Ok… So I was a regular at Joes before it became this place. I have been here since the change, but never felt compelled to write until now. The food is a notch up, but not 3 notches up as the increased pricing assumes. The service has also gone from tolerable to just simply pathetic. They want you in and out as fast as possible. Which is baffling, because no one is waiting to get in. It was fun here before, Im not sure why it had to change. Whatever the reason, the hometown«Cheers» feel which had familiar faces and local good times has given away to a need to try to keep up with the uppity socialite crowd. Its a shame as this area needed what it was before. Not what its trying to be. I rarely go here now, I used to everyday. Good luck with youre new idea of progressive or whatever you are trying to wannabe. This ex hardcore favorite is moving on.

Atmosphere has improved since name change, staff was very friendly and food was good. Even though the food is a step up, was a little more costly than I expected. Will go back, but not as often as there are many other choices in that price range.

Came last night for a quick drink with friends. House chardonnay was good. Tonight, a meal. Hangover burger cooked perfectly to order. Hubby got wings. Said they were good and he would get them again. Let’s talk about cheese curds. Deep Fried. Lovely. Pizza sauce to dip. Yum. Décor is so much better than when it was Av.Jo. lighter, and not as noisy. Local hangout for sure, very comfortable setting. Servers are good. Give it a try. Will be back to try other things.

I can only give a brief review, as I was only there for a quick visit, but I liked what I saw! First, the remodel from what was once Average Joe’s(I think) is great! It’s brighter, more open, and just makes more sense overall. I love the center bar with the taps all highlighted. The noise level was bar-ish, but light enough that we could easily have conversations between the two tables my group occupied. I wasn’t getting food, but others in the party did and it looked great! Black bean burger, Italian sausage burger and a buffalo chicken sandwich… yum yum. I ordered a brownie and it was just delightful! I definitely will be returning at another point to try more food and more drinks.

3rd time here, pleasantly surprised. We definitely like this better than the Joe’s that used to be here. Plan to make a regular stop. Good food, good beer selection. Cocktails need some help. Watch out for the ginormous full wings, very tasty but bigger than we had anticipated. Not complaining, we just didn’t know we were getting fully articulated wings.

A great place for a brew and some good bar food. We’ve gone several times and have only had one server who was more interested in what was on TV than her job, other than that the servers are all great. The salads are good, the pizzas are good, the burgers are really good but my faves so far are their portabello stack and Cuban sandwich — yum! Portions are good sized and the prices are reasonable. So far the only things that didn’t work for me were the wings(they were just ok) and the shrimp fritters which were too hard and crunchy for me. If you’re in the area stop on in and pull up a stool at the bar.

impressive! Perfect changes to décor, food and beer selections. Chicken sandwich was best i have ever had and kobe sliders were super! Get a christmas ale before they are gone!

Well, this is our 3rd and probably our last time to this establishment. We waited over 15 minutes before we got our drinks. Not to mention, they were out of just about every ‘brew’ we ordered! The service is unbelievably awful! We really wanted to like this place as it is close to home. My husbands potato chips had been sitting around all day and were stale. Really? Ugh! Our favorite place in town is The Pint Room in Dublin and we love, love, love it there, but this place just doesn’t compare! I gave it a 2 because they at least had cherries for my drink.

Excellent beer selection, cocktails and food!!! I am a food snob. Work hard, play harder! This is the sister bar/restaurant to the pint room. They have 60+ beers on tap(you are able to get 2 dollar 5oz beers to sample), a generous and unique cocktail selection and fantastic food that I would consider upscale bar food(pizza, wings, burgers and salads). We had chorizo balls, wedge salad, hangover burger and garlic truffle fries. My husband and I ate until we actually couldn’t even drink anymore. Jared, the bartender was friendly, attentive and just a nice guy. This is definitely going to be «our place.» My husband who LOVES wings, wants me to mention that the wings are the best! You get the drum and the wing(so 6 is actually 12). I’ve never loved wings as it feels like I’m eating chicken skin, but these were meaty and good. We can’t wait to go back!

Man, I’m so glad I took a chance on this. The lady and I were in the neighborhood — and being hungry we pulled into this strip mall. «Brewzaa… sounds like a bar.» It was this or Thai or Subway. Luckily, we checked Unilocal, and saw all the reviews for pizza and their great tap selection! Talking to the server — they’re affiliated with The Pint Room in Dublin — and I love that place, so it was even more points in their corner. Whereas the Pint Room is burgers(and delicious ones at that) — their focus was pizza. Two individual pizzas were too much for us — and something like 60 taps? I wish they were closer to us — the pizza(pepperoni and the meatzza — I think) were fantastic. I hope they get to open another location closer to Powell!

Came in on Saturday to grab a quick bite to eat. Atmosphere was nice. Bar was very open and the bartender Carrie was very friendly, super attentive and very fast. She suggested I try one of their craft beers which was great. I had the Fresh Squeezed IPA. The menu had some great options, I got the cheese curds as an appetizer and got the sliders which were even more amazing because they had bacon jam. I would definitely recommend both.

