Service is 5 stars the Phở is only 3 stars but that may be the hardest soup ever to make so I’ll definitely go back and give it a second try. Only place in Lewiston that has real Phở so they don’t have to worry about the competition beating them out. After all a descent bowl of phở is still better than most other things you can get at a restaurant these days. Keep up the good work!

The food is spectacular, the chef very nice and spoke with us a few times during the meal. I can’t wait for them to move to a larger location so that I can bring more friends and family to enjoy. The phone and dumplings were incredible.

Delicious wholesome food. The fresh spring rolls with home made sauces were fabulous! The chef/owner is very personable. The setting is surprisingly pleasant and should be even better once they move. What a great find!

Don’t let the store front fool you… this is the real deal! It’s what I picture authentic asian street food to be. Everything from phở, ramen, to pad thai and dumplings. Its all there. Zack, chef and owner is clearly passionate about food and it shows. I’d give him 10 stars on a scale of 1 – 5!

Excellent tiny place. Ramen was delicious, as was the phở and Vietnamese sandwiches. Note that they are closing in a couple of weeks(mid April 2016) and relocating closer to downtown. They will open again after a month or two.

Wonderful Phở. Crab rangoons were cooked perfectly and made with real crab! All ingredients are locally sourced — farm to table. Everything we had was fantastic. Small space with limited seating– but worth the wait. Cook/owner very friendly and interactive.

I loved every menu item I tried… crab rangoons, veggie spring roll(I ordered this after seeing a customer next to us eating it) fried pork dumplings, meat on a stick and chicken fingers. The place is super small. Maybe 6 – 8 seats max. The guy cooking was awesome. It was like being at a taping of cooking show. Totally entertaining. Can’t wait to go back this summer. I would NOT go at lunch time unless I was getting a to go order. People were waiting for our seats when we were there! Keep up the great work!

Found an awesome little gem while doing business in Lewiston. Great food and it’s a attached to a gas station, loved it. I had the Phở which was excellent, as good as any restaurant in Portland. I then moved on to a sandwich called Banh Mi which I have never had, it’s like a Vietnamese Cuban but better. I saved some room for the crab Rangoon which was a home run. Not sure about other items on the menu, I will be trying them next time I am in the area. I almost forgot, Zack the owner, great customer service and super friendly.

Excellent food! Friendly staff! I went with my Vietnamese boyfriend, born and raised in Southeast Asia. We had doubts about a place in a Maine suburb, but we were certainly pleasantly surprised. Authentic, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. I hope they can upgrade to a larger location some day! It’s definitely easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.

This place is AWESOME. Don’t let the gas station location throw you off. Everything that spot on delicious. The Phở was delicious and we were told also no MSG added. I had the Chefs special Ramen with duck(extra $ 5) but it was cooked and seasoned to perfection at a medium rare. Plus the Bubble tea is also probably some of the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. This place is a complete diamond in the rough. This place makes me wish I was in town for longer than a night.

If you haven’t been to Boba yet, go fast! I never expected to find Phở near home and was completely surprised. The broth, holy cow is it good! And the local beef, awesome. For a giant bowl of Phở with all the fixings, the price can’t be beat. I’ll be making this one of my go-to places for sure.

NOTHING like good local food. There is no fancy or trendy sign to draw you in. It’s in the Coast to Coast gas station on the corner of South & Lisbon. Seats 5 at the counter so if your time is crunches order to go. The owner cooks right in front of you & is totally engaging while he cooks & you eat. Ask for the Tarot fries. It’s all good though.

I haven’t even gotten my plate yet, but I’m giving them 5 stars, for friendliness, atmosphere and shear enthusiasm about the food he prepares. He and his wife were smiling, helpful and knowledgeable. Don’t let the fact that it shares a space with a gas station deter you from trying it. We’re definitely coming back.

I’ve ordered there a couple times now(we were very excited about a Phở place in the area), and I will say that the food is here is AMAZING. I strongly encourage you to dine in at this little shop — the hospitality is unmatched. I loved hearing about the locally grown food, and talking with the owners about their journey thus far. I suggest trying the dumplings — extremely elegant, great flavor, as fresh as can be. The rangoons are easily the best I have ever had. Me and my partner both love to get the Phở — I was recently turned on to such a great dish and it is difficult to find such authenticity in Maine. This place is the real deal. Generous portions, fresh, local fixings, tons of noodles, and a broth to die for. Finally, if you go, you have to try the bubble tea. I had the strawberry, and it was better than the bubbles tea’s I’ve had in both DC and Boston. Seriously, if you havent tried this place, you are missing out

Great food and friendly service. Zack(one of the owners) clearly enjoys making good food and is very friendly. The spring rolls we had were awesome and the phở was really good as well. Got a taste of some of the pad thai and it’s great too. Boba teas are great. Keep up the good work. Edit: Not as happy about this place now. Twice my wife and I have shown up to get dinner, but there’s no where to sit so we just left, and we’ve called to try to order for takeout with no answer as well. We probably won’t bother again until they can successfully serve a larger customer base beyond the five seats available.

If I could give this spot 30 stars I would. This place is an fantastic! I’m all ready a fanatic about this place, and I already have plans to go back. The owners are just genuine nice, friendly people! :) Food severed HOT and FAST! Drinks GREAT! Yes it’s in a gas station but truly you can’t judge a book by its cover! Anyone who passes this place. You are majorly Majorly MAJORLYMISSINGOUT! But that’s fine. MOREFORME!

My wife and I were so excited to hear we were getting a new Asian restaurant in Lewiston, and when we finally visited Boba, we were not disappointed in the least! The food at Boba is fresh, reasonably priced, and tasty. The owners and staff at Boba are friendly, lively, and accommodating. They were genuinely welcoming and excited to serve us. It was certainly a joy visiting Boba. When we let the staff at Boba know we were vegetarians, they enthusiastically pointed out all the veg-friendly options on their menu. They even promised to have a vegetarian friendly Phở by the time we made our next visit. I highly recommend the Kosher Bahn Mi. It is made with a delicious marinated tofu, pickled carrot and daikon, and a whole host of other fresh veggies, herbs, and spices. The French baguette the sandwich was served on was soft and delicious. Lastly, I must mention the bubble tea. If you haven’t tried it, today is the day. The flavors are fruity and exotic. The tapioca bubbles are a sweet surprise. Do yourself a favor and visit the newest Asian restaurant in L/A, Boba! 6−8−15 We returned to what is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in L/A, Boba tonight. I had a chance to try the Vegetarian Phở with steamed tofu. Goodness! What a tasty dish! I ordered the ‘wicked big’ and they weren’t kidding. I think I have enough for three meals. Wow! The flavors were expertly blended ad balanced. What a symphony of deliciousness! The veggies were crisp and fresh. I can’t say enough about how great this little restaurant is. Oh, and the avocado bubble tea was delicious as well. Well done, Boba. Well done.
