Quality and service have gone down over the years. Chips are super fries and greasy and salsa isn’t fresh at all. Food is just okay nowadays.

Absolutely love it! Great food, great service! I love the chicken ramona! I think its the best plate they have and I’ve been to Señor Antonio many many times, we’ve been going almost every other week for the past 6 months. To not feel too guilty I tell the waiter to use more lettuce and just a little bit of rice and it’s just amazing! My boyfriend always gets the chicken chorizo and the margarita frozen with the corona on top, he loves it! If you go on a friday try to get there before 6:30pm so you don’t have to wait. But the wait is so worth it!

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times, and the service and food has been consistently great every time. I highly recommend.

Señor Antonio’s is a suburban strip mall restaurant serving up what their clientele like. I’ve been here a few times over the years, and have found the food quality to be consistent and the service very professional. The dishes and sauces are lightly spiced, so it is a place to bring non-adventurous eaters and those with gentle stomachs. The light spice is a plus, however, when it comes to their seafood dishes — my preference when eating here. Their shrimp fajitas are excellent(ask for corn tortillas if you prefer them), as well as their del mar entrees. Not overwhelming with the spice, so the quality of the seafood comes through. All in all, a good experience every time.

Wow. Is this an American version of Mexican food or what? If you like spice. Do NOT go here. So many people like it in the reviews but my husband and I were both disappointed. I got s combo so I could taste a variety. I can say without reservation. I didn’t enjoy any of the choices. I love Mexican food. Next time i Will go to Hass or el Vaquero.

Dined here on a busy Friday evening and were seated after a very short wait. Waiter service was attentive and food was OK+ in my opinion… not GREAT but not crappy either. Chips and salsa were excellent! My issue was with the tab and what I discovered a few days later w/my CC. I paid with a CC and gave the waiter a cash gratuity. 3 days later my CC statement was $ 10 more… a quick telephone call took the extra $$ off but I am put off by the fact that the restaurant ADDED a tip they thought I had not granted… BAD way to go folks!

I had this last night for the first time, as takeout. It was average. In fairness, I threw it in my fridge first for a few hours and then heated up in the microwave so I probably didn’t get the real experience. My tamale had a crusty little nub on the end that I think I was supposed to eat, but was inedible. The cheese enchilada was good, the beans were good. The rice had peas in it, which I don’t like, but otherwise the rice was fine.

Let me start by saying that I think the food is great. I really enjoy their selection and the food always tastes fresh. The reason for the 3 stars is due to one of the female employees who runs the cash register(I think she’s part of the family who owns the establishment). I have honestly never experienced such an unpleasant and down right rude attitude from someone I was giving business to. She gives the impression that she is SO annoyed by your presence– doesn’t say hello, goodbye, or thank you. Like I said, I love the food but honestly her attitude makes me hesitant to go there and often times I don’t as a result. Shame– someone needs to get her some lessons in customer service and overall professionalism.

Awesome service! I had the Enchilada del Mar. Wow! Amazing! I have worked as a chef and I was extremely impressed! I tested my boyfriends chicken enchilada, the meat was tender and full of flavor! I loved it! Waiter was attentive! Wish I knew his name, on check it said server 9! Would have been a 10 but bathroom was freezing! Business was extremely clean, waiter held plate properly, fingers off rim of plate! Held glasses correctly. I notice the little things! Will be back!

When your margarita is awful, that does not bode well for the rest to come. My daughter’s taco meat was super wet, made the shells immediately soggy. .the salsa was bland, the enchiladas were bland… the upside to the pre-made generic food was that it came out quickly, and as I was starving, that and the service are the only things preventing a single star rating.

The food here is so so. Nothing great but not horrible. I’ve had much better… prefer El Vaquero.

Chicken Nachos were absolutely horrible! The chicken was watery and it soaked the chips within minutes of arriving at table. Service was very poor too! Stopped in around 3:30PM on a Sunday, there were about 3 – 4 tables filled. It took us over 20 minutes to order, then food came, waiter never returned to check on us so my sons meal was a waste since we had to leave and didn’t have time to replace Chicken Nachos. At checkout, I was asked about the food and stated that it was not very good. Cashier took my credit card and said nothing back. This place is way over priced, poor quality, poor service. Not sure how it got good rating on Unilocal???

Excellent chips and salsa, tastes fresh and house made. I had the beef chimichanga, it was flavorful and the portion size was generous. I left full, with leftovers. I also enjoy the décor, it’s tasteful and and not the«off-the-wall» bright colors and obnoxious music you typically find. Clean and simple. We’ll be back again :)

Finding good tex-mex in Columbus has undoubtedly been a huge challenge of mine. Columbus has great taquerias. don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to this Americanized version of fare… I just can’t seem to find any place to get me giddy and excited aside one hole in the wall place out in B.F.E.(See El Picacho in Mt. Victory) I was still skeptical about Señor Antonios, but my fellow Unilocalers helped me throw away any dismal thoughts and give this place a try. Usually when you enter these Tex-Mex joints you’re bombarded with signage galore exclaiming«BESTMARGARITAS.» and note that many Unilocal reviews will say. «The Margaritas were wonderful» but not much is said about the food itself. Señor Antonio’s is probably one of the few Tex Mex places I would be inclined to eat at around Columbus. They are probably a half a step up from El Vaquero, but all in all. it’s still the same pre-prepped, microwaved to hell… sloppy food you’re used to at most Tex Mex restaurants. The only thing redeeming was their chorizo and queso appetizer… so yummy. gooey and extremely unhealthy, but IMO worth the splurge.

Good, casual Mexican food; lots of choices on the menu. $ 6 for a kid’s meal seems a bit steep, but the kids enjoy the food, so…

Been here a few times for lunch with folks from work. That is probably the only thing special about this place for me. It is convenient place to go for lunch with a group of friends. The food is pretty typical Mexican fare. I really cannot get too excited about any of the entrée’s that I have had. Portion sizes are large and filling. Price is comparable with similar Mexican restuarants(and so is the taste). The service has been efficient and fast, but quite impersonal. Everything feels so rushed(and there were a lot of tables open in the restuarant). I’ll likely go here again when my coworkers are looking for a place to go for lunch it is good price and close proximity. The food is not bad, just nothing special to write home about.
