Great Whoopie Pies, but the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
The continually get orders that are placed in advance wrong, and don’t really seem to care. So disappointing! and the rude staff just makes it worse.

Got a whoopie pie. Didn’t have fresh vanilla on hand, so I received a packaged one. Didn’t matter — tasted delicious, and was not cloyingly sweet like so many desserts. Perfectly sweet.

Labadies’ is known for it’s Whoopie Pies and for good reason– they are utterly addictive. They remind me a great deal of the Hostess Cupcake but much bigger and very retro. My only disappointment is as much as I like them it doesn’t really taste very «Whoopie» to me because they don’t have a fluff filling which is what Whoopies are really famous for. How could they ignore the fluff???
You can purchase in stores or even online which is nice if you’re craving it and nowhere nearby but shipping will cost you as obviously you don’t want baked goods taking 5 days shipping and when you order online you have to buy at least a dozen small ones– again no small amount of change but they are freezable so if you’re desperate you may as well indulge.
They still taste great– how they get the cakes to be so light and moist– I don’t know but I just can’t give them 5 stars without the fluff.
