It doesn’t get much better than a Veterans Day sale at Belk’s in early November.
This is a fairly good sized store, not quite what you might find at a major mall but they have decent representation for most departments.
This location carries a nice selection of Panther QB, Cam Newtons clothing line, it’s called Made.

Belk says it’s all about Southern style for clothing. This isn’t quite true: I found some nice skinny jeans on sale here, including some in a color I’ve not seen since my old pair of regular fit jeans I had in middle school that I eventually outgrew (or maybe they got worn out; I don’t remember which).
This place is akin to a Macy’s, Sears or JcPenney when it comes to layout, price & departments. I really wish they didn’t organize the clothing by designer but in sections like Petites or Career Separates: I was trying to find a decent longer skirt & had no luck here, especially when my time was limited.
One good thing about this one is its location: it’s right off Interstate 85 in a shopping center that seems to have become forgotten. Never had a problem with parking and chances are if you go here when it’s not Black Friday, you’ll also be able to find good parking.
