This is my FAVORITE store!!! I’ve shopped MANY Joanne’s stores and Lewisville is my absolute favorite!!! The selection of yarn is second to none as well as jewelry. Prices are amazing and worth driving several miles for! I will patron this store for years to come in sure! Highly recommend it!!!

I love joanns website, you can go in it to see whats in stock at your store. I like there unique licensed prints, like super hero stuff and sci fi geeky fabrics. The people cutting fabric are nice. The only thing needs improving is checkout. Sometime there just standing there on the phones not paying attention. And I hate the cinnamon pine cones during Christmas season, its a sickly smell.

Wow, 4 cutters a the table! Awesome!(But no one still knows how to flip the Now Serving number sign…) Why did I get the one without a scanner and didn’t know how to write it up? Oh, it gets better… After cutting my material the cutter tried folding it. It was hard, as it was super light weight. So… she stopped, rolled it up in kind of a lumpy ball and handed it to me. Mercy! I’m paying for a ball of fabric? Well, no big deal for me, since I had to preshrink it anyway. But a story this sad, had to be true. Tread carefully everyone.

I can never find what I’m looking for quickly. They seem to rearrange — or maybe they just don’t follow the typical Jo-Ann layout and so everything is in the wrong spot. The shelves are often haphazard and not cleaned up, so you have to hunt and hope for the best. Then the worst happens — waiting in line. And waiting. And waiting. You look at magazines you have no interest in, get interested, then look up and realize you are STILL waiting for a cashier. This store needs a new manager or owner, a total re-train of the staff, and hire more staff!

I shop regularly here and it gets super busy on weekends and after work. Pick up a ticket number for fabric cutting. I love their 40% off single item coupons and periodic sales on sewing patterns. I definitely stock up. Since it gets busy, check out is a tad slow. Week nights typically only one cashier. But I’ve always had great service at this location. Fabric cutters are also knowledgable about fabrics if you tell them about your project and have questions. You also can meet other sewers n crafters who share their experience and tips!

Just had a horrible experience today. I went in to sign up for a crochet class next week and after seeing no one at the customer service desk I decided to risk waiting in line.(I should know better.) 16 minutes later(I checked my watch) I was informed by the lone, overwhelmed cashier that no one was responding to her calls on the radio and she did not know how to get into the system to sign me up. I ended up leaving without signing up, obviously. Since I really want to take the class and this is the closest location with a time I can make since I work two jobs I called the store an hour later to find out if I could register over the phone. The employee who answered the phone informed me that they were very busy today and could not assist me. I was informed I could call back tomorrow and MAYBE someone could help. In the end I felt like my business was worthless. I would not recommend going here at all! While this is the closest location I might be driving all the way into Dallas to take the class at the Preston location. So extremely frustrating!

The store is fine but I won’t be shopping here again thanks to the jerk of a cashier, Edward. He acted like he was still recovering from the night before. When I made it clear I would be calling the manager, he suddenly tried to be sugary sweet. You shouldn’t have to threaten people to get basic service. And by basic I mean a polite tone, please and thank you. I won’t be shopping here again. Too many choices to put up with this nonsense.

Love this store for holiday items. They always mark down their holiday items prior to the holiday. They carry a variety of craft items and offer coupons. I am not impressed with how long it takes to checkout of this store. There is always a wait and usually 1 maybe 2 cashiers. On my visit there was a line and 2 cashiers, a guy walks up to the cashier to ask where something was and he stopped checking out customers and walked the guy to the item. This left the line to continue to grow. The cashier stated«I have to walk you to the item.» The guy said«You can just point me in the right direction.» The cashier said«It’s our policy.» It’s a little frustrating when you are getting one item and waiting in a long line but this is always the case at this store.
