Really great hotel, Mr. Patel and his family and employees are great. Best free breakfast around. Clean and comfy rooms.

I know this is a bottom tier hotel & should expect 4 cheap walls & bed for a cheap price. But even for a low end budget hotel, don’t stay here more than a day or 2. The pool is kinda green with junk on the bottom. The place smells of a combination of cigarette smoke, paint & body odor. The walls & doors have grime stains all over. The free breakfast is the very basic level hotel free breakfast. The people are very nice. I stayed here a year ago for work, liked it fine & it was clean. I don’t know what happened but, I definitely won’t come back.

I have been coming to Lexington, NC(Barbecue Capital of the World) for last 10 years for work & I have stayed at this place when it was Holiday Inn, La Quinta Inn and now it is Quality Inn. Thru all the changes, the hotel is still owned by the same owner & he is almost always at the hotel even working the front desk when you check in/checkout. This hotel sit at the end of the road(great location) right off route 85. There are bunch of restaurants and shopping center right next to it. They have huge parking lot in the front of the hotel and there are additional parking on the side of the building as well(there is also side/back entrance). I have paid all kind of different hotel rates depending on when/which brand franchise owned it but it is 70 bucks a night with the current Quality Inn. The hotel rates might change during the BBQ festival or furniture expo – two things Lexington, NC is well known for – if you ask, the young indian guy who works 2nd shift at the front desk, he will recommend you great traditional Lexington BBQ restaurants that are in the 5 minute radius. He(Nishan) is also local golf aficionado so if you want to play round of golf, he/they can recommend few very cheap but great courses. Overall — this hotel is VERY well maintained and with every franchise change, the hotel has gotten better with the re-modeling/updates. As soon as you walk in, there is huge lobby are with free newspapers, free compute with a printer. The room are very clean, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and they will provide anything else you may need. The building is only 3 floors with 60+ rooms but they still have an elevator which come in handy sometimes. They offer free wi-fi in the entire hotel. They also have free continental breakfast from 6 to 9:30am in conference room by the lobby area(you really get a bang for 70 bucks. lol). The one thing that sets this hotel apart is a GREAT service, it is own by a local family so they remember your name if you have stayed here more than once. The owner is very professional & he will take a time out to chat with you. Even if you are new/first timer, he will always thank you for your business when you checkout – and I can name plenty of these small gestures that make this place classy & your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place if you are in area and looking for place to stay – I know I will back here again in the near future.

Hubs and I stopped in Lexington, NC while driving from NoVa to Atlanta. First, I’ll say that I’ve stayed in luxury hotels all over the world and I enjoy lush creature comforts as much as the next gal, but when I stop at a hotel/motel at 3am without a reservation, I’m not expecting much besides a safe place with 1) a semi-comfortable bed and 2) clean accommodations. This Quality Inn delivered on those fronts. Admittedly, the bar wasn’t set too high to begin with, so I’m reviewing the QI on what it was, not what it wasn’t as compared to higher end accommodations. Room rate for a king room was $ 80/night. The staff was polite and helpful. We had a king room with in-room microwave, coffee maker, and basic furnishings, nothing fancy. There was free in-room WiFi with a strong signal(major plus!!!) and free breakfast 7−9am. I didn’t partake in the breakfast preferring to get back on the road. From what I saw, it was assorted cereals and frozen waffles, coffee, tea, juice. Again, I was not expecting it to be 4-star type buffet but it would have served its purpose in a punch. Of note, the water pressure was good and strong. We’ve all been to that place with a tepid trickle masquerading as a shower… not here! I actually had a nice hot shower that worked out the kinks from sitting in a car for several hours. It’s those little things that positively influence me.

I made a reservation on July 16,2012. it was a anvance purhase rate, meaning paid in advance… the night I show up Oct, 26, 212 I am told that the reservation was cancelled. but he had a room but it was going to be $ 23.00 more for the night. found out it was during a festavile. I’m sure they knew they could get a higher rate for the room. When I called Choice Hotel’s I was told that the hotal could do that. So I ask why make a reservation… what a rip off…

The Quality Inn now has HD tv sets in the rooms. They will soon be refurbishing the breakfast area. Staff is all very nice. Upon check out the owner mentioned that he remembered I had been there before, thanked me for my repeat business, and hoped I would return again. As in 2012 the surroundings are quiet, rooms are clean, comfortable bed, strong wifi signal.
