bread!) Pizza is good as well, super cheesy & good topping selection. They also have a lot of different specialty pies.(if you like it more well done/crispy be sure to let them know ahead of time) Now almost as important as the food itself is the service. We’ve been to the pub 4 times now in the past month and each time service has been excellent. One evening we ordered a burger to share & when it came out the waitress already had it split in half and on separate plates. WOW! Normally I have to ask for an extra plate. It got even better when I noticed the burger did not have bacon on it as we had requested the waitress said no problem, seconds later she returned w/a huge plate filled w/bacon. There was at least 6 slices on there. Little things like that really make this place shine! They have several specials each night of the week(Monday wing night, Thursday pint night, etc…) Keep in mind on 39 cent wing nights they’re not allowed to give out boxes for you to take home your wings… learned that hard way when we ordered waaaay to many wings lol

Try the black and gold wings, loaded tots, and nachos with shredded cheese. And bring the defibrillator!!! Amy makes the best orange crush or ruby red crush in town. And the staff here is the most friendly and efficient! Awesome!

Bar food but a great little place in St Mary’s county. Good wings and cheap pitchers on Sunday.

Best food ever, I always crave their wings and nachos. I didn’t give it the 5th star only because when it’s crowded it’s so difficult to go to the bathroom or get a beer.

I remember coming here when this place was a Hardees! They did a great job renovating it from a fast food restaurant to the little pub it is now. Great drink selections and good, solid bar food, with friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Nice pub style atmosphere. Unusual layout as the building was originally a small bank. Nice selection of beer, and food is pretty good too. Gets very noisy and can be difficult to have a conversation with someone sitting next to you. Excellent staff.

Wow! 5 star service. The owner John is a stand up guy and really wants to take care of his customers. They even have a free phone charging station in there!

Great pub food and plentiful beer selections. The staff is always attentive and friendly. Parking can be tough at times but don’t let the amount of cars in the lot fool you… there will most likely be a table inside for you. If not, the turnover is usually pretty quick so be on the lookout for people getting ready to leave and then hover close to the table. Can’t be shy with this move. Plenty of parking just down the street with a short walk back to the pub. Outside seating is available for those perfect spring and fall evenings. Always a smile on our faces when we leave having just spent a relaxing time with good friends sharing good laughs and good food. I’ve even brought my in-laws here… and yes, I like them!

Great food, great wait staff. I had the fish and chips and it was very good. The point behind a pub is to catch up on the local happenings, and they deliver. If you want real local news, see your local pub. Great job guys! Keep up the good work!

I love the pub! My only complaint is that it has outgrown the building it is currently in. They need more tables/wait staff but the building simply won’t allow it! Overall a great place!

Had heard good things after moving to Maryland from Ohio and finally went tonight. Great atmosphere and the wings were amazing. Also got the soft pretzel appetizers and they were amazing as well. Will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a good wing place. Looking forward go going back to trying other items on their menu.

Ok… let me start on a positive note! Our bartender can’t remember his name(buzz cut with glasses) is totally awesome. Made me a yummy raspberry martini per his wise recommendation. Love the drink and him! Moving on to the food situation… Ordered the crab dip because my fiancée and I are somewhat crab dip connoisseurs by our on accord. Omg or as my beautiful mother that likes to be a leader and not a follower would say oml(oh my lord) that was the most absolutely depressing crab dip we have ever in countered in our lives! Not to mention the pizza. The fiancé gave it a 4. I say 5 but it took about 45 to an hour to come out… come on olde town pub seriously? Get yo shit together!

True bar food. Had the wings. Took the suggestions of Unilocalers and got the Old Bay Wings but thought they were a little too salty. Also had the Black and Gold Wings and bacon cheese fries… very good. Didn’t get drinks but will definitely consider them again for a quick bite.

Stopped by on Sunday because I was craving a cheeseburger and didn’t want to cook. Dragged my husband along with me. Started off with an appetizer of bacon cheese fries, mozzarella sticks and wings(that should have been old bay but came out as buffalo). Cheese fries were awesome, boneless wings were ok despite the fact they were the wrong flavor and the mozzarella sticks were just plain gross. Hubby had a chicken cheesesteak which he said was good. I had a cheeseburger which was good. We drank soda and water. No alcohol that day for us. Seemed to have a good selection of beers on tap. Food seems to be a little overpriced, but it was decent. Beer prices seemed reasonable. I’ll venture back and try something new. Hopefully we will have a new waitress — our seemed to be more inclined to socialize with the other waitress instead of checking on her tables. We had to get her attention when we needed something, so did the other table she had. Ohhh … can get really loud. Really, really loud.

Olde town Pub is one of the few restaurants in Leonardtown that thrives. It is the go-to place for many of the locals, especially on Monday nights when wings are a surprising 25 cents. If you plan to attend on wing night be prepared for a 20 – 30 minute wait to find a table(yes, I said find), as the hosts do not seat you. The food is incredible. I have never had a bad meal here. There are many flavors of wings, all equally delicious, my favorite being sweet and sassy. They are well known for their Old Bay wings, and for good reason. The atmosphere is kept up very well with big screen TV’s clean tables, and a very friendly staff. During the summer there is outdoor seating which is very appealing. The only complaint I have is parking, which can be very difficult to deal with. Because of the small parking lot, lines of cars fill the side streets, making it difficult to find a spot. Overall, an excellent little wing spot!
