Our family used to love this place growing up! It’s a shame how much it has changed!
The food quality has changed severely. They have added all types of new foods!
They added gelato… it is horrible!!!
Skip that frozen treat!

Ordered carry out late evening when all other pizza places were closed. Good pizza and wings, but wasn’t anticipating the amount of cost when ordering, albeit not off a menu but from guessing what they have versus didn’t have. The food was ready quickly and I was able to pick it up quickly and bring it home to a group of hungry people.
Visited another location earlier in the week and felt that was a much better value for what we ordered and received. Nothing wrong with this meal, just wasn’t expecting such a high price for the items received. Definitely recommend for late night snacking, regardless of the price!

This pizza is horrible. Frozen grocery store is more appetizing ! I can not believe they call it pizza. Crust was tasteless and the sauce was worst than tasteless.

16″ Pizza with Pepperoni.
$ 3.00 for any extra topping, but it was worth it. Pizza was mostly cheese, which I LOVE, and it wasn’t too greasy.
Great for beach food.

No way. This pizza was bad. Tiny, bland, dried-up, yet greasy slice cost me $ 2.50. Greasy cardboard. It’s embarrassing that they would proclaim themselves to be «legendary». They obviously count on hungry unsuspecting tourists swinging in, wasting their money on crap pizza that I wouldn’t feed to my dog, and then they don’t have to worry about them coming back because there will be a fresh new swarm of poor unsuspecting souls coming in on the next ferry.

The restaurant atmosphere is good and everything but the pizza is adequate. The pizza on the other hand, tastes like it is fresh out of the freezer — boxed– over priced and down right nasty.

There used to be a Grotto pizza in downtown Scranton, PA.
It was one of my favorite pizza joints in town. So, when I saw this in Lewes, I HAD TO STOP by.
To great disappoint, the pizza wasn’t the same. I’ve only gotten a regular cheese pizza once from this place. The price was three times higher than what I remember being as well. Not sure what happened. But, I did confirm from various sources that this was the same pizza joint/chain that hailed from the northeastern PA region.

I’ve eaten here several times. I always get pizza and they have been consistent great! The bar area is very noise but the dining area is quiet enough. Service has always been good.
