Kim cuts our hair. My wife and teen girls love how she cuts, colors, and styles their hair. They have a wonderful, relaxing experience. The prices are reasonable and Kim is really friendly. I would recommend her to anyone!

I went to brandy to get my eyebrows waxed when I was in Clarkston for the weekend, she did a fantastic job for a great price.

I recently moved to the valley and moxie looked like the most professional salon in town. I was able to make a same day appointment for a cut and color. I told katy (my stylist) that I wanted an ombré effect and she assured me that she can do that.
When I got there, I wasn’t really greeted. I brought many pictures of what I wanted and she suggested something that I didn’t want. She then snapped at me saying «well I don’t know what you want then»! I told her that I wanted what was in the pictures. She colored and cut my hair without really talking to me. She cut and styled my hair without me looking. She finally let me see what she did and she gave me grow out! It looked like I haven’t colored my hair in a few months. She also didn’t completely cut the hair around my face!
I was so upset that I emailed the manager and I didn’t hear from them for a few days. I finally called and the manager told me that they don’t «communicate through email»! So I told her how upset I was and she offered to redo my hair but I was put of town so that wouldn’t work so I wanted my money back. She said that I would have to talk to katy about that. She took my phone number down and said that she would call me. It’s been a week and a half and no call. The whole experience was so unprofessional.

Dawn is a good colorist, and is really nice. The rates are very reasonable. Color and a trim for $ 75. The color began to wash out some after 30 days. Decent salon, not very fancy. Relaxed atmosphere. Only complaint is the chairs are uncomfortable. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Moxie is a high-​end Paul Mitchell Focus Salon offering a wide range of services: hair, massage, tanning, nails, makeup and up-​dos. They specialize in cuts, coloring, extensions and full-​body waxing.
This hip salon is located on Main in Lewiston and has two floors. The stations in the basement are managed by owners Rachel, Michelle and Kim, definitely the most popular stylists there. Rachel cut and colored my hair the first time and did an amazing job. However, I recently went to Mandy on the main floor and she did a great job on my cut and color as well.
I think they intentionally select quality stylists to manage the individual stations in order to maintain their high standards and positive reputation.
The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming; while it is a high-​end salon, I’ve never felt self conscious or uncomfortable there. Just be sure to schedule enough time for your appointment; they do seem to run a little long.
UPDATE: 2.0 stars for the following experience… I went to Moxie one last time before I moved and because I couldn’t get in with Mandy, I scheduled an appointment with someone she recommended instead. While I can’t remember her name, I was disappointed in the color. I asked that she darken it a bit for fall, and I actually left with blonder highlights than I had before – in fact, they were white blonde and not applied as close to my scalp as usual which means I’ll have to have it redone sooner. Plus she charged me $ 20 more than Mandy. I felt like she did a sloppy job simply because she knew I wasn’t going to be a repeat client.
