Romeo’s Pizza

Sauce is really good, makes the difference. The crust is good as well and you can tell that most of their toppings are fresh/​high quality. Not my favorite in town, harvest holds that spot, but I understand that is apples to oranges. For sure my favorite traditional chain, thus the 5 star.

The pizza is average. The garlic cheese bread was a big disappointment. Just a sub bun with some garlic butter and cheese melted on to it. I could have made that for free in the microwave. Also it was basically cold when delivered to me. Overall not impressed.

My husband and I order all the time from here. But the last time we had ordered from here they had messed our order up completely. They not only was late for the delivery… They also did not add the toppings that I had paid extra for on my pizza! The pizza actually did not taste cooked at all… All the veggies were still crunchy and the dough tasted gooey… My wings we’re cold and they were absolutely gross. I do not think i will be ordering here anymore!

My family and I have ordered from this restaurant many times and usually spend a pretty healthy chunk of change in pizza. Love the sweet sauce, the staff is ALWAYS friendly, polite and professional, the delivery drivers are always prompt and polite. I’m always impressed. After my miserable and infuriating experience with the Romeo’s on Bethel, I want to make sure to acknowledge the people who do know what customer service is about.

Love the Italiano pizza — the traditional Romeos sauce is a nice mix of sweet and tomato. Cooked well enough to have the toppings emerge with flavor

Always yummy! Best sauce in town! Delivery is always prompt and the people are always happy to share the latest specials. A great value and consistent products. Never let down!

We live in the area and have ordered from Romeo’s about three times in the last two months.
Pro:
— I liked the menu and pizza choices and there is a type of pizza for anyone to enjoy.
— Ingredients seemed to be of good quality
— I liked the dough/​crust, not too heavy and not too light
— Order is generally ready quickly
Con:
— It’s a matter of personal taste, but I find the sauce too sweet
— This is my biggest issue: toppings are extremely short. My last order had a pizza that had maybe half the dough covered with any sort of topping. It was mostly crust. Very disappointing for the cost. That case was extreme, but with my other orders the toppings were always sparse. I do believe you can have too much topping and I am not advocating that a good pizza has to be overflowing with ingredients on it, but it is very hard not to see what they are doing as just cost cutting and increasing their profit margin.
Overall:
— A potentially great pizza place, that falls short of delivering the value they should. It’s a shame as I would have liked to give them more of my business.

Always great Pizza at any location I’ve been to thus far. Quick on delivery and one of the best sauces I’ve tatsed.

DELICIOUS!!! This place has become my favorite pizza chain over the last few years. I first saw them on Food Network it was some kind of pizza competition… then I was super excited when this location opened on Old State. They always have great service and timely delivery. The sweet sauce isn’t for everyone but its definitely for me! The Great Ranch and Potato pizza lives up to the hype for sure… I was skeptical too… but don’t be… just do it. The ranch bacon sauce is so good. If you are like me and have a love affair with bacon… this place respects that and does bacon right… crispy and not shy with the amount added. Awesome. The cheese bread with the different meats is also very good as well as the jojo’s fully loaded up. I tell everyone I know about this place and recommend they get it in their lives if they aren’t hip. Don’t sleep on this place!

Good location with speedy service. They had me at pizza award winner! The sauce was a little too sweet for me and they were a little skimpy on toppings. Will probably give it another chance and try a specialty pizza. If it weren’t for the convenient location to my home I would probably not go back! Like I said, just a preference thing… Everyone likes different kinds of pizza.

I order a extra large Great Ranch & Potato pizza & it was amazing! Never thought such a weird combination would be so good! This is one of those pizza’s you definitely have to try!

