If I could give 6 stars, I would. Paul is one of the most professional people I’ve ever met, and I would highly recommend him for any electrician work you may need. We had a few small projects in our house (outlet installations, fan installation, etc), and he was able to quickly assess their complexity and give us a fair quote. Once we agreed upon the quote, he immediately got to work, and was able to finish all of the projects in less than 2 days (which was less than his original estimate).
I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, his courteousness, his promptness and his attention to detail. He was also very good about responding to phone calls and text messages, which, from my experience, is actually pretty rare in Long Island. Absolutely no complaints!

I made appointments with two different electricians and neither one of them showed up. I found Dial-an-Electrician on Unilocal and based on all the great reviews, I called to set up an appointment for a quote. They showed up on time and were very professional. They gave us a great price, explained everything they were going to do — We were so happy with them, they did the work right away and it was all done & cleaned up before I got home from work!
Very happy with their work and will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable electrician.

Very nice owner. Very prompt. The reason I am giving him a low rating is, he does not know electrical code. He stated I needed to upgrade to 300 amp service for a residential. The code states the max is 200 amp. Also stated my power line is too low too the ground. Being concerned, I had my local utility come by to correct the issue ASAP. They stated there is nothing wrong. Thinking the line man was being lazy. I had the code enforcement guy come by. He agreed with the line man. Also in the written proposal it was stated that he does not have the proper equipment to do the job.
I think this electrician is best suited for small jobs such as running lines and small jobs.

I used this service based on a previous positive review. Paul did all the necessary work needed to meet a home inspection report to sell my house. The prices were fair, he did a clean and presentable job and found a few issues that were overlooked by the inspector. I have moved to another state but would use him again if I returned to Long Island.
