Great atmosphere great pizza but no parm cheese to sprinkle on top. Just plain strange.

OK Went for dinner the other night, positive first– The pizza was spot on, delicious as always. The wine very good. Now we slide into the negative… service, or should I say the LACKOF. This used to be a place to go for those that are from the area,(we used to go every Friday night when we are at our beach house) but now, well i didn’t know a soul there. I hope it improves before they reach the point of no return.

We ordered a cold plate for something light Mushy tomatoes, thick salami, cheap hoagie peppers and pedestrian smoked mozz. Very weak! Wine non de script Would not return

GREAT pizza!!! Loved it. Half Full is a very crowded place though, with a good amount of waiting time and NOT a great place for conversation. Their food and staff are great, though, and I would go back, just be prepared for the long wait this next time.

Love this place, but this visit we brought out son, no highchair or car seat holder. Staff seemed very unhelpful to accommodate us.

Excellent! Wine and Pizza — that’s the focus. They do both well. Variety of pizzas. Pesto, chicken, avocado, garlic, etc. choose them all.

The same owners run three restaurants in Lewes that used to be good — Striper Bites, Kindle, and Half Full. They each used to be charming, with great menus and excellent staff. They’re all changing — they’re losing their coziness and the menus are declining fast. Thankfully, new restaurants are moving in to town. Choose one of the newer places!

Half full has good food and drinks, but struggles a bit with the executing their untraditional serving method. It’s still worth a try! My girlfriend and I decided to pop in to try out the new location this weekend. When you walk in you are seated at a table, and provided drink and food menus. But you must go to the counter to order. Then they deliver the food and drink to your table. In my time there, I saw a couple get up to order at the counter and someone tried to steal their table. I also saw a waiter mis deliver a pizza to the wrong table. I understand there’s going to be growing pains, and hope the system works out. As far as food, the pizzas are square and served on a doughy flatbread like crust. The toppings are numerous, and yummy. My girlfriend and I tried the midnight something or other that had ricotta and onions and goat cheese and it was good, but not overly flavorful. They have a good selection of wine at reasonable prices.

We checked out the new location. My wife and I ordered the Mushroom Basil and Dublin Pizza. They both were good. I wish the Dublin Pig had more pork. It was a bit lacking. The Mushroom Basil was pretty good but I tasted very little basil and it was a tad greasy. Their crust is what makes them stand apart. The biggest downside is it isn’t very inviting for a family inside. It is more for adults as everything is table tops unless you eat outside which is seasonal. I don’t find that the most comfortable. I think I will order out for now on. I’m not sure if there is an upstairs or not. The décor on the inside is very nice though. It is very rustic with hand hewn wood for tables and trim.

One of my favorite places to visit in Lewes. The new location on Second Street offers more indoor and outdoor seating but still has the same cozy and casual feel. They have a great selection of gourmet pizzas and the crab & sweet corn pizza is amazing!

The pizza was great but the setting is not kid friendly. Nor is the menu, other than cheese pizza. No milk or juice on the beverage menu. Leave the kids at home or wait until they’re in middle school at the least.

Food was okay. Pizza had a nice crust but the Artichoke Goat Cheese pizza was really bland. The setup was the big detractor — there aren’t waiters here in the real sense. You order your food at the bar and have to go and ask for water. The seating is cramped, especially inside though outside you get crowded by everyone with drinks waiting for a place to sit down. Overall I have no desire to come back.

was in lewes visiting a friend and we decided to go to half full for dinner. the wine was excellent the pizza was out of this world. the star was the lobster pizza, and the cesar salad was perfect! make note of the fact that the dining area is very small, and you have to go to the counter to order your drinks and food.

Was here Friday night with friends. New place is new with same charm as old location. Food was awesome! The artichoke and goat cheese pizza was delicious. My only complaint is having to stand in line again(after already having to stand in line to order) to pay our bill. The wait staff should be able to take care of the bills.

Great pizza, great atmosphere. All though it needs more drinks for kids. We love the new location because we love the downtown area. Overall it’s a great place.

Unbelievably wonderful! The pizzas are Neapolitan flat bread styled pizzas. We had the pepperoni and the sausage with banana peppers, both were so amazing we ordered a third! We also had a salad of greens, pecans, cheddar, and apples. Plus a wonderful saison with lemongrass and basil as well as a favorite Pinot noir by Block Nine. We will be back!

We used to love this place in the old location. Cozy, friendly, attentive,… unfortunately all gone. Pizza still good, wine list still good, charm gone… And it is a Thursday! We used to come here all the time during the off season turned into another Lewes tourist trap with servers not even looking at the customers to see if they need another glass of wine. You have to go back to the cashier to order regardless if you have a table of 6. Sad that the ambition took over customer service… Not coming back

Excellent pizza! However, it is not a good place for little kids. No milk, no high chairs, no cup lids. They loved the pizza, though, so we will definitely be back for carry out!

My husband and I have been visiting Lewes for years and we love Half Full. The pizzas are always well made — we like the Chicken Pesto, Artichoke, Red Pepper and Goat Cheese, and their Margherita pizzas. They also have a great small wine list. It’s a smaller restaurant where you order at the counter and seat yourself so sometimes there is a wait, but it’s worth it. They have outdoor seating as well so be patient and I’m sure you will want to go back again and again.

I have been here many times, this place has excellent pizzas. The pizza is definitely the best in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area. The staff is very nice. The place is very small but, they are moving to a new location about a block away. The staff and the food has me coming back all the time!
