Headed back to Texas and we were just looking for a place to eat when we found this spot. Very down home. I got the hamburger steak with onions and gravy on top. Really good and it came with baked potato, salad and roll. My son got a hamburger which he gobbled up. We decided to get desert which was homemade coconut pie and a strawberry short cake. We are so glad we stopped.

What an honor to be the first to Unilocal this establishment. I had eaten here in 1999 and remembered it but never pulled off the Hwy on my many travels past it. What a mistake. I had forgotten how fresh and wonderful my hamburger was then.
My wife and I decided to pull in for a quick shared Club Sandwich with a side of onion rings.
Leslie’s is a small diner from what looks like an old converted bank. Highly above average diner food prepared fresh and served with southern hospitality. It will no take me 14 years to return. WOW I have missing out in my travels past here.