The sauce is awesome!
Ordered the Italiano Deep Dish Pizza, which was on special for $ 12.99 (10 pieces)
And a large breadsticks that came with extra pizza sauce.
This meal was so delicious and perfect in every way, the pizza is on the top of my list for best pizza!
I will be going back again and again

This pizza isn’t any better than Little Ceasar’s which is disappointing. Not sure how they get off calling their marinara sauce zesty. There wasn’t anything zesty about it. And I didn’t appreciate being ignored by staff when I came in to pick up my pizza. How rude! I’m not from the area so I wouldn’t be back regardless, but I can’t even recommend this place to anyone who asked.

I am downgrading my review to a 4 star… They have great tasting pizza but I am no longer getting the great coupons that I was getting before. Also the last few times I got their Butchershop Pizza it seemed that they cut back on the meat compared to previous times. so the inconsistency I why I am downgrading them.

This pizza rocks… the Butcher Shop on Thin Crust is the best pizza I have ever eaten… plus they have some great coupons if you sign up for their Text Messages… for example they have had a coupon where you can get a large pizza with unlimited toppings for $ 10… I get the Butcher Shop on thin crust, and that is by far the best $ 10 pizza in Central Ohio…
My only complaint is they have messed up my order a couple times (at the Pickerington location) where they have given me regular crust instead of thin crust (or not asked what kind of crust I wanted and automatically give me the regular crust)… The regular crust is OK, but their Thin Crust along with their great sauce and great toppings is what makes it my favorite pizza…

I can’t see how this is an award winning pizza… Nothing special about it. The sauce taste like prego with sugar added to it. Not worth the hype.

Delivery Review!
Mild BBQ boneless wings are just yummy and dangerous for my diet! Side salad was filling and good with the low-​fat ranch. The calzone hawaiian/​bacon was good too, but super huge! Couldn’t eat that all in one sitting.
The sauce is good, but not mind-​blowing like everything says it is.

Romeo’s Pizza just opened a few weeks ago in Lewis Center where Minute Man Pizza was. They went around to various businesses giving them free small cheese pizzas and a handful of menus. My fiancé was one of the lucky ones who got such a treat and the next day we made our first order.
Looking through their menu online made me start to drool and notice that this is not your average pizza place. With items like caramelized onions, potato, broccoli & 6 different sauces to pick from makes this pizza place stand out. When my eyes came across their Great Ranch & Potato Pizza which was voted Best Gourmet Pizza in America 2004 I knew what I was going to order. Great Ranch & Potato on their hand tossed dough and a pepperoni on thin was going to make my night if done correctly.
The manager and employees at Romeo’s were incredibly nice and polite when I went in 5 minutes before they closed to pick up my pizzas. While driving home the smell of the pizzas were driving me insane. When I got home and was finally able to see the Great Ranch & Potato Pizza my jaw dropped and when I took that first amazing bite I heart melted. Hands down the Great Ranch & Potato Pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted.
The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the caramelized onions were to die for. I was a little taken back by the ranch flavored almonds that were garnishing the top of the pizza since I am not a huge nut fan but they added the perfect crunch and complimented the rest of the toppings. The bacon ranch sauce was not over powering but would change the entire dynamic of the pizza if it were not there. The hand tossed dough hand a nice crisp crust to it and was soft and chewy on the inside, which in my opinion is the perfect crust.
The thin crust pepperoni is everything a thin crust pizza should be. The crust was crisp and crunchy, you could taste the tomatoes in the tomato sauce, the cheese was melty and well, cheesy, and the pepperoni had a little spice to it.
Next time we ordered pizza it was from Romeo’s this time trying their Philly Cheese Steak Pizza but got half with chicken on it to change it up a bit. I didn’t think it could get better than the Ranch & Potato pizza but rest assure it did. It had the same bacon ranch sauce and was topped with crisp green peppers, caramelized onions, steak on half, chicken on the other and tons of gooey provolone and American cheese. I personally liked the steak side better while my fiancé enjoyed the chicken side more. I have had a lot of great Philly Cheese Steaks and this tasted just as good as a real Philly Cheese Steak.
I would recommend this pizza place to anyone and have recommended it to many people already.
