«Where’s the fish?» Complete waste of time. Caught more fish from land than from the boat. The take for the entire boat(about 30 people) was about six small croakers. I got a four inch sea bass. I should have known that the groupon deal was an indication that we were not going to catch much.

We used our Groupon on August 15th. A Beautiful day and the Captain rode 6 miles past his normal run as he had info that a Humpback Whale was feeding. We had the most amazing experience — the whale breached 8 times while we were there. We also saw some dolphins but the whale was certainly the star of the show! Our tour lasted an extra hour — we totally appreciate the extra fuel that was burned and time taken to make sure we had the best experience ever. We’ve been to Alaska and didn’t see anything as awesome as this!

Good day fishing on the bay — groupon deal made it all the more worth it. Fish bite could’ve been better, but the captain did his best to try a variety of spots, which saw a variety of fish caught on clams and squid on the rods provided. Mates were very helpful too.

Bought the half day Groupon. First, the mates were fantastic helping my kids with the reels and getting fish off the hooks. The captain moved the boat about every 10 minutes and we were never able to really fish in any spot very long and only caught small fish. The boat must have had 50 people and only three fish were caught that could be kept. Overall still a good deal for four hours on the water maybe just a bad morning for fishing.

I went out recently with 5 of my grandkids on the Thelma Dale V. We started a half hour late on our 4 hour fishing excursion on the Delaware Bay. The boat’s restrooms were a disgrace, dirty and stinky, with no water in the sinks. The mates were friendly, but a bit inexperienced and didn’t keep up with giving us bait. We had to scrounge fresh bait for ourselves several times. The rental rods and reels were inferior and three of our 7 reels became unusable. The captain was sullen and just placed us on a spot out from Broadkill Beach which produced a small number of small croakers and a rare flounder. The trip cost $ 50 per adult and was one of those seldom exceptions to «a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.» I can’t recommend this boat.

Shrimp jerk tacos no jerk no spice, just plain boiled shrimp and the pineapple mango salsa were just big pieces of fruit way soggy for a flour tortilla. They need some help. The Philly egg rolls with shiraca ketchup were cold but are a good idea. The outside view nice. Eat somewhere else just go for a beer.

5÷2÷2015 Went on a half-day trip with a buddy to fish for tautog. The captain anchored down over one wreck for the entire trip even though the spot was not producing fish! The spot must have been a mile out from the marina. My buddy caught one 16″ tautog and a deckhand threw it back thinking the size limit was 16″ when it was actually 15″. It would’ve been a decent trip, but I think the captain was more concerned with conserving fuel and hearing himself talk about his time on Wall Street than putting us on some fish.

Myself and a buddy got a groupon to do the fishing charter from here. I was very pleased with the company. They were very polite and organized. They did a great job of finding the fish, and a great time was had! I would definitely consider doing that again!

If you want to get a glimpse of dolphins swimming and flying, fisherman’s wharf is up for this task. Hop on board their boat and they will get you to the spot where dolphins fluck. When you are hungry before and after the boating excursion, head to the restaurant next to it also called fisherman’s wharf I believe and enjoy the canal view and seafood.

Bought a groupon for this place for a 4 hr fishing charter(GROUPONBEWARE) for my dad for a Fathers Day present. Reserved this beginning of August(YES I TALKEDTO A LIVEPERSON) as I was coming in to PA the weekend after labor day to visit from FL. Now LEWESDE is about a 3 hour drive south from Philadelphia area and since the trip was 8−12PM we left quite early the to get down there in time. I called on the way down 6:30 ish… talked to the owner myself and asked do we still have a reservation. he says yeah yeah no problem. OK… so we get there with about 6 others waiting to get on the boat and I go up to the desk to check in give them my groupon. The women then tells me they aren’t going to be running the trip unless there is at least 12 people that show up… WO what??? So I proceed to tell her I reserved, called earlier, and not only was I told NOPROBLEM… there was no disclaimer(GROUPONBEWARE) that there was stipulations to the number of people to get on the trip… OH and then she started to tell me(WHILEMYMOUTHWASWIDEOPEN) that she wouldn’t be able to except my groupon if they did go out and I’d have to pay full price… So I walk over to the owner sitting there and tell him my issues… fathers day gift… made reservations… ect ect… So he makes us wait till 930am to tell us trip cxl and if we wanted to pay another $ 100+ dollars(WHICHITWAS) there was another boat leaving at the end of the marina that would take us out… If there wasn’t children there the things I would of said to that owner… MORALOFTHESTORY… DON’T MAKETHESAMEMISTAKEWEDID…
