Skybox Sports Bar

This bar should be Jon Taffer’s next rescue… really bad service, menu offers only frozen food, poor beer selection and all the owner can do is stand behind the bar drinking beer after beer. Probably why this fairly large bar was almost completely empty on a Friday night at 7pm.

I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to Skybox for helping me make my hubby’s 40^th birthday party a great success. I HIGHLY recommend this place for a super-​fun casual celebration. Anna at Skybox was so helpful — I can’t even begin to say. The food she catered was perfect, she worked with me to help me have everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. She set up for the party, picked up after, and saved my decorations and cake for me to pick up the next day so I didn’t have to worry about anything that evening but my guests. And the cost was SO REASONABLE!!! It was a perfect evening, thanks to the attention of Anna!

Skybox is the bomb! The owners are great and so are the prices. It’s one of my favorite bars in the Polaris area!

I LOVE SKYBOX! The owner is fantastic… The other customer who wrote up that horrible review must’ve really done something to make the owner upset because the owner is extremely hospitable and kind. Great prices, and a nice after work hang out spot!

After a bad customer service experience due to the owner last time we were at Skybox, we decided to give it another shot because the location is convenient for our group.
Our fun night out was cut short by a rude comment made by the owner. The situation escalated and then ended with the owner yelling expletives from behind the bar. Yelling horrible things at customers is never acceptable. Being in the customer service industry, the owner should be welcoming and hospitable to customers, not rude and argumentative. Everyone in the bar was visibly uncomfortable.
If looking for a bar in the area, I would recommend spending your money at an establishment where the ownership appreciates your patronage.

cream cheese pudding shots for 1 $ or if your looking for cheap drinks check the chalk board! Good music playing in the back ground. Really nice bathrooms. Lots of space to move around. Very clean. Great bar in the strip mall, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Caribbean Jerks down the way. Great place to have an office party or bring in a large group of friends for pool and drinks!

Starting to get some good beers. The always have a few taps dedicated to Southern Tier as well as Brecknridge and some others. Staff is really nice. TV’s, Darts, Pool. A good little place to hang out on Polaris.

I came here as part of an impromptu Polaris-​dive-​bar crawl shortly after I moved to the area.
It’s unassuming from the outside — part of a strip mall, nothing special. Once inside, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Southern Tier Double IPA was on draft (!!!), dart boards and other bar games were available, and jello shots were in the fridge.
Not a must-​go-​to destination but I’ll definitely stop by again.
