In town for an event and wanted some lunch that wasn’t fast food. So we decided to stop in at Jeffery’s. It’s not fancy a little run down next to a bowling alley but, the food was good and reasonable. The hubby got the liver and onions and chose the French fries as a side. What a pleasant surprise when the meal came to see they were fresh hand cut fries. Delicious! His also came with green beans and dinner roll. His was just under $ 10 but, he did add a side of bacon. I got the chopped steak burger with onion mushrooms and it came with mashed potatoes gravy, green beans, salad and dinner roll. $ 11.20 and I couldn’t finish it. On the way out to pay I noticed the pies in the case which looked homemade and I was told they were. Will have to try some next time.

Went there for breakfast: the service was average, the food was OK. It’s an old place and has the standard regulars in for coffee and visiting. This place is old and in need of a good thorough cleaning, paint and updating. As I mentioned, there were many regulars, so they’re doing something right, however, it’s not for me.

Always clean. Service always good. Food always very good. Great well run hometown diner. Jeffery can cook an egg like no other. Cathy is always friendly. The morning regulars are hilarious.