Staff is wonderful, friendly, and courteous. The new gastropub menu is top-notch and there are plenty of beers to pair with your meal. I strongly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

Second visit(for dinner) on a Thursday evening proved to be a better experience with service and food. Our party of three ordered two burgers, a wedge salad, and a topless salad. The burgers were cooked to order as was the burger for the salad. The wedge salad was very good(ordered w/out cheese). The fries remain horrible — PLEASE bring back the old fries OR change to something not covered in butter/oil. The server was attentive and the manager stopped by a couple of times to check on us. Based on their improvements, we’ll consider going again. Still miss Original Joe’s neighborhood unfussy hangout atmosphere(and the fries, wings and smokehouse burger).

Better food, atmosphere and beer then Joe’s! Nice job on the upgrade. We’ll be coming back many times.(The chorizo balls were awesome)

Our experience was less than average. The beer selection I was hopeful based upon the promoted pint room affiliation. But it was disappointing. The food was less than average; I was never a huge fan of Joes food but this menu is trying to hard to get to the gastropub approach and significantly under delivered. The staff was the same as it was with Joes slow and lacking attention to service. I was underwhelmed in every aspect.

Just ate here for the second time: they’re continuing to get better. Had the Belly of the Beast pizza with pepperoni substituted for chorizo against Nice char on the and the outer crust was crisp and delicious. My wife and daughter enjoyed two side salads and pastas. The positives: better use of the space of the old Original Joes and a better wine selection. The beer selection is great and on par with Local Roots, Kraft House and Beer 101, and I’m told they have rotating selection. Previously, my wife and daughter both got burgers and both raved about their side of mac and cheese. Overall, worth a return visit and definitely a great addition to Lewis Center’s restaurant scene!

Our family decided to try this new restaurant on our way up to the Perkins Observatory(recommended). The waiting area was a generous size and it contained family friendly games like Connect 4 and Battle Ship. This was a nice bonus. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait. I walked to the bathroom and noticed a 4 top was available. I let the staff know we wouldn’t mind squeezing in if we could get seated sooner. They kindly allowed us to do this so we only had a 5 minute wait. The service was courteous and prompt. Not overly friendly but that was fine because all our needs were met. Our 3 kids ordered pizzas from the kids menu. The pizzas were huge and really a great deal at $ 5 each. We ended up taking an entire pizza home. My husband and I split a large salad(not sure of the name because the waitress recommended and brought us a big one to split). It was a chopped type salad with banana peppers, Kalamata olives, mozzarella, and a vinaigrette. It was nice and spicy. We also ordered the bacon and goat cheese pizza. It was good but not really what I was expecting.(Maybe I should have read more carefully.) It would have been the perfect pizza for some caramelized onions and a non traditional sauce. The crust was awesome and perfectly cooked. The sauce is heavy on the oregano and light on the basil. I prefer my sauce with more basil but it was still good. The kids also ordered cheese curds. Those were tasty little dudes but they missed the mark with a dipping sauce. Spicy mayo or even pizza sauce would be best. Instead the curds were served with ketchup. The husband enjoyed the beer and I thought the house Chardonnay was tasty. Overall we had a great experience and good solid food. I’d definitely visit this restaurant again.

Definitely a place trying to get established. The staff was friendly. The vibe isn’t the same as Joes. Joes was a place to hang out with family and friends and watch the game. Brewwza’s is more of a date night /adult kind of place. The food was OK. My daughter ordered the kid’s chicken fingers, and they come out burnt. The waitress thought they were dark due to the batter, but the manager immediately got her another order(and took it off the bill). The Cuban sandwich was very good. The mushroom pizza was interesting. The crust was excellent, but we didn’t pay enough attention to the menu, there was no cheese on the pizza. That made it weird, a little goat cheese would have made it excellent. The beer selection was good. We didn’t have to wait for a table, but we ate early on a Saturday night. I’d say give it a chance, but be prepared for a change from Joes.

Waited forever — clearly overwhelmed by the Friday night volume. Staff was apologetic and bought us a round of drinks. Food took over an hour from when we placed. This place has some issues to work out. Brought little kids some chips because of the long wait that left a lot to be desired and were soggy/cold. Will give it one more shot due mostly to location. I have no issue with a new restaurant taking some time to get food out to ensure quality food, processes etc. Think it is fair to say they have some work to do, but there is potential here.

The Brewzaa is awesome! Bring the kids. Come with friends. The pizza is great! There are also a few items on the menu that you can find at the Pint Room(same ownership) but don’t come because of that. This is not the Pint Room. The Brewzaa stands on its own. Try the pizza. This is their specialty. We had the Margarita Mexican and also a meat pizza called Belly of the Beast. These two pizza’s were excellent. I could have had more. Also 60 beers on tap. A lot of tv screens so would be a great place to watch a game. We will definitely be back. I only wish I lived closer.
